Shoe Stop

This family owned shoe store has two locations: Owensboro, KY, and Mt. Vernon, IL. When Mt. Vernon did not have my size in the style I wanted, instead of showing me a different style they immediately offered to check the other store’s s inventory. Within a few days I had my shoes. No fuss. No hassle. Just simple customer service. Thanks Shoe Shop!

Friendly staff, willing to help find what you need. Been coming here for years, they keep your purchases in the computer which makes it easy to repurchase that worn out favorite shoe. Wish they had more selection of dad house slippers tho :)

I had never been there before. We drove for 30 miles to get there. We walked in and this young girl says hi guys can I help you find anything. I said yes and told her. She was with us through my whole purchase. I praised her for loving her job or at least acting like it. It was like the olden days. Very Pleased!!!

Being a woman with shoe size 10 wide is very difficult to find a good comfortable fix. I needed a pair of work boots with steel toe. Yvetta was very kind & patient with me. She helped me find a pair on the sales rack for 1/2 the price! Thank you!

Great shoe store. They have something for everyone. I have high arches and wide feet. I have trouble finding shoes. This place has great looking, comfy and wide styles. Shoe inserts and more. I highly recommend it. I buy most of my shoes here!

Was traveling on the road and we need a pair of shoes fast had a blow out of my right show. Odd thing is I have size 15 shoe and they have them in stock.....we arrived there 15 minutes before the door open and the staff let us in early and assisted us right away. Now that's some great customer service

They were so helpful the second I walked in. Went to the foot Dr and he recommended hoka shoes and power steps he said the only place he knew had the hokas was this place. So went there to get some and they set me up and even put the power step soles in my hoka shoes so I didn't have too. Awesome ppl and amazing customer service!!

Very helpful associates, large selection and variety and great prices . I saved over $100.00 on my boots and was also able to get my work shoes here ; which are ESD not easy to find in my size or a style that I like. Thank you Shoe Stop

I went in with my dad who apparently wears a very common size the Manager helped us get 2 pair of shoes that fit him very well and was extremely helpful and nice.
