Dr drew has taken care of my pain management needs for many Years, he is highly reputable having 4 offices 2 in Michigan and 2 in Indiana. Alisson his PA. (As of recently no longer working there :( ALI IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE COME BACK ASAP I already miss you!!!) Is wonderful to work with also being very personable, well listener with great knowledge ABOUT EVERYTHING AND OTHERS GREAT ADVICE PLUS understanding as well as dr drew and all the staff that works in his many clinics. I HAVE HAD CHRONIC PAIN FOR SO LONG I CAN'T REMEMBER NOT BN IN PAIN and I have been highly active throughout my life and still push through it daily working out Etc. It started very young for me Unfortunately due to car accidents in the past and genetically inclined having a strong family history of degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, arthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome and my active lifestyle , I deal with back pain, buttocks and leg pain that gets unbearable. I had surgery 2.5 yrs ago, a laminectomy lumbar for the pain going down the leg and unfortunately it came back a year later w symptoms starting as soon as I got active again. That procedure has a high reoccurrence rate unbeknownst to me at the time so steer clear of that one!! Actually dr. Drew even commented on if the surgery works and he was right. I also Have The same issue w my neck it's also in my family history.:-( :-( I am just thankful that dr. Drew and his staff are there for me!!! Thank you dr. Drew and staff and former Allison Chattson and lastly the appointments can take a long time because there are a whole lot of patients that are seen there and to bypass that the best time to go is in the morning first thing or close to it or be the first one right after Dr lunch and sometimes it's just inevitable but I've never had a really long wait when it came to those times I mentioned. Also if there is another doctor that comes on or APA in place of Ali seeing those doctors will give you less time to wait because dr. Drew has his hands tied up with injections and being requested to be seen Etc

I've been seeing Dr Allie for 3 years and have had no problems at all. She listens to me, always asks how I'm doing and each and every appt has been timely. The longest part of the appt is waiting for the script to be written...

You would be better off not wasting your time and go for another opinion. They state they have compassion but I don't think so. The nurse practitioner has no compassion , has no ethics as well as the worst bedside manner I've ever dealt with in over 28 years of seeing doctors for different health issues. Dr Kevin Drew you should really take a look at your staff. I never had any issues with the front desk staff or assistants, they were only kind. They too changed up a lot of my medications and wanted to stick needles in me and cut nerves so when the nerves grew back I would continue the same outpatient surgery. I was referred to this office by my PCP who no longer wanted to fill my controlled scripts. So it meant a second co pay and second appt to get all of my scripts written, after a third visit I was told by nurse practioner that my PCP worked out of their office one day a week, ETHICS ? I have canceled all future appts with not only Michiana but have also done same with my PCP. I would rather find a doctor that has real compassion for their patients and a bedside manner that fits with the job of health care provider. Not sure Medicare likes the idea of a PCP referring a patient out to another doctor that the referring doctor works out of one day a week. This is why our healthcare is so messed up in our country. Good riddence Michiana and Nurse C.

Went to Dr Drew a few times and always left feeling worse than before i went. He would only give me injections even tho they never helped. They only cause more pain. And was told to call at a exact time so i did with no response. Hes rude and uncaring to peoples needs. I never went back would rather deal with the pain. His receptionist was awesome.

Last week: After being referred to this office by my PCP, my experience with this office went downhill from the get-go. My appointment was scheduled for the later afternoon and the day before, they called to re-schedule because the doctor was leaving early; to which I informed them that I had another appointment in the early afternoon. They said they could get me in and I would make my appointment "no problem". So I rescheduled thinking it would be no big deal, right? Wrong. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to even show up at the check-in desk; along with three other patients. Then after the paperwork portion, I proceeded to wait another hour and fifteen minutes to get into the exam room. To which, at this point I had to call and reschedule my next appointment because now I would be late. Half an hour later, the doctor comes into the exam room.
Now this office will make you sign a narcotics agreement which actually is no big deal, I understand why they have it. However, when the doctor you see tells you that your PCP can manage your current medications... This is where I have another issue with this office. My PCP wanted to change up my medications while I got a second opinion on this offices' dr's opinion (not because I think he is wrong, but because I want it confirmed before I have two needles put into my spine; to me THAT is a big deal) So, I called them to asked what I should do. Four days later they finally return my voicemails.

Today: The office finally returns my call. The lady returning my call is asking what it is I need(already, she is being rude). I explain the above and with an attitude she starts arguing with what I am asking. Telling me I cannot continue treatment with this office if I get medication elsewhere. Well, if the doctor at that office said my PCP could manage my current meds and she wants to change them... What am I supposed to do? (THAT was my original question). Instead this lady gets so rude, telling me she "just doesnt understand" and then starts telling me how I wouldnt be continued care at their office. Finally, I tell her I am done with their office and her response is "good" and she hangs up on me.

Dr. Kevin Drew, I do not know what kind of staff you think is acceptable to be running your office! You may be a good doctor and while I have no complaints about you or the appointment with YOU specifically, your staff is absolutely unprofessional and has continuously DROPPED THE BALL! Furthermore, if you are reading this; could you do me the kindness of answering one thing for me? If a patient is trying to make sure they are doing the right thing by your office's standard agreements and per our specific discussion during my appointment, why the total disconnect? Because of your staff, I will not be returning to you as a patient and I will be sure to let anyone I know that this office is handled in this manner. This is unacceptable, I hope you agree and change things.

More awful than I can say. Drew was BRUTAL to me and I don't use that word lightly. Breaks many laws and the spirits of patients and kind employees alike.
