I haven’t seen Kurt in over ten years when I had my VW Passat, and I’m so glad to see he’s still in business. I miss him terribly. If I ever buy another German car, he is my mechanic of choice. I loved working with Kurt because he’s communicative and honest. As a single woman at the time, I trusted him completely and he always dignified me. I have the utmost respect for the man and his work ethic/experience.

Kurt is a superior mechanic with numerous years of experience. He has done fantastic work on my Porsches and also offered invaluable advice. It is so rare to find someone so talented and just interesting to talk with. I highly recommend Kurt's German Autowerks.

Kurt is a great and honest mechanic, really knowledgeable in his field. After he had checked transmission on my '06 Audi I've got detailed explanation what was going on over there, what are my options and approximately how much it can cost.
After couple of days I got a call from him with a different price ... lower than I was willing to pay! :-) He found some used transmission for me for a great price with a full 1 year warranty (parts and labour).
If you have any problems with your Audi and don't want to spend tons of many to the dealership, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

Several years back, on the way home from a dealer service, the timing belt in my 2001 Audi A4 broke, causing the car's interference-type engine to seize. Desperate to avoid having to pay for the cost of a new or rebuilt motor through the dealer, I was fortunate to find Kurt's German Autowerks through a online search. Speaking with Kurt on the telephone immediately put me at ease, and before I knew it, my car was returned to me performing better than ever, with a repair bill close to half of what the dealer had quoted.

I am now a customer for life. Even though Kurt's German Autowerks is a good hour's drive from where I live in the city, I continue to bring my German vehicles to Kurt for regular maintenance and service. First with my A4, then with my Audi B7 S4, and now with my Porsche 997 911, I know that Kurt will perform the work to a level that even an extremely particular customer like me will be satisfied with. Taking your Audi or Porsche to Kurt's German Autowerks really is better than taking it to the dealer.

Kurt is truly an expert at what he does, but he's more than just a mechanic—he's an enthusiast, a racer, and an all around good guy, and I won't trust my cars to anyone but him now.

Kurt restored the engine of my 30 year old Porsche which hadn't run in years. The engine really feels like new thanks to Kurt's painstaking efforts. He will doing all the work on this car in the future.

This guy is a LIFE-SAVER :)) I brought my 2005 Audi A-4 , 3.0, CVT trans , for all the Trouble codes with the trans. Previously a shop I took it to , told me that I need a new trans (CVT) about 8K ... After Kurt checked my car out, told me it might be TCM , and that he called Audi dealer for prices. He knew parts manager and service manager at that dealer. I am not surprised after working for over 30 years you have friends at the dealerships. He brought me the best news ever, that he spoke to he dealer and they told him that there is a lawsuit against Audi and CVT trans and it might be covered by warranty!!! We both were stoked, and after taking to the dealer , they told me it will be covered. Previously we took the to a different Audi dealer and they told us that it will be around 6-9k for a new trans( which was not even the case). Its not how much money you have , its who you know!!! Thanks Kurt!!
