Dickey's Barbecue Pit

They were short staffed bit still served me as quickly as possible. Food was excellent as I remember from Joliet Illinois. Reccomend the three meat plate with both sausages and brisket. Grab two sides with that meal and a drink.

Very great food chicken was very tender and pulled pork was amazing. Severice was amazing. Happy whenever I come in there with my dad. Its one thing we both agree on. I was thinking of looking into getting a summer job there because od how positive everyone seems

Food was amazing. Fries were dropped when i got there for my pickup order the fry seasoning is delicious and the Mac and cheese was just perfect. Pulled pork was really good and so was the pulled pork sandwich. The staff was super friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed the barbeque rib plate and turkey sliders. Choice of barbeque sauces are "Original", "Sweet" and "Spicy."

The "Original" sauce has excellent zest without being overpowering. The "Sweet" sauce is a touch milder than the "Original" with a similar zest, but less heat. I did not try the "Spicy", but it smells like it has a bit more zip.

Friendly staff and a very clean dining area. Country and Western music fills the air in the background, quiet enough so you can hold a conversation, which is greatly appreciated.

Catering is available with no additional delivery charge.

One of the better franchise bbq places I've been to in the west side of MI. Got a kid's brisket meal which came with 2 cuts, a side, bread, sauce, and a small drink. Just enough for me ☺

Meat wasn't dry or overdone. Bread was a little too dense for my tastes though.

Excellent food,only rated it 4 cause not a lg. selection on drinks, other than that I highly recommend it By the way LARGE selection on sauces, very impressed

Really enjoyed my meal here recently. Arrived early just before the lunch crowd. Staff was friendly and took my order and prepared quickly. This was my first visit here and I went with the 1 meat, 2 side option. I was challenged to finish it all! Definitely found a new favorite place for green beans, they were amazing! Looking forward to returning and trying other options!

My Brisket Chili Frito Pie Stack was really good. The Fried Okra was great, as usual. Service was wonderful. Quick and friendly. Wasn't crowded, mask we're required. Always enjoy the atmosphere.

My lady and I decided to stop in here for our anniversary, a new experience for us both… the food was delicious and workers were super nice!

Went here over the weekend two young men working.no ice/no soda/no tea food was cold.I’ve never experienced this at this restaurant.always good food.

First time in the restaurant. The staff was very nice, the assistant manager took time to answer a few questions we had. He even gave me a different corn bread because mine fell apart when I opened it up. We will definitely go back.

This was my first time eating here. The pulled pork sandwich was great and the fresh cut fries were very good. Will definitely eat here again.

Got the meal of the day, pulled pork with baked beans and Mac and cheese and it was amazing. Staff was very helpful with explaining the menu and was very quick with the food. Will be going back. From someone that enjoys a very good southern cooking and BBQ I loved it. Thanks for the amazing food.

Wanted to say and kinda update my review. I am still very very happy with my time back. The food was amazing as I expected, staff is still amazing and very polite, service is fast, food is top notch. Thank you again for the amazing quality food and staff.

This dickeys is awesome!! We ordered a catering order from the Traverse City location; they suddenly closed down 2 weeks before our large order was supposed to be delivered. Rockford dickeys quickly took over the order while honoring the price and delivered it over 2 hours away with no additional costs. The food still so fresh and delicious. I would recommend this location to anyone!

A hidden Gem,

Worth the 20min drive from Grand Rapids. Quality food and exceptionally nice service. The staff is always friendly and the setting is spacious with large windows that bring in natural light. Best barbecue I have had in the area with Texan origins they have flavors that will satisfy any pallet. Spicy, sweet, or anything in between enjoy their ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. When you need meat come here. Sides are great and the roles are heavenly!

The staff at this location is always so very nice and helpful! Food is always on point and the building always looks so clean and inviting. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Nice family friendly place to pick up some BBQ. We do not live in Rockford but when we are in the area it's our go to place for great food.

They have the best BBQ Ribs I highly recommend them so much taster then Applebee's ribs. Service is excellent take out was what I've done 3 times now. They have a nice dine in area too. Price is great for full rack of Ribs. Tender fall apart ribs.
