Half Price Books

My daughters and I love visiting this store! So many books and all genres are very well organized. We enjoy finding deals and gems every now and then. The quality and condition of books are great, you can also find puzzles, journals, lots of children's books, and much more.

I have lived in Humble for longer than I would like to admit and have never been to this business until yesterday. I will be back soon. Large and intriguing selection of books and albums but what makes it even better is the helpful and polite staff. It is always good to see young people happy at work. Great attitude from everyone I dealt with while selling a book. Thanks y'all.

Half price books is one of my favorite stores. I usually go to the one by NASA but this one looked bigger so I wanted to check it out. It definitely was bigger and I loved every second of it. I found 3 books of a series that looked interesting and got home and found they were signed copies! What a steal! The books are amazing too! I can't wait to come back with my husband soon! You never know what treasures you'll find here! The people working are extremely nice and helpful too!

It's a great bookstore! My wife and I spent hours combing through the shelves and found many books at a discount we could both enjoy. We will definitely be returning customers.

They have a great variety of books, including some beautiful journals with foil covers and blank inside. The books are very reasonably priced, and they also have records, both albums and 45 rpms. When I moved I actually sold some to them! And the staff is always welcoming and friendly.

We love Half Price Books! This store has a great selection and the staff is helpful. I have not tried to sell anything, so not sure of the pricing on that side, but overall the quality is good for the money you spend here.

But, sell, trade. This is a great place to exchange books you no longer want or need for new stuff to enjoy.

Cassettes, VHS, DVD, BLU-RAY, Board games, Comic books. They have it all.

Had a great time digging through the back issues, they price them cheap but they also don't really take care of them. You may find some hidden gems, but don't expect to find much in great condition.

Worth it if you just want some cool old books for yourself.

The staff is great, the store is relatively well organized, but the selection outside of romance novels and thrillers is lacking. I know it's dependent on what's sold, but I haven't seen new books in there in other sections in a long time. Still, I love the store.

Great store always easy to find what you need great prices... No discounts for military or for responders

One of my favorite book stores in Houston. I have been visiting this location for years. The prices like everywhere else have increased but you can find some gems in here. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

A good sized HPB with a hearty selection. I turned in 6 boxes of books and got $40 - hopefully the books end up getting pulled off the shelves by the right hands!

This Half Price Books store is the only one on the north side of Houston, I went there with our old set of World Encyclopedias 1969-1994 in excellent condition (not accepted because there were so many made) along with our old VHS Disney movies (not accepted because of condition) but I was able to sell a few Roger & Hammerstein DVD’s for $3.48
This store has a nice selection of all kinds of books, LP’s, 45’s and is very well organized.
