Jack's Place Bistro

Jack’s place is the best spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner! I love the food and atmosphere, and have been trying my way through the menu. The spaghetti and meatballs, brisket nachos, and flatbreads are delicious. They also offer cocktails that are named after some of the movies he has worked on as a food stylist. They were out of the house-made margarita mixes when I was there last (they must be delicious!), but I tried the Lady in Red and it was great. I can’t wait to go back!

My new favorite place! Excellent food, great service, a good bar that serves one of my favorite wines that I used to drink in Washington state. Amazing Tiki Marsala for my first meal, and I can’t wait to eat through the menu.

Came here because we had a bad experience at Big Bad breakfast and let's just say five stars isn't enough. This place is wonderful and delicious! Great service 10/10! The food is beyond delicious. Definitely the place to be!

If you get tired of waiting in line at BBB, then walk around the corner and give this restaurant a try! We enjoyed our Saturday morning brunch at Jack's Place.

We have eaten here several times. Dinner and brunch. Everytime we come it is a wonderful experience. The food is always flavorful and cooked perfectly. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. The prices are very reasonable for the type of food you get.

I finally got back to Jack’s, and it did not disappoint! Our waiter was an awesome guy. My cocktail - the Burlesque - a French 75 - was perfect. So was the second one. 😎 I’m so dang proud of the venues and options in our Florence. Jack’s Place Bistro is a true gem. The hubs had “the best burger I’ve ever had in my life” experience, and he’s eaten a lot of burgers, y’all. I had the panko chicken sandwich and it was just musical. We would have had the pimiento cheese wontons, but someone just ahead of us got the last order. Verdict? It’s all fresh and not frozen. We’ll be back, Jack’s!

If I could rate Jack’s Place more than 5 stars, I would (and I consider myself harder to please than the average customer).

As a Muscle Shoals native who has since moved out of state, I was anxious to try a newer local business with my family. None of us (including those who are still local) had been to Jack’s Place Bistro, so we went solely based on Google reviews and viewing the online menu. There were six of us, ranging from 3 years old to 79 years old.

Here’s what each of us ordered and what we thought… First, we started with the Pork Rind Basket (mostly because I was so hungry and my gluten allergy limits my appetizer options), and let me tell you… BEST pork rinds I’ve ever eaten. And the jalapeño ranch? I could have drank a cup of that stuff. Although we questioned the $2/person price tag, we ordered the Bread Basket for the table; it comes with three different types of bread, all distinctly different than the next. The zucchini bread is dessert worthy and has a similar taste to a quality carrot cake. There isn’t a designated kid’s menu, but the staff was happy to cater to our needs. My 3 year old had the five cheese flatbread. I wasn’t convinced she would like it because I thought it might be too advanced for her palate, but she loved it (and ate over half of it on her own)! I ordered the Tikka Masala spicy and had zero complaints, although I think the mild version wouldn’t have satisfied my need for heat. My mom and aunt shared the Pork Tenderloin Medallions. They loved the glaze on top and the sides consisting of broccoli and potatoes. Their only critique was that the core of the tenderloins had become a bit dry. My uncle had the Sautéed Chicken & Veggies and his plate looked so good. He loves spicy food, but can’t satisfy that need since having surgery. He said that his meal was very flavorful. My grandmother didn’t order a meal, but enjoyed sampling everyone else’s dinner choices.

The atmosphere was 10/10 and Jack himself even delivered the food to our table. It really made the “send my compliments to the chef” a simple task. I cannot recommend Jack’s Place enough. I will definitely be returning each time I visit the Shoals.

I had a garden salad with homemade spicy ranch But that bread basket with that homemade spread was SOOOO delicious

Drive out of your way, make a special trip, it is worth it! Everything is made from scratch and delicious. Bread Basket was incredible and the food did not disappoint. I rarely send people without a recommendation but I would try anything. Our server was even better. We really enjoyed the small outdoor area.

Amazing service. Very attentive and since we arrived a bit before noon he couldn't serve us any alcohol but at noon he returned and quietly interrupted to ask what type of drink we'd prefer. Meal was, as always, perfect. Great brunch menu only served on Sundays but worth the wait.

Friends took me there for a birthday brunch this weekend. The service was excellent The food was very good. I had the Atlantic Benedict which was quite nice and very filling. One of my friends had the scramble which was an excellent choice also. This is a great place for late morning brunch

Our new favorite in Florence. The highest quality food I've found in the Shoals, with a quant and comfortable ambiance. Will go over and over again. The staff is very attentive and pleasant as well.

First of all, I love the atmosphere. It is a shotgun style layout with a bar tucked into the front and tables lined up to the rear. The stamped tin tile ceiling is dotted with recessed lighting and beautiful whimsical art is displayed across the walls. The playlist is all my favorites, as I am of a certain age.
Now for THE FOOD. Short story: so good, and lots of it.
Longer story: The Nashville hot chicken sandwich: 1 My husband: 0. The man still needs to figure out his limits! The sandwich is indeed hot, but super flavorful. The chips are house made, ridged and crunchy and delicious.
The Trio appetizer had hummus, a black bean dip, and tapenade, all so good. And the chicken tikka masala over wild rice was delicious as well. The chicken was shredded and so savory. Our server played both hostess and server and had lots of tables but she kept our glasses filled. Thank you for a lovely dinner!

Such a great place! Such great people. We had the Buffalo chicken salad and it was so good! We were there for brunch and saw a table with the eggs Benedict...OMG! We will be going back to try it!

I had a reservation on Valentine's Day with a group of my friends at Jack's Place and everything was so wonderful! Their staff was so accommodating and the food was delicious! Nothing bad to say at all. Hope was our server and she handled everything with ease and professionalism and was so friendly. :) Can't wait to go back!

Such a cozy and well-put-together restaurant. I was blessed with the privilege of touring the kitchen, which was extremely clean and organized. That is a great indication of the quality of the food, the service, and the maintenance of the establishment. I would visit this restaurant any day with a menu as impressive as theirs. To top it all off, they are partnered with Waitr, a renowned restaurant delivery service who recently launched a new market in the Shoals area. So you can have your amazing food delivered to the comfort of your home!

Service is excellent, food is astounding, atmosphere is five star! This is the one restaurant we go to most of the time, can't imagine going anyplace else for a nice dinner. Love Jack and his people!
