love this bar every time we come to visit our daughter! Their cocktails are very creative and well balanced!

Really fabulous drinks & phenomenal service! We stopped in after the eclipse and had a great afternoon. Brandaun* the bartender was working alone with a full bar but he gave great, personable service and made some us excellent cocktails. Worst faucet I’ve ever used to wash my hands in the bathroom though.

Really nice spot on Mass Ave. Cocktail menu was traditional nothing special. Presentation was average but not underwhelming. Food menu isn't available gotta ask for it or find it online. I very much recommend the charcuterie and a negroni which isn't on the drink menu but the bar staff will make it, they're knowledgeable enough.

A hidden gem. Speakeasy type of bar. 3 highly skilled bartenders with knowledge and charm. The cocktail program is solid. The whiskey selection is awesome. The price is very reasonable. If you looking for a nice quiet place to hangout with great cocktails this is it. Street parking is no issue. The bar has two bars; main floor and basement. Highly recommended.

When I was in Indianapolis, I went cocktail hopping trying to find the best drink I could, and this place had it. I can be a real cocktail snob, and I have no notes for this place. I loved it enough I went a second night. The drinks are creative, the staff is incredibly attentive and kind, and the atmosphere is amazing. The Flannel Cure cocktail? *chef's kiss*

We really love coming to this bar, this is our go to hang out spot. All of staff is amazing and so friendly!! Leo is our favorite guy, but we really do love all of them!
We have been coming here for a couple years, we have looked for a manager the past couple of times to complement the staff on how well they do but there is never one there, just seems odd they have no manager on duty. We have noticed a change in management the past few times we have been in, it seems very different, I hope that this change does not effect the staff negatively because they are the reason we drive 45 minutes to come to this location. They make it worth it and are the reason we keep coming back and sending all of our friends here! With that being said If you are looking for a chill hang out spot with great staff I highly recommend this place!!

The great decor and atmosphere make this worth the higher price of the drinks. This location has two levels and there are very different vibes in the basement and upper level. Both are well decorated and fun environment.
This is really more of an experience than just a bar to hang out. The food menu is very limited and the drinks are very expensive so The best plan is to have one or two drinks here and then move on someplace else. That said it's definitely worth the stop.
The cocktail options are tasty and they have a long selection of whiskey, bourbon and scotch.
I recommend getting the executive old-fashioned just so you can experience the smoke dome.

For me, having a cocktail is all in the details. The exchange whiskey bar does a great job with that. The drinks were delicious and so good. If I was from the area, I would definitely make this a regular date night location. I loved that everyone working was a woman who were knowledgeable about the menu

The Exchange is one of my favorite places in Indy. Great bourbon selection, atmosphere is on point, and the service is incredible. We sat at the bar and Brandaun served us all evening. His knowledge of bourbon, mixology, and conversation really was exceptional.

Good wine and drinks. Great cocktail menu. Absolutely loved the low key and trendy atmosphere. Great service. Everything was so crowded for Thanksgiving eve, but it was very chill here. Found a great Indy spot and look forward to going back in the future!

Hello new favorite place to get a solid drink with a relaxed atmosphere! Despite the other negative reviews on here, we came in on a Wednesday at 6:45 or so and were greeted immediately upon entering. We were told to sit wherever and were waited on right after we picked a seat and continued to have attentive service. I had the magic carpet cocktail which was excellent. The drinks were ~craft and spirit forward. We really just found this place so we could get a drink before our dinner reservation and were really impressed. Will be spreading the word and taking others here..The seating is mostly couches and comfy chairs, but they do have a few tall tables and bar seating. The lighting is low, always something on the wall to look at and the ambiance is super nice. Seems they have a downstairs but it wasn’t open when I went. When we arrived there was only one other couple there but then started to fill up pretty quick after a half an hour. Come for a date, drinks with friends, a classy (hate this word but it fits lol) place to entertain the parents for a bit.. highly recommend, genuine 5 star from me.

Got into town late. Checked into our hotel amd wanted a cocktail. Found this place on Google so decided to check it out.

Got there right at last call and the Bartender let me rder two drinks. I ordered their old fashioned and let the Bartender choose my other drink.

He made me their strawberry rye cocktail. Both cocktails were great. Wish I had more time.

Atmosphere is AWESOME. The drinks are amazing. You have GOT to check it out for yourself. Great old fashioned, bourbons, mixed drinks, beer. Everything is just awesome.

Absolutely loved hanging out at The Exchange! The windows were open, our server, Savannah, was excellent, and the drinks were perfect!

Some of the best drinks I've had in Indy. Relaxed, upscale atmosphere and a Scotch menu that would make anyone happy. Bartenders also know their stuff... Going off menu led to even more amazing drinks! Highly recommend and I will be back.

They do have great other cocktails for non whiskey folks. Pictured is the seasonal "A Mistle Toast" with gin and it was delicious.

I was a little hesitant on coming here after reading a few reviews about pricing and service issues; however, my visit was great! Staff welcomed my wife and I and was attentive but not over bearing. Music was a little loud but not out of place. The whiskey offering did not disappoint and I enjoyed the drink "Don't tell lies in heaven" very much. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a whiskey neat but also with some depth.

I’ve heard such good things about this place from all of my whiskey/bourbon drinking friends, so I’m surprised it took me so long to finally come here. We stopped in while waiting for our table at another restaurant, so I didn’t have that much time here but I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere when you walk in is very lively. The music that’s playing, almost every song was a bop. The only thing that would’ve made this better is if I had a cigar in my hand.

So good. Warm, flavorful, smooth and you don’t taste the bourbon. The vanilla bitters are a nice touch as well!

That first sip is definitely going to hit you in the glands and make your mouth pucker. The citrus and bitters flavors mix really well with the bourbon.

Great place, I like to start my nights here with a group of four or less could have more but usually limited seating. The drinks are on point and the price is extremely good for the quality. The staff are awesome and helpful, I'll be back for sure every time I'm near Mass ave for the night.

I went for the bourbon stayed for some cocktails. Ryan and Jessica were fantastic. They took amazing care of me amd made some amazing cocktails. I will be going again soon.
