Visited the downtown Mobile Al Firehouse. A great experience and very enjoyable conversations with some of the rescue crew. A major part of the history of Mobile.

Absolutely terrible experience with EMT's. Got into an accident with a Semi Truck on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023. Upon EMT's arrival, we were treated terribly.
We were threatened multiple times by EMT's who told us they would be leaving us at the scene if we did not hurry up. We were moving from New Mexico to Florida so our entire lives were in the car, and the crash threw everything in the trunk all over the grass.
I am 23 years old, and the EMT's were on the phone with my mom, and I had asked to talk to her. One EMT told me that I was a grown woman and did not need my mom to tell me what to do. A select few were getting visibly upset with me for repeating myself , being as I was in shock, repeating oneself is quite common.
My head/neck were never restrained & stabilized, and I couldnt stand without crying from the pain, and almost passing out. They would not allow my significant other in the back of the ambulance with me, they made her sit in the front, even though she was involved in the accident as well.
We were stranded in Mobile, Alabama for 2 more days after the accident, and recieved little to no care, compassion , or empathy at all during the duration. I will be avoiding Alabama like the plague from here on out. The most ridiculously non caring, disrespectful people I have ever had the jot of meeting. I will be filing a formal complaint as well.

Mobile Alabama needs to do better
