Americas Best Value Inn Goldsboro

I've seen plenty of people complain about the hotel. I've had an extended stay there while waiting on my house to be finished. I haven't had one bad experience. It's been quiet out there, soon as I need something they jump on it to make sure I have it. Very friendly staff and I would recommend this hotel!! Room was cleaned, no bugs. I would stay there again!!

Good place like it

I have been booking here for a couple of years now, from time to time. Every interaction I've had with the staff has always been very pleasant. Everyone works together to be sure any needs you may have are met and that your room services are taken care of daily. The location is pretty great with being able to get gas and food nearby if need be. The hotel has also been remodeled and looks very nice compared to its neighboring locations. This is definitely where you should be staying when either visiting or staying for the work week in Goldsboro !

Looked better than super 8 (across the highway), cheaper and smaller than super 8. Beds were hard but understandable for price. No breakfast just coffee. Half of the vending machines for drinks did not work. Pool is only open 2 days a week for 5 hours. Smoke detectors worked. Ice machine Is open until 11pm. Tv was in a box. Friendly staff.

It’s a low price motel… if you need a basic room, no frills, this is more than adequate. Room was clean and seemed to function for all we needed for one night. Older style roadside motel, but seems to be maintained well enough. Lights and walkways were fine. Not the cleanest outdoor area, but fine.
Paid less than $80 total for one night.

Bathroom has been updated recently.
Paint on room is fresh-ish.
I hate pass through rooms… they are always noisy and never feel as secure. You hear everything from the adjoining room, tv, conversation, other stuff… uggg.

The staff will go wrong with nasty the tub was dirty cereal butts on the floor no tissue in the bathroom and the paper up front had a nasty attitude

Bed was very uncomfortable

My extended stay here, up until today had been more than pleasant. But, just like you will experience in all workplaces, there will always be at least one person who causes a poor reflection on the establishment as a whole. since December 8th, 2023 I have been residing at America's Best Value in Goldsboro. Not one time before today has any staff or hotel personnel ever so much as raised their voice so much as one octave above mine. Granted living here and paying consistently everyday has not been easy for me. some days I make payments late, but I have managed to pay whatever price management has asked of me. Today at 11:47 a.m. I was woken up by the Older White Lady. I never had issues with this woman prior to this, nor had she EVER mentioned anything to me about "if I were to pay after 11:00 am. that it would be my last day to stay here." This woman is the ONLY negative thing about this property, she has been the ONLY employee that has EVER had a bad attitude, an inadequate way of handling situations that should be handled with respect, not in the manner that she has displayed today. I hope this company shows some type of disciplinary action toward their employees if and when they choose to take their emotions out on PAYING CUSTOMERS. (also instead of using my booking account, I paid the FULL price 2 days in a row with this same women just to be apologetic for my timing. but unfortunately that obviously just wasn't enough.

It was an interesting experience.... From the parking lot fights to the intoxicated individual falling on our bags.
