I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here on Small Business Saturday with my Step Mom. I ordered a skillet and loved all the flavors. Our server was friendly, and attentive the entire time. This restaurant is charming and has all the small-town feels. I look forward to coming back to trying something else off their menu!

This hidden little gem in downtown Oswego has all you can want to get your day started!

I asked, " Tell me about the stuffed hashbrowns?" Once Candy started to tell me about them, I ordered the Country Fried Steak stuffed hashbrowns before she could finish. Ya'll - they put it + veggies and cheese in the middle of your hash!
Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen, and you can taste it - especially the biscuits and gravy!
Also, there is no feeling like Mr. Pink in here- I must have had my coffee filled 6-7 times by multiple staff members.
A quaint little spot where we felt like family, and we will definitely be back.

Been coming here for 25 years, since my daughter was 2. We were always greeted with head nod by Nick :) Always Great food! My daughter practically grew up with the best waitress Jackie, serving us for years! Love love love this little gem!

The food is the absolute best. I've sat down and ate here for breakfast and it's just such a great environment. This weekend I ordered a gyro sandwich to go because I was in a training. They called me when it was ready so I didn't have to wait. And it was the absolute best meal ever. 10/10

The food was spectacular! 3 of us got breakfast (do NOT miss out on those cheesy grits, friends!) and my husband got the Reuben. We were all extremely satisfied with the quality of food and the quantity was nothing short of belly busting! The true gem here was our server, Jen. I have had good service many times but have never felt the need to review a place solely because of the attention and personality of a server before. She was absolutely amazing! We were traveling in from out of town and can't wait to have to return so we can visit again. A couple notes just for reference: they are cash only and if you are planning on getting one of the highly touted cinnamon rolls you should arrive earlier rather than later like I did. 😉

Came here for brunch with some friends on a Sunday. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Price was also super reasonable. I got the wolf skillet and it was so much food I could only finish about half of it. Cash only though FYI.

This was an amazing restraunt. My husband and I and a few other friends came in while traveling in Illinois and they were so hospitable and caring. The food was phenomenal (must try the cinnamon roll), coffee was flowing freely, and the service was impeccable. I can’t wait to go back and visit but I definitely recommend anyone stopping in to try it!

I can't believe I never tried this place until last week. The food was amazing! They have the best grits I have ever had. Better than New Orleans grits. Highly impressed. Service was also amazing! I will definitely be back.

Small town diner that is obviously very popular. It was packed on the morning we visited. The food was delicious, and the two servers working that morning were doing their best to keep up with everything. Coffee cups remained filled, as did our water glasses. Definitely worth a visit!

Pretty good Blueberry Sensation Pancakes, nice and warm compote. The hot chocolate had to many marshmallows inside and out for my liking but reasonably priced food and they only accept cash. My son got the Mickey Mouse Pancakes with milk for $5. Very friendly staff and I saw them cleaning every time someone left a table and they are wearing masks.

Been eating here for years and the service and the food is consistently good. Breakfast or lunch is wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

Family owned and run cafe that has great food and service. We've been going here for many years and have liked everything. The chocolate milk for kids comes with whipped cream and a cherry. I had the Octoberfest breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 links, (one smoked and one brat) and the German potato pancakes, with baked apples for desert. It was very good and filling.

This is a neighborhood diner that's been around for several years. You cannot go wrong with anything. All are consistently yummy & definitely not stingy and have always served large portions. A definite gem of Oswego.

The best diner around no question. I take my family there everyday Saturday morning and sometimes Sunday too for breakfast. The best waitresses as well.

We were looking for a good family restaurant with a nostalgic atmosphere and found it here. Prices were good, portions were plenty, and the staff were welcoming.

This is DEFINITELY a local gem and I enjoy dining here. I have only dined a few times for breakfast and their breakfast specials NEVER disappoint. Smoke sausage is fresh with great flavor along with their shrimp/grits which is packed with flavor. Staff is kind and welcoming - I can't wait to go back

Had a good experience! I got the Irish Breakfast, which is corned beef hash with hashbrowns, eggs, peppers, onions, and a side of pancakes!! I didn't even know it came with pancakes, so it was a happy surprise. :D
The waitress was super friendly, and service was super prompt. The only complaint I have is my hashbrowns were a little under-done, but they were still fine.
Definitely recommend if you carry cash and want breakfast around here!
