I highly recommend Emler Swim School for swim lessons. Both of my sons, ages 1 and 3, love it here. The staff is warm, inviting, and goes above and beyond to comfort little swimmers who may be having a bad day or feeling timid. The instructors are knowledgeable and make the lessons engaging and fun. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Emler Swim School is a fantastic place for children to learn how to swim.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the remarkable impact Mr.Von have had on our daughter's life. At the age of 6, she had a strong fear of water, which made learning how to swim incredibly challenging for her. However, everything changed when we had the privilege of meeting Mr.Von.

My son has had a great experience at Emler. I've been particularly impressed with his current instructor, Britney. My son's group is wild and Britney has done a masterful job of harnessing their energy in a positive way. She brings tremendous enthusiasm to every class and makes the experience fun as well as educational for the kids. My son has made great strides across various strokes under her guidance.

We’re an Emler family. We’ve had both our daughters taking classes here. The teachers are amazing, the facility clean, and everything is top notch.

Brittany and Mary at the Westlake location are AMAZING. We have been going to Elmer since our baby was 3 months and now at a year old he has 6 seconds of breath control and is already starting to swim. My wife felt apprehensive about putting the baby under water at first, and the instructors have made her feels confident and more comfortable. She and our baby enjoy the classes so much each week.

Ms. Emily is the best! Our daughter loved learning backstroke with her. She made the lessons fun, engaging, and challenging for our swimmer. We have been swimming with Emler for seven years!

My daughter Julia has had the privilege of working with Mr. Paul as her tots instructor! Julia was gifted the 18 week session from her Nana in Ohio after we choose Elmer to host her third birthday party back in January 2021 - we knew this would be the perfect facility to teach our baby girl the fundamentals for swimming! Julia started off her first class in aqua tots but soon made her way to extreme tots! We are so proud of the transition in her abilities that Paul has driven her to succeed with and elated that she has learned to completely swim, float, ring dive in just 10 short weeks! The best part is Julia is always looking forward to her Monday sessions with Mr. Paul. He has become a champion in her life this year. The facility staff is always helpful, friendly and mindful of each child’s needs. I am honestly so impressed with the entire team at the Westlake location. Even the makeup sessions are easy to book and the coaches we don’t get to see on a weekly basis are truly amazing! Keep it up y’all! We highly recommend getting your kids in for some lessons or even just some etiquette. Swimming was such a great outlet for me as a child and I’m glad to gift this experience to my daughter.

My toddler went from being terrified of swimming to looking forward to classes with Emler. We’ve also been taking my 6 month old to classes and regret not taking my eldest at this age now, baby instincts to swim are strong when smaller. Shout out to Megan the manager who is so helpful and welcoming.

Since starting swim lessons a couple of years ago, my children have become stronger and stronger swimmers! The staff are so kind and patient. Highlight of my kids week :)

We have loved all the teachers at Emler! Our daughter has been attending swim classes since she was 8 months old and now she’s two. We’ve had classes with Paul, Spencer and Lauren. They have all been so patient with my little mommas girl and taught her so much about water safety and swimming.

I have been bringing my little one since he was 6 months old. The teachers at Emlers at Westlake are so amazing. I love their energy and the different songs they teach the children to help children enjoy being in the water. Unfortunately we moved and stopped classes for two years. Now that my little one is three and returned to this location again, he remembers swimming here. He always looks forward to his swim lesson! I’m so glad we are back!

Miss Emily is amazing. She teaches my three-year old's swim lessons. She is very creative with the themes and excited to be there. It's so nice to see my son giggling and having fun while learning to swim.

We have had three classes at Emler and I am absolutely blown away. My 4 year old daughter is extremely slow to warm up and doesn’t do well when thrown into unfamiliar situations. Before our first class John the floor manager observed my daughter shutting down and refusing go through the front door. He dropped everything and spent that entire class working with her. To my surprise she was in the pool in his arms within 10 minutes! During our last two classes John continued to connect with my daughter and help her transition into her class. It’s so touching how much they truly care about the mission of teaching children to swim. It’s also so relieving to know they are so experienced working with kids. As a parent I know they’ve got it and I don’t have to stress out about how I’m going to convince my kid to get in the pool!

Amazing place for our kids to learn to swim - all the programs from babies and up are fantastic… but the people are even better!

All the staff there are absolutely amazing and we all love going there. It is a great positive learning environment and we always feel so welcome.

Emler is an excellent swim school! Their methods are very effective, and the instructors are high quality. We’ve liked how they push the kids to learn more, but always keep things positive. Over the summer, we’ve enjoyed daily lessons because kiddos can make quick progress and build on their skills efficiently (plus, they can immediately apply what they’ve learned at pool parties and such). The manager and her lieutenant staff at the Westlake location are excellent.

We’ve been taking lessons at Emler for 9 (!) years. We recently did
3 weeks of daily lessons to improve our 7 year old’s strokes. His teacher Myan has been excellent and we have seen so much improvement! She is warm and has a great rapport with the kids. Also can’t say enough great things about the manager Mr John who always greets us by name.

We couldn't be happier with our Emler experience! In fact, my face is usually sore when we leave because I smile so much!
Watching little ones learn and grow is a beautiful thing! Thanks to wonderful, caring, passionate and patient teachers like Lauren, Brittney and Emily our child is confident and safe in the water and LOVES going to swim class. We are so excited to watch all the continued growth thanks to Emler.

Swim lessons saved my 3.5 year old son’s life this summer 2023. He accidentally fell into our pool while playing near the edge during a party we were hosting - at least 7 people were standing within 10 feet of him, and one 6yo kid was already in the pool… and NOT ONE PERSON SAW HIM FALL IN. It wasn’t until we watched the security camera footage later that we even knew what happened. He lost his balance, fell in, fully submerged, turned around 180° and climbed out via steps.

We were completely shocked, embarrassed and terrified at our lack of oversight, but I also feel proud of him because he knew what to do.

Emler taught me - and it’s so important that other people understand too - that **IF “EVERYONE” IS WATCHING THE POOL, THEN NO ONE IS WATCHING THE POOL.**
Next time we have a swim party, we will designate an adult water watcher in 15 min increments.

For reference, we started him in the waterbabies class at 10 months old until 18 months - he learned to love the water and swim for 10 seconds while holding his breath.
Then we took a year hiatus before buying a house with a pool. We did a week of immersive private lessons to teach him more respect for the water and to rely less on an adult in the water and more on getting to the side. Finally, on 4/28 this year, we had him evaluated at Emler and they placed him in the appropriate Aquatots class. He started in May and the first thing he learned was “if I fall in, which wall do I swim to” and the answer is so simple - “the wall I fell off of!” It was about 1 month later that this incident happened.

Y’all. Get your kids enrolled. They have a bazillion options for your child, and Megan and John are so NICE and helpful.
