NSKB did a fabulous job on our kitchen and basement bar area in our Mequon home! We knew they would as they have remodeled 2 bathrooms for us in the past. We love our new look and are having such fun hosting in our new space. Rick, his staff and contractors are all talented tradesmen using quality products, but equally important, they are kind and considerate.. They were very responsive to all of our many questions and worked hard to make everything just the way we wanted it We highly recommend them for any remodeling project big or small!

I had a huge remodeling job including kitchen, dining room, and family room with NSKB from mid January to late March, 2018, and am completely satisfied with their work. Two brothers, Rick and Tom Skebba, were fabulous in assessing the financial necessity and executing the work as planned (designed). I removed the walls between the dining room, family room, and kitchen, opening up the ceilings and all the drywall, rerouting water pipes, electric cords, and almost everything behind walls. I leveled the floor for hardwood flooring and the ceiling for new cherry cabinets. I bought from K.G. two slabs of granite to cover the countertop and 8 x 4 1/2 island. All worked as expected almost in time. My wife liked their policy to allow customers make all the specific decisions and choices. I liked Tom's mastery of the remodeling procedure. We have no complaint whatsoever, and love the result of their hard work more and more as time goes by.

We had an incredible experience with North Shore Kitchen & Bath for our full kitchen remodel. Rick, the owner, was professional and very responsive to any needs or questions we had. He was patient with us and made our overall experience the best it could have been (going through a full kitchen remodel during the COVID-19 crisis).

Beth, the designer, was helpful in all aspects of the project. She helped us think through our choices. Bob and Sam, the on-site contractors were friendly, and did incredible work. They were professional and hardworking. All the sub-contractors (electrician and plumber) were professional and took care of any other questions, concerns, and issues we had.

We received bids and spoke with many contractors throughout our process to find our "best contractor fit", and NSKB highly exceeded our expectations. From start-to-finish the process was as easy as a kitchen remodel could be, on-schedule, and on-budget. We highly highly recommend NSKB and would use them again.

We had serious water damage to our master bathroom and decided at that point to just do a full remodel because we had planned to eventually remodel anyways, knowing that we had original 1960s galvanized pipes and a tiny footprint. We got several bids and ultimately went with North Shore Kitchen & Bath because (1) their bid was competitive with everyone else who bid, (2) we had them recommended by neighbors, (3) we loved the convenience of the turn-key (start-to-finish) service with a full showroom and (4) the fact that we picked all materials out before signing a full contract meant we were able to have a much more accurate idea of the actual final cost going into the remodel. They met with us several times and we fine-tuned the contract and our product choices so that all our questions and decisions were down in writing. They began the work on the day specified and we were given a 6-8 week timeline; the job was finished in 6 weeks, 3 days. We had a few change orders along the way due to some unexpected structural issues and some minor additions we made along the way but the change order costs were all signed off on by us before the work and all reasonable give the additional scope of work. Throughout the entire process, Rick, Tom and the whole team were honest and transparent. Not only was their work impeccable, but they addressed all my concerns as they cropped up and they kept the rest of my house as clean as possible (which was impressive considering they were renovating and repairing water damage on all three levels of our home). The whole team was also extremely friendly, and were very gracious to my two kids who asked them a million questions about the process and also gave attention to my people-loving dog. I also want to give a special shout-out to our designer, Beth. She was very good at understanding what we were going for in our design, was able to merge my husband's and my differing viewpoints on items and also helped steer us towards options that we didn't consider in the beginning, but were of course, ultimately the correct choice. We would recommend Rick, Tom and the whole North Shore Kitchen & Bath team in a heartbeat. We have another 1960s original bathroom to redo in the future and as soon as we have the funds saved up, we know who to call!

Rick and his team were helpful throughout the whole process. They came to us with fresh thinking and worked within our budget to come up with a great kitchen design. Even as issues popped up during the project (due solely to our house being old), Rick and his team were communicative and professional. We love our new kitchen!

We have a very busy schedule and determined that we wanted to work with a company that took care of all aspects of the kitchen design, demo and remodel work. We were very happy with the North Shore Kitchen and Bath group. We worked with Beth who was very good at reading us as clients and how much advice and direction we needed/wanted and when to give us space. She worked very closely and provided us a lot of good direction. We love the design that they came up with and did such a great job making the most of the space that we had in our kitchen remodel.

If you are looking for a company who's customer service, work quality and timeliness is top notch, then North Shore Kitchen and Bath is the company for you. Not only has the outcome of our bathroom remodel been perfect but the entire process has been smooth and so much fun. From the very beginning stages of planning and picking out product to executing the job, the entire team at NSKB has been amazing. We have three children and each team member from NSKB has been so family friendly and accommodating! We have full trust in this amazing company who always talked to us when things popped up, called, dropped in or came right over if something needed attention. They are honest, fair and in general just a super team to help you with your next home project! We will actually miss having them around!

Working with NSKB was a totally positive experience. Everyone we dealt with, from the designer to the subcontractors was hard working, conscientious and friendly. The finished product exceeded our expectations, and was delivered (with the exception of a couple of long lead time items) ON SCHEDULE. Cost was transparent, and changes were tracked as the project proceeded. We heartily recommend NSKB.

NSK&B did a complete, quite tricky remodel of our 80s-kitchen that required removing one of the walls to open up the space and reinforcing the floor support in the basement. We went through ~10 remodel teams before signed up with NSK&B and this was the best decision made. The kitchen now looks stunning and very functional, the team was very professional--hire with confidence!

North Shore Kitchen & Bath completed my kitchen project recently. It was not a complete kitchen remodel - I had my walls/cabinets painted, replaced the countertop/sink, and added a backsplash. I am mostly happy with the overall result of the project, and the cost was more affordable than other businesses with whom I discussed the project. However, I will say the process to get to the final result could have been much smoother.

NSKB’s communication was lacking. From the beginning of the process when I was working with the designer to pick out finishes, I would have to reach out myself whenever I wanted an update because I would go weeks (sometimes over a month) without getting any information. When I did reach out, I usually had to follow up multiple times before I finally got an email back. I was told a start date for my project, and then when I reached out with a question later the designer mentioned a different date. The change had not been run by me or communicated to me. Had I not reached out myself, I wouldn’t have known until they showed up that morning to start.

The painters had to come back multiple times for touch ups after finishing the initial job. They got paint on my under-cabinet lighting and hardware because they didn’t tape around or remove them; they just painted around things. Paint was spilled on my floors and the NSKB team was able to clean it up a majority of the way, but there is a permanent spot that is darker than the rest of my floor.

The team also lost two pieces from hinges and were not able to hang the last cabinet door. It took NSKB almost 2 months to come back and find a solution after I followed up with them multiple times. Overall, the project that was supposed to be completed in early December ended up taking until the end of January.

Working with the owner Rick was an awful experience. KG Stevens did a phenomenal job, the two individuals who installed the counter tops were very professional, extremely polite, and the quality was great. However, Rick's timeline of when things would be completed was completely off. He showed up to the last job and just sat there while the work was being done. He then handed me the invoice in person and asked to have it settled immediately. I felt that was extremely unprofessional and I would never work with Northshore Kitchen and Bath again. However, I know a few companies in the area who work with KG Stevens, and I will absolutely recommend them to everyone I know who is renovating.

Working/communicating with the owner Rick wasn’t very pleasant. Product ultimately was of good quality.
