Best onion rings in the county. Very quick service. If you're heading north on East beltline stop over there they're off of 10 mile.

Visiting a friend in Grand Rapids Michigan, he insisted on taking me out to Rockford to visit Jody's for their infamous strawberry shortcake.. and the restaurant didn't disappoint!
There were plenty of down-home favorites on the menu, reasonably priced, but we decided to go right for dessert........ The Strawberry and Raspberry Shortcakes have each won awards-- and now I know why! Absolutely delicious, with plenty of ice cream, fresh cake, and diced strawberries, it was the perfect replacement for dinner!

When in town -- or just want to support a Family-Owned Local Place-- stop by this delightful Home Style restaurant- there's something amazing for everyone.

Ate here a few times. The food is always good and is just what I needed for the evening after a long day. Would highly recommend eating here over the competitor nearby.

The Harvest Salad is a perfectly balanced blend of fruits, veggies, nuts, meat, cheese. Along with the Raspberry Vineragette dressing. I have ordered it a few times and it is consistently superb!

My go to when I teach drivers ed in Rockford for a quick lunch on the weekends. Recommend the burgers and chicken sandwich.

The food is good. Employees are friendly. You do have to put your trash and dishes in the according receptacles, but it's nice to use real dishes and silverware. The owner is always around helping out. Comfortable casual atmosphere.

What a wonderful little gem Rockford is lucky to have. Being my first time here I didn't know the menu, a very nice young man behind the counter greeted us. He was knowledgeable about the menu and questions I had about substitutes. The restaurant was clean and the food was tasty and reminded my husband and I of what good dinner food use to taste like. I had the chicken sandwich, onion rings made with light tasty batter. My husband had burger an fries and a we shared a warm delicious homemade gooey chocolate chip cookie. We live in Grand Rapids but we will definitely be back.

Fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce & onions. Burgers can be a bit sloppy, not that it's a negative. Chili dogs are deluxe & very good. Superb onion rings. Thick crisp fries. Everything we've had is made to order. They are detail oriented, seldom any mistakes, never a disaster or let down. Love the white fried chicken. Try the wet burrito! Wife & I get it routinely, I bet they would make pretty good tacos. Drive thru is worth wait. Indoor is nice, love the booths. 13 min drive or we're in Rockford for other reasons. Hopefully they extend their hours beyond 8pm in the future. Dual drive thru waiting lane when busy.

Best quality of food vs. cost that I know! Took mom there, and she had BLT, I had fried Chicken. After we split the strawberry shortcake. (Made with there version of short cake, not commercial sponge cake) Awesome. All under $25 total!

Take out is quick and convenient. Soups are hot long after I get home. Chicken tenders are perfectly cooked and delicious. Loads of staff, always friendly and super appreciative of tips.
