I have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years and it never disappoints. The food is excellent and so is the service. Their crab rangoons are my absolute favorite!

Best Chinese food in Edwardsville! the lunch combo is a great deal and no matter what you get, it’ll be flavorful! I love to eat in, it’s cozy and the people working are always super friendly.

Really good food. The fried rice is amazing and I’ve had every kind they offer. They have good crab ragoon that aren’t sweet and taste like cream cheese in a good way. Ask for their homemade spicy mustard or they won’t give it out. It is incredibly spicy but so good. Also recommend general tso and hunan chicken.

I was impressed the first time I tried this place, and I’m still impressed after multiple visits. It’s not necessarily “cheap” Chinese takeout like you can order from some of these other strip mall places, but it also doesn’t taste like cheap Chinese takeout. Under $40 for a couple is well worth it for the quality!

Food is your typical indulgent Chinese food in all the right ways. Servings are generous, the price is right, and they're always consistent

Very authentic place. Bought family dinner with two other bros and it was so much food. Hunan Pork, sweet and sour chicken, szechuan beef, they were all excellent. Wonderful small hole on the wall place. Will be back for sure.

The Orient is a delightful little Chinese restaurant In the Montclair Shopping Center in Edwardsville on Troy Rd. It’s clean, their food is delicious and the service is great! Fen is their main server throughout each day and she is very sweet and aims to please. They have an excellent menu and the food is always served hot. Their Lunch Specials come with a choice of 3 different oriental soups, the main dish is served with white or fried rice, and you get a choice of 2 Crab Rangoons or 1 Egg Roll. Or you can order what ever you like on the menu! I’ve been going there for decades and have never been disappointed! FYI, They are closed on Tuesday.

The food here was delicious! The service was eh, and the attitude was poor, but for take out, who cares. It's pricey, but so worth it. The crispy chicken was bomb! The crab rangoon was super delicious as well. Best Chinese in Edwardsville.

Fantastic Chinese food! Absolutely the best egg rolls. Have eaten in and had take out,food always hot and tasty!

A family favorite. Good quality meat and veggies. Our fav dishes are honey chicken, sesame chicken, General Tsos and the Lo Mein noodles. Staff is kind and helpful. While prices have increased here, it is not an abnormal increase for our area or ant different than other restaurants. Im willing to pay when my family enjoys it and the quality is good. We will keep coming back!

Love the food here. The portion sizes are huge and there are so many options. The menu is very easy to understand and spicy options are labeled for convenience. There are so much different fried rice varieties for every palate! The crab rangoon and egg roll are both standouts, along with the beef skewers! It’s small on the inside, but this has never been an issue when we eat in! It’s also easy to order for pick up or delivery.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. The prices and service are great. A little over a year ago I saw them hand making crabragoons at a table (with Covid they can’t do that in front of customers).They have great family dinner specials. I’m never disappointed when I eat there.

Food and service was excellent. I had sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and crab rangoon. Of course that is what I usually get. Only down fall is the size of the eating area. Great place to eat, no large parties please. My wife had vegetable fried rice. That was also very good.

I would die for this restaurant. They work super hard back there and deserve a lot more respect. There pretty quick with getting the food out for how little workers they have and for how many people go there. The food is so good idc how long the wait is!!

Very good food. Best crab Rangoon I have had in a long time. Be patient if calling for delivery. Lots of good food. Thee dinners will last for at least 2 or three left over meals. Very good reheated.

I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good and cheap place to eat out. The food is very good, comes out quickly, and they have a large selection to choose from. Along with that, the tea that they serve is excellent, really recommend it if you enjoy tea.
