John in the firearms dept was absolutely phenomenal! Very informative, professional and friendly at the same time. He took the time and answered all of my questions without making me feel I was disturbing him. Even while waiting on my background check to come back, we talked and he would always address other customers at the same time NOT making other customers feel ignored. I’m very happy with my purchase from here. He made it go smoothly! You sir, are an great example of great service and I thank you! The store was very neat and organized as well. I’m feeling super excited about the entire visit. I love feeling like I got my money worth and this place did NOT disappoint.

The store is well stocked, and there were plenty of store associates available if I needed to ask questions. The day of my visit, it was very bust as it was Father's Day, so the parking lot had a lot of cars. To my surprise, the scheduling manager did a great job because moving through the checkout was pretty quick as there were 9 registers open.

Riley loves their fleece blankets. They usually go on sale after Christmas.

They only had a couple registers open and even with a few rude customers (becoming the problem of taking too long that they complained about) the staff was polite & super friendly. I had my ferret with me and the cashier wished she could ask about her but didn’t want to inconvenience others in line. I was also pleasantly surprised when my total was cheaper than expected!

Went in for some heavy winter gear. Some sizes were not available but managed to put together some gear.

I love Academy! It's my go to place for gifts for the Outdoors Man. I had gone to Academy to get a birthday gift for my Dad, who is an avid fisherman. I found him a blue fishing shirt with fish on it and fishing shorts. While, they were a bit pricey, I did not mind spending the money due to the quality of the product.

Store was very clean. The new check out line worked well too!

Great shopping experience. As a disabled ♿ person I had the assistance of a motor cart. Found shoes cap 12 shirts , 7 shirts and long pants with a couple of yeties 😊

The young guy (with 2- German Shepherds) in the sporting goods area was very, very helpful and polite. He guided me while I guided my Service dog and assisted me in purchasing a tent and a Plano Mil-spec gun case for my upcoming escape from Hurricane Irma (just kidding).

Customer service was top notch from all employees we encountered!

This is the best run Academy I've been to. Ordered a product online for pickup to find out the last one in stock had damage- manager hooked me up with the next size up for the same price. Staff is always attentive and friendly. Always get a "Have a Blessed day" or other courteous and appreciative comments from employees. Will continue to spend money there!
