Excellent customer service by William in Hardware. He took me to exactly what I needed. Please give this young man something for great customer service and friendliness.

Just ordered our new walk-in shower today! KD went above & beyond in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. He showed me several options & was extremely patient as I took my time making final decisions. This employee is truly an asset to Menards. A big shout out & thank you goes out to KD! Can’t thank you enough for helping make our beautiful new shower a reality!

Great customer service. Someone always offers to help me out, especially if I look a little confused haha. There are always good sales and plenty of cleaning supplies when I need to stock up for my cleaning business. By the way, when it comes to picking up a larger item around back, you may have to get your rebate at the front of the store after you get your item in the back outdoor pick up section. We ran and drove around the store and parking lot like a chicken with its head cut off. It wasn't necessarily the employees fault though, we just had a special order and you have to get to do a little extra work when it comes to a special item pick up. Always get your rebate and you'll be a happy shopper.

My husband and I have been looking for flooring for our entire home (2400 sq feet) for a while, we live in the Effingham area and went to that Menards, we found the vinyl plank flooring we like but they didn’t have enough on hand (yes we are doing the entire house in the same flooring) So I called your Mt Vernon store, talked to Erik W. and they had had what we needed. He was so helpful over the phone!! When my husband and I drove down there, he was just as helpful in person! The guy that loaded the pallet of flooring onto my husbands truck was super nice and did a great job! We unloaded it and went to pick up the flooring at Effingham Menards. Wow what a difference of stores!!! The guy that went to load the pallet of flooring this time had no clue how to drive the forklift. Told my husband the pallet wouldn’t fit, he told the guy that the store in Mt Vernon got a pallet on. The guy laughed. We will drive to Mt Vernon again before dealing at Effingham if at all possible. We are just starting a total remodel. Thanks Erik and our loader at Mt Vernon!!!

We purchased patio doors. Everything about the purchase went very well. It was delivered on the date they told me. Everyone was so helpful to make sure I had all the supplies I needed to install the door. This kept from making many trips back. Thanks guys for all your help.

Menard’s has a few nice perennials out now. We bought a few boxwoods and a flowering bush. The person that checked us out was very nice and had a positive attitude.

Nothing about the store I can say I didn't like. Great inventory with competitive pricing. Very clean and organized by departments. Cordial checkouts and helpful employees. The mask requirements rule I can endure.

This is a beautiful store. We were looking for a speality light for our fridge and the worker that helped was very helpful.. I had looked at other places and was going to have to order online. I was very pleased with the price of the light also!! I love that they carry everyday items, So I don't have to make a second trip to the grocery store. Milk, eggs, tea, coffee. Just to name a few🌟 Very impressed with the new store.

Went there looking for a certain board which we could not find. The young man in that area spent at least 10 minutes looking for what we wanted. Very patient and helpful. Left with just what we wanted. Employees have helped us out numerous times, always pleased with them.

I almost always have a good experience shopping at menards. The store is well organized, and the staff is very friendly, and most times helpfull. The only time I had any issue is when I'm coordinating an online order with a back lot pickup. Twice I've pulled up to the pickup area, called to say I'm there, and was left for o we 30 minutes b4 I had to go inside and start the process over in person because nobody had a clue what was going on, or that I had even called to check in. Otherwise, i like that a menards moved into my local town. It's been very convenient. Update. They seem to have since ironed out the bugs with their online orders. Last few times in I haven't had any issue. It seem like the longer the store has been open the better service they are providing. They have since loosened their covid restrictions. Masks are no longer required to enter the store.

I love this store! Sometimes I wish the grocery department had a few more things but otherwise get selection of products.

I had problems with an air-conditioning unit that I bought there. Richard and Brenda helped me out with it. It's a long story, and I was frustrated when I called, but both of them took such good care of me, and we're so nice and helpful. They just eased my worried mind! Thank you both for everything! Menard's is the absolute best!
