This Pet hospital has the best veterinarian in the country Dr. Barnett, has been an amazing veterinarian for my dog is the first clinic where I didn’t feel rush. Dr. Barnett took the time to hear all my concerns and when over every little detail about my dog pregnancy and next steps. She is just the most caring, compassionate and professional Doctor I ever been encounter, she helped me with my dog Greta thru the whole process of her C-section and after care. She is been going above and beyond with the after care questions and always make me feel at ease. She delivery my dog puppy when no other vets couldn’t. I will always be grateful with her for her compassion and professionalism during the whole process. I completely recommend the best equipment at Josey Ranch Pet hospital and the best Veterinarian Dr. Barnett.

This was our first time to trust one of our cat’s health at JRPH.

The staff is very pleasant and empathetic. Dr. Barnett is the sweetest vet we have met, she listened , answered all of our calls, gave us step by step instructions on how to administer meds and answered every one of our questions.

Coal was handled with love and care by the hospital handlers in his short time he was there (thank you for all you do)!

Even though our experience did have the outcome we hoped, he was put to sleep this past Friday, 1/19/2024 and Dr Barnett, stayed with us as Coal transitioned.

I have used Josey Ranch Pet Hospital for about 7 years. They have cared for 9 of my dogs and all 183 puppies (I breed service dogs.) From a knowledgeable, professional, and attentive staff to Doctors who know each animal individually and always tell you the most important thing: What is best for the Dog, there is simply no other vet I have ever used that I trust more.

This one of the best vets I’ve been too employees very kind and very friendly the veterinarian did several testing on my dog, which is very important I was very happy with all the help I got

Josey Ranch was recommended to us by our breeder (who drives an hour across Dallas to take his dogs here) and it is the only place we have taken our dog since she was born. Everyone is very helpful and Cora always receives the best care there. Dr. Teixeira is great with our dog and the staff all remember her whenever we visit, so they give an great feeling of personal connection with you and your animal.

We travel a distance to see Dr Barnett and Dr Cortiaus for our frenchies. We don’t cut corners with our dog’s care and trust the Josey Ranch staff to guide us in making the best decisions for our breeding program. Our dogs are our family and we accept nothing less than the absolute best standard in their care. They go above and beyond to ensure we’re taken care of even when it’s short notice. Dr Barnett and Dr Cortiaus have our complete trust and unending gratitude for all they’ve done and all they continue to do.

My dog had a positive experience at Josey Ranch Pet Hospital. She was seen for an infertility work up and for final OFA x rays. The positioning was excellent for the x rays. And, Dr Smith called and explained all the results of the infertility work up. The receptionists were prompt about sending all copies of the test results to me.

My dogs have been clients of Dr. Cortiaus for decades. I can't overstate the wonderful service they have received - always professional and very competent but, just as important, truly compassionate and caring. I've found this the case in the entire staff.

Amazing experience! We drove an hour for breeding reasons and they extended our appointment and walked us through all of their health testing. I loved everyone we met and feel exceptionally supported!

We love Josey Ranch Pet Hospital! We have 2 cats and a dog and have always felt confident in the care provided by the veterinarians here. They all truly care for pets and work with each one of their quirks to help keep our babies as comfortable as possible for their checkups. I really can’t say enough about this place. From the time I walked in the door, everyone was so very nice & helpful. Dr Jennifer Barnett was the best ever! So informative & she covered all of the bases. She told me things I’d not been told before about my 4 yr old Tess & 2 yr old Beau. Nothing bad, thankfully.
