La Fonda Mexican Restaurant

I enjoyed this restaurant! The atmosphere was very quaint and inviting, the food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely go back over and over!

Wow, this restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside! The staff was amazing and very attentive. The food...oh, it was absolutely delicious! Our family of 5 had carnitas, fajita burritos and enchiladas and everything was so good! We plan to stop here again next time we are in town. I forgot to take any pictures but trust me, it's very good.

I usually get the veggie or shrimp chimichanga here, but I am reviewing to praise and recommend the Shrimp Fajita Nachos dish. It’s a very balanced and tasty platter. The service is also good and drink and chip refills are quick. 🍤🌮

La Fonda is the best Mexican in Edwardsville. We were seated outside the kitchen. Normally not happy about that however it gave me an opportunity to see how clean the kitchen was even on a busy Saturday night. The place was packed people running in and out of the kitchen still it looked tidy and clean. Love Lafonda !

We may have a new favorite Mexican place, when in this area. The chips and salsa are exactly what we like and the carne asada tacos were Soo good I highly recommend them. Atmosphere as well as the service was awesome.

This place is so good!! Definitely recommend! The food is fresh and tasty. Great customer service and there is plenty to choose from the menu. We got Carne Asada tacos and mexican guacamole. If we ever come back to the area we will be back for grub at La Fonda!

My husband and I have been desperately trying to find a quality, authentic Mexican restaurant and this is it. The food is not only top notch, but the restaurant itself made me extremely nostalgic. I cannnot wait to make La Fonda a weekly experience.

Lunch, party of 6. Burritos, tortas, fajitas, everything was good. Generous portions. Prices very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Food is always good, quick service, and honestly the best Mexican cuisine in the area (Collinsville, Edwardsville, Maryville, Troy, Glen Carbon, etc.).

Possibly The best Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted. Finally a place that doesn't water down their culture because it brings people's tongues.

I tried this restaurant out for the first time on Monday. The food was great and so were the drinks. The service was fast. The place was also pretty clean (even the restrooms)! I will be back for sure.

Best Mexican in town. You will get your food before your chips are done. Friendly staff and great food. Can't beat the margarita specials. We usually get pollo sinaloa and La Fonda tacos. Regulars since they opened.

This place was an AMAZING gem to find. Very authentic experience. They speak to you in both English AND Spanish. All while making the experience fun. Our kids loved it here. The food is amazing and incredibly delicious. The burritos are gigantic. I'm a big man and could only finish half! The doctor of the place is amazing as well. It looks as if your in a villa! There are beautiful paintings and sculptures on every wall as well. We WILL be coming back!

Huge green flags everywhere, the menu looks has, food is hot and flavorful, drinks are v tasty and the chips are warm when you get em. Place looks really cool inside and they moved up our reservation for 18 ppl when our friend set it like 2 hours late. Cool place :)

Had a wonderful dinner experience here. I had a very kind young man greet me and promptly seat me. I ordered the enchiladas yolandas. It comes with 3 different kinds of enchiladas, a cheese, beef and chicken. A lot of Mexican places have dry chicken and dry rice, but both were delicious and moist. I will be returning here when I am in town!
