Howard Johnson by Wyndham Jackson

Our car broke down mid-roadtrip, so we initially chose to stay at the Howard Johnson Inn due to its proximity to the repair shop...but if circumstances had been different, we would still choose the Vann Dr location in Jackson! What great front desk service! The room was super clean and updated; loved the furniture with oodles of charging ports for our array of electronic devices! Air conditioning worked well, bed was comfy, and WAFFLES FOR BREAKFAST! Yum! The pool looked super inviting when we first arrived, but temperatures dropped and we opted not to swim...but it was filled and ready for someone braver to splash in 🙂 Overall very good hotel experience that almost makes me wish our vehicle hadn't been fixed so quickly 😄

Absolutely loved our stay. Very clean. Nice breakfast and such a nice property. The following morning the owner was working the front desk (Tuesday). She is amazing! Such a sweet person. She made sure my daughter and I ate breakfast. She was sanitizing everything, even the water fountain. I 100% recommend this Howard Johnson. I will always stay here when in the area. Thank you for your hospitality!

I was able to get a last minute room at the Howard Johnson in Jackson. My room was on the first floor and was exceptionally clean. I felt safe and wouldn't have had any concerns traveling with my family. The hotel was undergoing renovations. It's true that breakfast was not provided however, I have come to notice traveling since Covid, that Hotel Breakfast's are usually lacking anyways, so I was pleased to find that Breakfast was not served. This is an older hotel but the price reflects that.

Room was clean, extremely friendly staff and decent wi-fi. Shower drain needed to be plunged as I ended up with ankle deep water during my shower, but other than that, an overall pleasant experience, especially for the reasonable price! Would absolutely stay again

A family member had chosen another hotel(after calling Howard Johnson & was told they were booked) which wasn't to my liking at all. They had dirty towels lying in the window & it was just gross. Then we drove to several others in the area which were rodent infested. After having a terrible night we decided to check out Howard Johnson again. The room was beautiful, nicely cleaned & NO BUGS. The receptionist was even acting like she was happy to be there doing her job. We also stayed an extra night. Thanks HJ! 💜

I loved staying in this hotel because the staff friendly I have actually had to live at this hotel so it was refreshing that they remembered me and they see your need they are kid-friendly and there is really not any issues as long as you are respectful. Clean, great customer service! The ladies at the counter are knowledgeable and they don't have any issues with handing you your towels or giving you extra sheets or anything like that. The management is amazing!!

This place was extremely clean. They were going thru some renovations, so the lobby was a bit disorganized but who cares? The outside was clean and well lit.. the room we had was extremely clean. I was very surprised and happy. The front desk even helped us get ice out to our car. Kudos to all rhe staff! Thank you.

It was very refreshing to be greeted properly. Front desk was fast and friendly upon checking in. And that makes such a huge difference. I would definitely recommend staying here if you find yourself in the area. Quiet & very clean as well! Five ⭐’s

The staff was friendly. Our room was very clean thanks to our wonderful housekeeper who paid attention to every detail while we was there. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Had a 2 night stay here, everybody was very friendly, bed was a little hard, the room was clean,free breakfast, they had waffles,biscuits, eggs,sausage,gravy, bagels muffins yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, & juices. The hotel is very close to many different restaurants & shopping centers. If we are ever back in the area & need a place to stay, we will probably be staying here!

Tasha at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous when Priceline made an error and couldn't find our reservation. Her excellent customer service by going above and beyond for not only us, but other customers with similar Priceline issues should be recognized-especially when there was no manager physically present to help her. Our stay was great. No breakfast-but that was again due to a Priceline error on their non-updated site. Thank you!

My stay at Howard Johnson was very peaceful. The young lady at the front desk during most of our stay was phenomenal. She was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. The over all manager, and his wife were very helpful and professional.

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. Staff is friendly and there for whatever you needed. The breakfast was great a little more than you expect for continental, with biscuits and gravy, folded eggs, waffles and sausage. Also I love that it is a pet friendly hotel 🐶

The lady who runs the front desk is the best. Every time we have needed to extend our stay, she has made it happen. There are a variety of restaurants close by that you can walk to, if needed. A Walmart is close by, a Waffle House, because, for now, a hot breakfast is not possible at most hotels. A Tesla charging station is close by and a Charge America station is close by as well.

This is a nice hotel and clean. If you are traveling through i-40 heading East coast or west coast and what to take a night with family or wife or girlfriend, make a real good stop and relax in this sweet hotel. The mall food and everything you need is right by the corner.

Love this place V and her husband manage this place. They are great people and the staff is superb. The staff will always be more than happy to help you. Everyone here is great. My wife and myself stayed here several times while we were searching for our retirement home. Thanks again

Good value. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice; clean and well stocked. My only complaint is that bacon was not a breakfast option.

The hotel room was nicely furnished, clean, some minor things were iffy like the bathtub had a hard time draining, but the excellent customer service we got from the daytime receptionist, I forget her name but it started with an R, was more than enough to make up for the tiniest problem ever.
