Owner was very nice. Was my first time ball gown shopping in years and was very considerate about how I like to dress for my body size. She even let me bargain down for a tailored dress since I said I had a budget.

From my above statement. Only shop when you really need actual gowns. The dresses are tailored, so the prices correspond with how much detail goes into certain dresses. Have a game plan of what type of dress you want beforehand so you don't get whiplash from the pricing.

I just love the owners of this store and their shoe store on the third level, its a husband and wife who owns them, I came in the store 10 minutes before closing and she let me take my time and look, she helped me tremendously, even letting me try on dresses after closing, I bought 2 dresses, one for a wedding. This store has beautiful gowns, and the prices are reasonable, all sizes, even plus sizes for women like me. I'm getting married in Sept, and I told her that I will be back to purchase my wedding gown. Be it prom, weddings or whatever the occasion, you must check them out.

The cashier/manager? Was really sweet to us and she even offered to help us tie up the laces on a dress.She offered to give us a discount on two of the dresses aswell! Overall great customer service and nice dresses with reasonable price ranges.

Unique Formal Wear has a great selection of cute styles in a variety of colors and designs. Mary took great care of my daughter and helped her find the perfect prom dress! We needed a different color and she was able to order it in. It came on time and she actually got 2 different sizes for us to choose from. Would definitely recommend for any formal occasion.
