Country Pride

We used to be over the road truck drivers, so we are used to truck stop food. The cook here was above the normal truck stop cook. The omelet was delicious and fluffy. The hash browns were buttery tasting. We will be stopping here again.

Love everything about this restaurant! Go there during the week during the day ! The cook is amazing!! The cook at night needs some training ( the old man whit hair) but that morning cook is amazing! The wait staff is awesome!! So clean and fresh when we go in there!

Finally the restaurant is open. Ordered Cajun grilled fish and I loved it. Perfectly seasoned. Thank you. Will stop by again.

Arrived at 8:55pm Friday 4/21/2023 only to find they close at 9:00pm What a disappointment. The waitress on duty and chef offered to stay open to serve us a meal. We respectfully declined the offer. Exceptional! We graciously thanked them letting them know we would return during regular business hours.
Saturday morning we joined Country Pride for great coffee, my friend had biscuits & gravy with eggs over easy (which he thoroughly enjoyed). I was very pleased to see Barb our server from a previous visit. A million stars to these people!

Definitely deserves five stars for my waitress alone she was very attentive and also friendly. The food was good as well, but the waitress was exceptional at her job.

Had the Chicken Fried Steak n eggs w/sour dough toast.
The chicken fried steak was hot(stove hot) all the way through first time I've had it like that in a minute. Very pleased and the sour dough toast was delicious as well. Plus they have apple butter with the jams and jellies yum!!! Thank You for the great Breakfast!!!

We stopped to get gas and I decided to get a plate to go. We ordered the country fried steak with gravy, 2 eggs medium, crispy hashbrowns, a biscuit and it came in two containers and was more than enough to share. It took 10 minutes, the waitress was friendly and the cook had a smile. My boyfriend now has a smile as well, everything was so good!!!

This restaurant inside that truck stop made me and my best friend the absolute best breakfast we have had in years. I had a really big breakfast that came with cheese grits and eggs and potatoes and all kinds of meat and french toast and it was absolutely delicious and it came with a biscuit and gravy I think it might have been called the country boy or something but whatever it was excellent. My best friend had chicken fried steak and it was huge and it was absolutely delicious to him. As much as we wanted to take pictures the food looks so good when we got it we just immediately started eating. Service is this restaurant was quick the server was very attentive and very sweet and we went on Christmas Eve early in the morning like 7 a.m.

I've had the club sandwich and the country fried steak with eggs and both were really good. Fast friendly service and staff both times. I definitely recommend trying them out!

Ok, so as much as I don't like eating at most country pride stores this is one that will get my business again. I ordered the tots skillet OMG so good. There was a black gentleman cooking I didn't get his name but WOW the tots were perfect, the sauteed onions were perfect, and the eggs (you guessed it) PERFECT. I always order my eggs over medium and apparently no one can get it right. Well this man did. I'm awestruck at the quality of the food. That said the quantity for the price could be better but I didn't leave starving. The server was great she was so kind and had a very infectious smile and a very warm overall personality. Good job country pride maybe you should send all you employees here for training.

I ordered the Thursday special $8.99For beef tips and noodles with a slice of garlic bread steak was excellent noodles were cooked well and the portions were just right. Salad bar was fresh and full.

Country Pride is reopening on or near Feb 1, 2022.....after a long couple years closed....
My favorite waitress and morning cook are the best....love the Farmers Omelet....

Food was as ordered. Fresh, hot and tasted Very good. I tipped the waitress and cook.
