Lakeside Animal Hospital

When I switched my dog over to here it was the best decision Ive made. She is treated wonderfully with kindness and compassion and no breed bias. Everyone is great and passionate. I wish i liked my human doctors as much as my dogs doctor!

I have been going to Lakeside Animal Hospital for over 50 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. They are so professional and knowledgeable, caring and compassionate with every visit. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Best place you can take your buddy. The staff is always so sweet and understanding and you can tell that they truly love what they do. I’ve taken both of my dogs here and I have never had a bad experience. Great place and fantastic people working here :)

Very pleasant experience with Dr. Poetzel. Took in 3 cats at once. Gentle and kind to all 3. In and out in a little over 1/2 hour. Have been going to Lakeside for years. Nice doctors and front desk individuals.

I have taken my beloved guinea pig Lou to see Dr. Kowitz twice now. The women at the front desk are an absolute pleasure-so sweet and helpful! The first time, I was a nervous wreck! He was so good about explaining things in a way a layman like me could understand, and fixed her up like the professional he is. I have had Lou for 5 years and had never taken her to the vet. I am a lowly chef and don't have a lot of money, so I educated myself on how to properly care for a guinea pig. But when she got sick, I was so scared of losing her, that I didn't hesitate. When we met Dr. Kowitz, his kind and gentle demeanor put my mind at ease. One thing I respect about the doc, is that he has never said anything to me about the fact that she is older, or made me feel that she is any less deserved of her life than a regular pet, like a dog or cat. I love and adore my little girl, and he is determined to make her well whenever we visit him. We love Dr. Kowitz!

I’ve been bringing my pets here for many years now. I just recently had a visit with Dr. Sweet who is new and I absolutely loved her. She was so attentive to my dogs, super friendly and caring as well. She was the whole package. My pups loved her too! Front desk is always helpful and friendly.

The staff were all super friendly. Dr. Sweet was amazing and so personable throughout the appointment. She was super careful while handling my frog and is clearly very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for exotics. I couldn’t be happier to have her as my frog’s new vet!

Lakeside Animal Hospital has very friendly staff. There was an exam room ready for us to go into right away, so it was nice that our cats didn't have to wait in the lobby. The doctor was very knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of our questions. She also conducted a very thorough exam. We have complicated feeding and supplement schedule for them and she took her time taking notes and asking for clarification, and past history information, when she needed it. Also, took the time to go over other options should our supply chain have shortages again. We are very happy with our experience.

They are very welcoming and doctor Sweet is amazing she really took time to answer my question about my cat Millie! And made me feel good leaving with her after her yearly wellness exam! Definitely take your pets here they are wonderful and you can tell they really really care about animals here!! 😊
