Dr. Josh and the team are absolutely phenomenal! I can't find words to describe how happy and at peace I am to have found a veterinary team that works to provide the best care for my cats as well as helping to educate me on how to continue preventative care for them. My cat Larry is overweight and while we both agreed the extra fluff is cute, it's not healthy in his case so my baby is now on his weight loss journey and Dr. Josh even approved a healthy brand of treats for him! I did not skip a beat and immediately scheduled his brother Toby in for his annual and the team welcomed him with open arms as well. They were so kind and empathetic of his nervous nature. Dr. Josh uniquely catered to Toby's needs and set him up for a healthy journey as well. I'm very grateful that I have found a team I trust with my fur babies.

Isla is an elevated vet experience in every sense. Dr. Josh and his team make me and my dogs feel important. And they treat my dogs with compassion and kindness. In fact, after my first visit with Dr Josh, I joked to myself, “find someone who looks at you the way Dr Josh looks at my dogs.”

Honestly my experience with this vet is unlike any I’ve had before. I trust them to recommend what’s best for me and my dogs without tacking on unnecessary charges and services.

My dog has so much anxiety around the vet and as soon as Dr. Josh came in she settled down and went right to sleep I’ve never seen her go from 100-0 so quick. I cannot say enough good things about this vet. I recommend for anyone who has had previously bad experiences at vets. Totally different atmosphere. They want you to be educated about your pet’s care and treatment plan so you can make the right decision for your situation and they won’t try make you feel bad about your decision either. Huge plus. Highly recommend to everyone!

Dr Josh and his staff are amazing! They are all incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and feel like family! My fur babies and I are so thankful for them and love coming in! The office is modern and very clean. Hospitality is 10/10. And the care they deliver is incomparable. I’ve moved around a lot in the DFW area and have visited many vets, and Dr Josh is by far the best in Dallas!

I can say without hesitation the experience at Isla Vet is the best experience I have ever had with any animal at any vet. The thoughtfulness the staff exhibits from the moment you call to make am appointment to walking out the door is un matched. It is very clear the animal is the priority. The ability to give great care while placing minimal stress on the animal is a rare find in most veterinary clinics and yet a priority at Isla vet. Dr. Josh takes the time to go through in detail the physical exam, plan of care and follow up. Greatly appreciative of their team. Highly highly recommend.

Dr. Josh and his team take extra time to ensure that your pet gets the best care possible. No other place has gone out of their way to explain each step to the needed treatment as well as Isla vet. They mention possible causes, treatment, alternatives, and take into your pet's personal needs to optimize the care provided. I see no need to ever visit another veterinary professional beyond Isla vet!

Dr. Josh came highly recommended by a close friend and I couldn’t be happier to have chosen him and his team! I drive almost 30 min to get to his office but it is for good reason. He is so knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients. He wants to make sure that you as the parent, understand all of his recommendations. His team is so loving and sweet. This place exceeded my expectations. These people are incredible, kind, professional, and made my puppy and I feel extremely welcome and comfortable. They were able to get me in within the hour, and I was immediately greeted with kindness and respect. The nurses, receptionist, doctor, and other employees personally told me how precious my puppy was, and treated him like a little king. My puppy was so happy and was given excellent care. I’m a first time puppy owner and I was nervous to go anywhere to have my puppy looked at, and I’m BEYOND thankful I went here. I look forward to seeing the staff again in 3 weeks for his follow up appointment!!! Thank you guys!! I recommend this office to anyone and everyone. :)

Dr Josh was one of the many vet's my dog Pokey had over his lifetime and by far our favorite! As a vet tech I worked with him in California and could see his golden touch effect every client and patient he encountered. He has empathy, patience, compassion and intelligence.

What an outstanding visit to Dr. Josh and his team with my dog, Nala! The entire staff was caring, professional, and it was clear they all have a genuine love for animals. A special mention to the receptionist for her welcoming manner and the vet techs who showed great sensitivity towards Nala's shyness. They let her warm up at her own pace, never rushing or forcing, which made a significant difference to her comfort.

Dr. Josh himself was thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything in detail. He provided clear instructions for Nala's medication and the prices were surprisingly reasonable, with no pressure or upselling.

The team's attention to detail, their sensitivity, and exceptional service have made them my only choice for Nala's veterinary needs. Truly a five-star experience!

I realized I've never given a review! We have taken our dogs to Isla since around when they first opened. Dr. Josh is amazing. He loves our dogs and seems to really care. He gave my dog one of his personal dog's toys because he thought it would help her destructive tendencies! He is aware of and empathetic to cost restraints and will give an honest and thorough explanation of options with pros and drawbacks if needed. The biggest thing I respect, however, is his ability to say when something is out of his scope of knowledge. My dog had an insane bladder infection that was resistant to almost every antibiotic, and after not being able to fix it himself, he sent us to a specialist. Some vets (or professionals in general) will never refer out because they either assume they know everything or don't want to give away business, even when it causes harm. No one can know everything, and when a case is abnormal (like ours) it's so important to be able to find someone with more expertise in that specific area. That made me trust Dr. Josh completely with my dogs' regular care. If he ever goes out of business or moves I'll riot!🤣

This id THE VET BOUTIQUE to go to. The service was so unmatched, I can honestly say i was treated like family. I took my 3 pups in there and to say they were treated great would be an understatement. My pups were spoiled rotten!!! I love Dr. Josh and his team they were so charismatic and so full of care. This is now our main vet, if you haven’t given them our business i strongly suggest you change that!

Beyond impressed with Dr. Josh and our recent visit. I would classify myself (as would my husband), a “crazy dog mom”. Dr. Josh took an incredible amount of time getting to know us and our furbaby “Wrigley”, answering my myriad of questions, and treating us as if we were part of the family. The entire staff was top notch and I am so excited we found Isla! I would be remiss if I didn’t add that Wrigley can’t wait to go back to see his new friends!
