Dollar General

Huge improvement the last couple months!! They have new staff and are open normal hours again. The store looks so nice and clean! You can definitely tell they have working hard to improve the store.

We visited looking for items that shall remain nameless, and we unfortunately did not find any. However we did find a few other items and got a chance to chat with the manager for a little bit. She was very kind, unlike other stores who try to act clueless and make you feel little. This manager was awesome. Also met a lady in need there and had the opportunity to help her. Very good experience overall.

Alaya was perfect. Most people who are in customer service positions that deal with a multitude of different types of people can get annoyed or sometimes rude. But this lady kept smiling and interacting with me making sure for those few minutes during my transaction was quick and professional. I did not get that "Next person hurry up is it time for me to go home" rush interaction... a real professional if I dont say so myself! Deffinatly 5 Star worthy... I'd be sure to do whatever it takes to keep her if she was my employee.

Rasheeda and Kina are a good team to keep the store functioning. I'm always seeing the staff assisting customers to locate items.

The new manager is awesome!! ll the employees are so nice compared to other retailers. Store was clean and we'll stocked.

I say that if you want professional help and save money then this is the place for you. I love the way they help you and makes you feel welcomed. The staff here help you when they can and at times are little busy.

Gotta love the dollar store when it has items above a dollar always found that somehow funny lol anywho can't go wrong with this store for all your quick pick needs affordable at best nevertheless a good store

Love shopping here, I use to love working there and was good at it. But that's another story, I love the DG app. Saves me money.

Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Minimal Staffing but they do attempt to be as helpful as possible.

Really great staff and you find just about any general thing here from curtains to kitchen supplies.

Prices are great... but the store on portage Rd is really dirty... I've been avoiding it cause it's so dirty that it's starting to smell.
