Detroit On The Rocks was incredible. Everything we could have ever wanted and we cannot begin to thank them enough for helping make our wedding night so great. Jeff was extremely responsive, kind, and professional throughout the process. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and he never batted an eye and was always supportive.

The night of the wedding the bartenders brought the energy, were fun, attentive, and everyone raved about the cocktails. They truly made everything easy on us and for that we are forever grateful!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We hired Detroit On the Rocks for our backyard wedding reception and could not be happier with our decision! Jeff was so great to work with and made the planning feel effortless and easy while still paying great attention to detail and delivering high quality service. We worked with Detroit on The Rocks for our wedding, and specifically Jeff. The service throughout the night was very good, and we got a lot of compliments on it the next day and throughout the night. Jeff was also very thorough leading up to our wedding day, and was quick to respond and work with us on our specialty drinks and some other ideas we were cooking up for the reception.

Jeff and his team did an awesome job for our wedding. Brenda was one of the most personable people I have ever met and she was a great addition to have at our wedding to talk with guests at the bar. We had a few issues where we had run out of alcohol but the team stepped up to replenish stock and keep the drinks flowing. There was rarely a line except for when cocktail hour had first started. Was very pleased with the team's service throughout the whole wedding. Everyone loved our signature drinks: Whiskey Sour & Blueberry Mojito, which came recommended by Jeff.

Detroit on the Rocks recently cater our wedding a few days ago, and our guest raved about their friendly and fast service. Jeff (owner) was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day. I would book them over and over again. You cannot go wrong with Detroit on the Rocks!

Jeff and his team were outstanding! Jeff was extremely responsive with all my questions months leading up to our wedding. On the day of, they rocked it! The signature drinks were amazing! His team was professional, friendly, and a lot of fun! We forgot to get champagne flutes for the wedding party, and they ran and got some for us too. I cannot recommend Detroit On The Rocks enough! I guess we will have to have another party so we can hire them again.

Jeff and his team at Detroit on the Rocks are amazing! Ebony and Kendra did an OUTSTANDING job servicing our event. We hosted a wide range of high-profile guests at our event and I received SO MANY compliments on the friendliness, professionalism, and general niceness of Ebony and Kendra. I truly have never received that many compliments about service at an event like that before. Detroit on the Rocks generally was very easy to work with and super helpful. I'd recommend them a thousand times over!

To give some background, my fiancé and I were planning our wedding from out of state in a completely different time zone. Jeff was incredibly patient and understanding of our circumstance.

We went with Detroit on the Rocks because we wanted flexible/accommodating but stress free wedding. Two things I sometimes feel are mutually exclusive, but Jeff made the impossible possible.

Jeff walked us through the different options. We had the option of purchasing our own alcohol with their team to serve but he also gave us the option to purchase the alcohol for us. We personally went with the latter because this meant less planning on our end. This also allowed us to return any unopened alcohol, and all open alcohol was for us to keep. Jeff provided a very detailed list of exactly what alcohol and how much he was going to purchase. This was so helpful because my fiancé and I don’t really drink, so we’re so grateful Jeff provided clear direction/guidance! He let us make changes to the list as well.

We had kids at our wedding, and we reached out to Jeff to see how we can accommodate non alcoholic drinks. He allowed us to bring in our own non alcoholic drinks to accommodate the kids. It was a hit not only with the kids but with the parents as well because they appreciated the thoughtfulness. Jeff’s team even brought a nice container to put the juice boxes on ice!

Jeff’s team made sure everyone was very well hydrated at the wedding. People were able to get their drinks quickly, and everything tasted great.

Jeff and his team are so wonderful to work with! Detroit on the Rocks bartended for our intimate post ceremony dinner with our immediate families last year, and we booked them again for our large reception this year. Chelsea and Mark went so above and beyond last year and handled everything so beautifully. They were organized, professional, fun and so helpful! The bar was a hit. Jeff is always very responsive and has been so great to work with. He makes all the planning and coordination a breeze and has a lot of helpful advice for logistics and flow. Had a fantastic experience for my son’s wedding! Jeff was easy to work with and very responsive. We made.some changes to the order and scheduling and he was very accommodating. Servers were awesome and did a great job. Highly recommend!!

Detroit on the Rocks exceeded our expectations last night! The staff supported our Grand Opening Event and completely rocked it. Excellent customer service and kept such a tidy work environment. Detroit on the Rocks was hired as the bar service for my wedding Sep. 25th 2021! The attentiveness of the staff and their pride in all the small details really set them above the bar! Sharon and Dan made all of my guest feel special! They had to leave to get more stock, but were never behind or stressed, no one would have known! Sharon made me feel like a Queen with all of her kind words! She kept checking in on me to make sure I was having a good time and made sure my cup was never empty! I cannot recommend this company enough! If anyone is looking for great, affordable and personalized bar service, Jeff is definitely the person to call!!

We hired Detroit on the Rocks for my wedding (10/23/2021) and they were incredible. They helped with set up and break down, as well as bar services. Jeff was great to work with and ensured that everything went smoothly!

During wedding planning, my now-husband and I came across Detroit on the Rocks as a referral from our caterer, and I’m so grateful. Neither of us really drink alcohol, so we felt pretty clueless about the process. Jeff did an incredible job putting together a package that would be unique to us, appealing to our guests, and budget-friendly. He was easy to talk to and had so many great ideas to make everything fun and easy.

Going through with a COVID wedding was stressful in a lot of ways, but Jeff and his team went above and beyond to make our guests feel comfortable and also have a good time celebrating. We originally had a self-serve flavored water and mocktail station planned, and they were happy to put everything behind the bar to make it safer. They even planned a hot and cold coffee bar everyone raved about. Many of the guests complimented how professional, friendly, and fun the bartenders were. Part of our reception included salsa lessons, and between serving, the bartenders were doing the moves along with the guests!

I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Detroit on the Rocks again for future events. Their professionalism, creativity, and fun attitudes were a memorable part of our wedding, and most importantly, they helped our guests to have a great time!

My family and I have used Jeff and his team for multiple events now and are happy repeat customers. The latest event was our wedding, which they did a stellar job at. I think they had just as much fun as we did as the team was always happy and having a good time. We also accidentally overpaid and they were the ones who noticed, reached out and refunded us right away. I could not recommend them enough, they are great to work with in every way!

The Detroit on The Rocks team was absolutely wonderful for our wedding day! They were on time and very professional. Our guests had no complaints and enjoyed the staff! They made sure no one went thirsty and made our day perfect!

The bartenders were great from start to finish! We were worried that there would constantly be a line at the bar and, although there was, it moved quickly! We did an open bar and didn’t seem to have any issues. According to our guests, they didn’t cheap anyone out on their drink orders which is always good. Note, our wedding was 21+, which makes things easy.
Detroit on the Rocks brought all the mixers, straws, garnishes, and cute add-on’s. We supplied our own alcohol, but they can provide it if desired. Be sure to confirm what size bottles you need because they bring and attach the pour spouts.
The only downside is that we purchased 200 3.5" x 3.5" circle “Please don’t take my drink I’m dancing” coasters and they didn’t fit the cups. Point is, that was the worst of it, so we can’t complain!
