Picked up a book prior to my flight

My husband and I were both looking for another good read. We walked into the store and CeCe the young lady behind the counter looked at us and never said a word. I walked to the counter and asked for a certain book, CeCe looked up the book and walked me over to the shelf and proceeded to look. A white couple walks in and CeCe cheerfully greets them while helping me. The book I was looking for was not in that section so CeCe walked over to another section. The white gentleman stopped CeCe and asked for a book. CeCe stopped helping me to help the white couple. I asked her did she find my book and she stated she was now helping this gentleman. I told my husband to let’s go because this was racism at it finest. Simply Books is this the type of behavior you teach your workers? I guess our money is not welcomed here and I rather not spend my money in such a racist store!
