Moraine View Restaurant & Kayak rental

Fun little restaurant on the lake with great views. We had a Chicago Style hot dog and a bacon quesadilla. Both were good size and priced reasonably.

Small restaurant with great food and a view of the lake! I had the loaded avocado toast and it was very pretty and tasty.

It's beautiful here! The food is amazing too! The Kayak rental process was informative and helpful in keeping us safe. Also Enrique is very friendly and even helped with the kayak lauch.

Slow service, but staff is friendly and food is decent.

The food was better than expected! The burgers were char grilled and buns were toasted. Onion rings were delicious.

The food is on point every time we have gone there! The staff is wonderful and very helpful with any and all questions! Absolutely love this place for a nice little get away for a date or with kids and family!

It was my first time and I loved it. Their deluxe grilled cheese was scrumptious. And you can't beat the view off the patio!! Clean, friendly, and fast. Definitely going back!

We love to visit the Moraine View Restaurant! Denise and Enrique are wonderful hosts and chefs. The food is great, we love the great grilled ham sandwich! Well worth the 15 minutes drive from Bloomington.

What a fantastic location! We went down there during a road trip through Illinois and could not have had a better experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff were fully attentive and made us feel completely at home. Denise and Enrique treated us like we were one of the family! We both had burgers and they were amazing! Highly, HIGHLY recommend anyone in the area stopping by for a great meal, and wonderful memories!

The food was typical, the service was excellent. We kayaked for two hours, it was a first for some of us and the young man behind the desk was so helpful and patient.

Really excellent for a State Park Restaraunt. I'm use to not having any option like this at a State Park. Friendly workers, wireless notification for "foods ready". Dine in or outside next to the lake.

Nice facility at the park. Kayaks we're good quality for rentals, plenty of options. Life vests were in very good shape and had ones small enough for 3 year old.

Stopped by for lunch afterwards and had a pleasant meal. We had a couple sandwiches, a burrito and some onion rings. Everything was good and eating out on the patio was really enjoyable. Finished off with a sundae for $3 which was a steal. Staff was very friendly, look forward to going back.

One of, if not the best, breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. The biscuits and gravy were excellent as well. If this restaurant were located in a town or city there would be a line out the door. I’m a local but if I found this restaurant at a campground I’d be overjoyed! I’ve stayed at close to 100 campgrounds in North America and I’ve never had food this good.

Super friendly people who work at this restaurant! We have rented a paddle boat for the first time. It sure was an interesting 1st time experience renting one for us to try since we never done it before but however when it comes to signing up, renting, and so forth.. the customer service was awesome! The food has been great everytime I been there!

I took a morning walk around the lake which is almost 4 miles followed by a fantastic breakfast! 2 eggs, ham, wheat toast, a side of fruit and the best coffee! Very worth the drive! I will definitely be back!

Lovely place for food after renting a kayak. They have a good menu. Renting a kayak was easy but as our rental period ended there seemed to be a lot of people coming so I’d maybe make reservations online.
