How have I been missing out on this place for so long? Best crab cake in the area; most tender, buttery steak; the crawfish bread appetizer special was cheesy and rich and so unique! There isn't a single thing that we ordered that wasn’t amazing. I was scraping everything clean off my plate so I wouldn’t miss a morsel. I look forward my next visit

The Best date spot or if you are wanting to impress an out of town guest. You will not be disappointed in anyway. The food is amazing everytime I go.

Ok. This is the place to eat. As soon as you walk through the front door you can tell the food is going to be amazing and made with love. Eating here is the destination. I had the fresh cooked Tomato pie. It tasted absolutely fresh and it was probably grown in the garden. This is the place I would drive 3 hours to eat. Check out the pictures

Got the brisket sandwich and cornbread casserole. Both were outstanding! You need to know the lunch menu and evening menu are completely different.

Had the best meal tonight at Rays at the Bank. We had Crab cakes and the absolute best Prime Rib I have ever had. The atmosphere with the live music and great service was fantastic. This is truly a gem in Florence, we will definitely be back and I highly recommend the prime rib.

Ray’s at the Bank is always delicious (especially the oysters, shrimp cocktail, rib-eye, and bread pudding!), but specifically we had our wedding reception there and the food was such a huge hit. Having good food at our wedding was our number one priority and Katrina really went above and beyond to make the midcentury vision come to life. Ray’s has such a good vibe inside and the staff is always friendly as well. We live in Huntsville but we try to eat lunch or dinner there every time we come to town and can not recommend it enough to anyone looking for a great meal in the Shoals.

Great food, great atmosphere, great people work there. Excellent service, a real treat to eat at such a cool and historic place. My favorite is the Filet.

Heard about this amazing restaurant and decided that we had to make the trip from Birmingham to Florence to taste for ourselves. We went for my birthday (9/07) and stayed for 2 days. I can honestly tell everyone reading this I was absolutely in food heaven. There was not a single dish from the Oysters Rockefeller appetizer, then the mouth watering blue cheese (cooked perfectly) filet, grilled asparagus oops! I forgot the Ceasar salad and finally!! The most beautiful delicious (can't find the words) amaretto white chocolate cheese cake! Katrina (the owner and chef) will not server anything that isn't fresh and prepared by herself and the amazing kitchen staff.
Our server was Maggie and she was just wonderful. In fact all the servers were! Talk about team work. Oh! lets not forget Barrett the king of White Russians (sorry again about the half and half). If you get within 200 miles from this place you HAVE TO STOP!

Excellent all the way around! The chef is extraordinaire! The staff is above and beyond. Shhhh don't tell everyone as it is a quiet quaint gem tucked away off the beaten path!

This is a really nice place in a very very small town. Florence is a small town that is finding its place on the map. The food was very good, with selections you would find at a New York City bistro. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. This is a great indication that their kitchen is too.

Best burger I've had in years. And the salmon sandwich had a roumalade to die for. The big surprise was the cornbread salad. What a treat all around! We purchased the smoked gouda pimento cheese to go. Oh my! A quart may not make it through the week.

I don't have enough words to describe how Delicious it was,eveything was cooked perfectly. I told the waitress to tell miss Katrina the chef that I pray and hope food in heaven tastes like this.

This was our first time eating at Ray’s on the Bank and what a wonderful dining experience it was. Everything was perfect; the food, the service, the atmosphere. We will definitely be eating there again.

Amazing food! The southern pecan bread pudding is probably the best dessert I've ever eaten.

This place amazes me every time. My favorite restaurant in the greater Shoals area. We love the sauteed crab claws. The prime rib is the best I've ever had. This is also a great place for fresh seafood. The butter cake is amazing. The staff have always been very courteous and helpful 10 out of 10.

If you and your love one looking for a place to relax, and eat Great food. Ray at the Bank is your place. David has always taken great care of my wife and me.. Best Restaurant in the Shoals!!!

My son and daughter and their families--11 of us--ate lunch at Ray's on Saturday before Mother's Day. Their service was fantastic, and we all loved the food. I got the salad trio. The smoked gouda pimento cheese and cornbread salad were the best I've had, but the dessert: butter cake. It was perfect. I'll definitely go back for more!

Great restaurant in an interesting part of town. If you go, it probably won't be quite what you expect, but the food is outstanding. The atmosphere is gritty and historic and on Saturday nights they have a musician that plays for tips. I have always thought there needed to be a high scale restaurant on this side of the river to compete with George's in Tuscumbia, and this place has a chance to do that. Service was outstanding. Only complaint was food was a little late coming out, but by the time you finish appetizers and soup you aren't very hungry. You HAVE to try the French Onion Soup.

We love this place. It is a bit pricey but the food and the atmosphere is well worth the price. We love raw oysters and only knew of one other place that had oysters so we found this place based on trying to get oysters and so glad we found this place. Be careful ordering drinks here though, margaritas are expensive and they’re very small compared to other places, you’ll have $60 in drinks very easily before you even know it. Servers have always been exceptional when we’ve been and the food has always been phenomenal!!
