Hampton Inn Mt. Vernon

Warm greeting upon my arrival from both Mgr and
front desk employee.

Room was as I expected from a Hilton property - Perfect.
Clean fregence throughout the foyer, hallways, and of course - my room. Water pressure bold as Niagara Falls with plenty of hot water.

Ample parking offering a nice selection of Diamond spaces and mobility spaces up front as well.

Great location near the junction of I-64 and I-57 for easy access for travelers. Having a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant outside the main entrance of the hotel property added a nice touch for an evening meal without having to drive .
Delivery service Door Dash is available and accessible within 30 minutes just in case you desire a bit of pampering.

Devin, the desk manager was AMAZING! very kind, helpful & knowledgeable! You can tell he takes pride in his job! Room was clean and comfortable, requested extra blanket and received immediately. The breakfast buffet was good. We're so glad we found this hotel traveling down to Florida.

This is a very clean and efficient hotel. It has an amazing breakfast that is included with fresh squeezed juice even. They front desk was very helpful and when we asked for extra blankets. The pool was great for the kids. It is close to the freeway and eating options. (We had pizza delivered). The rooms are older, but well kept and in working order.

Great, clean hotel! The beds were so comfy, and the young man at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly!
He discounted our room because our booking was for a room with a refrigerator and microwave, but they didn't have anymore rooms of that type available when we arrived (much appreciated!)
The pool was open and although it's "heated", it's not that warm, but that's just my personal preference, my kids don't care, as long as it's wet!
The hot tub was closed while we were there.
Breakfast was ok, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurts, and muffins/bagels.
We will definitely book here again!

Excellent Hotel!
I have always had good luck with Hampton Inn. Kind of pricey, but I think it’s worth it. Comfortable room, nice service, decent breakfast. I’ll give it five stars. Not much to do in Mount Vernon though. The Dennys was good. Thank you and God bless!

Again, a wonderful experience staying at a Hampton inn. The manager and staff were all so accommodating and friendly. rooms are always clean and breakfast was great. We were celebrating my granddaughters birthday by meeting 1/2 way between ky and mo. We really created some great memories. The kids had a blast in the pool! I only stay at Hamptons and will continue to do so. Thanks for making our weekend trip perfect!

If you get Jack to check you in, consider yourself blessed. The rooms are clean and accommodating but he takes the cake overall. He’s a dream to talk to with great customer service and very helpful/ friendly/ competent- everything you would want in superior customer service. (Especially just coming off a long road trip). We will definitely be staying here again and he’s the main reason. Thank you, Jack! 🙏🏽

5 stars as always! I did notice the television in this Hotel was considerably smaller than other Hampton Inns. That was an important the beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome as always. On the plus side their pool is open and it is the first open pool we have come across traveling.

We stopped on our way to Iowa from Atlanta. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and cheerful. Cookies were great! Our room was clean and well maintained. Linens were freshly washed. The TV definitely needs an update- the room could use a few updates, as well. Overall- we were satisfied with our stay and would visit again!

I have been staying at this particular Hotel for a good number of years. I would like to pay you and your Staff the highest of compliments for the great job you have consistently done with the upkeep of your Hotel. From the first time I stayed there until this past Saturday, August 12, when we stayed again, your Hampton Inn has consistently been as new as it was when you opened. It has always smelled new and fresh! It has always been clean - near spotless. It has always been as comfortable or more comfortable than any Hotel I have stayed in. And, we travel weekly and stay in many Hotels. The beds are always fresh and are some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I would love to know where I might buy the mattress you use. Everything is done with excellence at your Mt. Vernon, IL Hampton Inn, and I give you the highest of compliments! You obviously have put together a Team which takes their jobs seriously! I give them the highest of compliments as well. I applaud you for a job well done! You deserve an Award of Excellence!

I give this Hampton a 5 star because of the staff! They couldn't have been nicer to myself and my handicapped sister. The room was clean and fresh, and we felt very comfortable. I slept so good that when I got home I asked my hubby to contact them by phone to tell them that, and to ask them what kind of mattress we had. They researched and called us back with all the info! I would definitely stay here at Mt. Vernon Hampton Inn again. Thanks so much.

Hampton Inn never disappoints. As one of the original breakfast included hotels, they still do it right. This location does have an indoor pool area including a hot tub.

The room was clean and very nicely kept. The breakfast was convenient to someone who had to get on the road quickly; and was varied in what you could eat (hot food, yogurt, cold and hot cereal, juice and fresh fruit). Not the usual cold cereal and sweet rolls you see at most places.

The staff was courteous and helpful.

I would stay here again.

Had to book online to make a reservation for my brother, who was traveling from Denver to North Carolina to my house. Desk staff was awesome and very helpful. My brother was treated very well and he loved his room. He said the staff was very friendly and helpful. Of course the room was A++ as always

I have stayed at the property at least 25 times. Their staff is extremely helpful, the breakfast great and their concern for the staff is outstanding. Yes, it is an older Hampton Inn, but the do a GREAT job. Joe Jamerson

Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. They have a heated indoor pool, a happy hour for 2 free drinks, and they serve a continental breakfast. Definitely would recommend this if you're swinging through.

Very friendly, made certain to let me know that my reservation through a third-party may not net me points, even though I was a Diamond member.

They checked my profile and put me in the perfect room, it was more roomy than I expected. The room was extremely comfortable too.

This is the most comfortable place I have ever been in, and I have been in the most upscale places. This hotel is so clean and comfortable. Don't let the pictures fool you. It's a beautiful place and smells so good.😊😊

Friendly, pretty and cozy. There was a fire place and a comfy couch ready to be sunk into when you walk in the door. A note on my keycard said "welcome back". Jacuzzi room very relaxing.
