I cannot stress enough how wonderful and helpful the staff at this Ace location are! They always know how to help, even if they don't have the parts needed, they'll give you their advice on where else to go. I'm always surprised by the amount of items they have. My FIL even got a replacement glass pane cut while he waited. I highly recommend checking out this store.

They did not have what I needed, I was looking for a door plate, but I really liked the personalized attention and that I spoke with some who actually knew what I was talking about.

I went in for a staple gun and as soon as I walked through the door the staff greeted me. They were very welcoming and also very helpful.

They asked if they could help me find something, I told them what I needed, and one of them took me directly to it. I was in and out.

I’m grateful for their great customer service. I usually dread going to the hardware store because it can be overwhelming, but this trip was very different. The staff took me to what I asked for instead of telling me where it’s is and expecting me to guess which one is best for my task.

I will most definitely recommend this location to anyone for they are knowledgeable and the store is neat and well stocked.

Tony helped me diy a solution to an issue and ground down a wingnut to make a part I needed. I'm an extremely satisfied customer.

This store has everything I need, everyone is super friendly including Brandon who is personable and hands down the best with customer service and support. I needed a new key fob and he ordered in right away and helped get me set up. Jon who used to work in paint was amazing and knowledgeable with exceptional customer service! Too bad he doesn’t work there anymore:( The rest of the staff was amazing as well!

Village Ace Hardware is an old school style hardware store. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help get you just what you need. AND, if you're not sure what to do they will give you knowledgeable advice to help. I have been going there for years and will continue to do so. If you need a repair or help figuring something out the back counter is indispensable. Their prices and fair and the service is priceless.

Extremely helpful. Stopped in with my Italian leather bag that had a a hardware issue for one of the hook clasps that connects the straps to the bag. Guy that helped me went above and beyond. He hand-cut a screw with a hacksaw and essentially made a custom-size screw for my bag despite having a hand injury. Guy deserves a raise.

Much prefer it to Home Depot. I can ask questions and show them things I screwed up. You often get three employees get together to answer a tough question. My research indicates it’s not generally more expensive either. Fast in and out too. Shop Small.

I had to buy a grill, and I didn’t even know what I was really looking for, but they helped me with the perfect solution.Those guys care about their customers. On top of that, their customer service is top notch. Bravo! You guys are the best!

I went to Ace looking for an old-fashioned Stanley thermos and, it took awhile because it was on a high shelf, but I found it! Very happy because no one makes these to keep beverages hot as long as Stanley does.

Had to stop and get office keys duplicated this morning and what a fabulous store and staff!! Frank helped me. He was fast and efficient but more importantly, friendly and a pleasure to talk with!!

Ace Hardware is not like any other store that I have ever been to. The Meinecke's, who own 5 different locations around the Milwaukee area, have a fantastic crew; each Ace member works together to satisfy one's needs. When you walk into the store, you are greeted with a warm welcome by the cashiers as they direct you to an aisle where they believe best fits what you are looking for. Depending on how busy it is (it can get very busy), another employee awaits to assist you. Asking as many questions as one might, these employees give outstanding advice. If you have a project you are working on and have no clue what you are doing, don't worry. They are there to guide you with every step of the way. If an employee is not familiar with a certain topic, they are willing to ask another employee or employees to step in. Which truly shows that Ace wants to help you compared to big box brands which might not answer your questions or personally point out your options. Even though the employee's are working individually, they work together as a team. Which over the years, I have not seen a lot. If what you are looking is not there, they are happy to call another "sister" store to see if they carry it, otherwise order it online to get it as soon as possible. This is a big store for not being a big box brand and for someone who had never been here before it might be overwhelming, but the employees working on the floor know the store so well and want to make sure that you aren't anxious while looking around. Don't be afraid or hesitate to ask a question. Every store has it's flaws and I bet some individuals have experienced these, but Ace truly wants to help you. The employees are not only kind and helpful but also extremely patient and inviting.

I have been coming to the Village Ace Hardware over two decades. The employees are super knowledgeable about all my repair and painting needs, and are very helpful in suggesting the right products.

I have owned a home around the corner from this Ace for five years, and I have spent a lot of time at Ace as I love to figure out how to do home projects on my own. Without the amazing employees at this Ace, my home would probably have burnt down or flooded by now. They are SO HELPFUL!! From taking me to the correct aisle to giving me all the instructions I need to do my project! It is so hard to find this kind of service at any other store!

Creative ambiance, use of space is pure genius. Well stocked w/ such an impressive array of items that the average customer will certainly benefit from the visit, leaving with an armload of goods.
