Nibbles Ice Cream Store

Yummy and good prices for the huge serving size! If you get a frosty in a cone just be ready to deal with a lot of drips lol. The base ice cream we didn’t find to have much flavor (mocha, birthday cake etc) but instead tasted like vanilla + the add-ins. Still yummy, and the frosties have huge pieces of candy/cake/dessert in them.
Update: the no sugar added mint chocolate chip was amazing and two scoops was ginormous in the waffle cone! Even enough for two large servings. The line was pretty darn long so it took us maybe 30-ish minutes to get the ice cream but they worked efficiently and it was worth it.

What an awesome place. The guy who took our order asked us all kinda questions on how we'd like our ice cream. My boyfriend had the mocha chocolate chip shake and I had the vegan banana split, we also got two peanut butter pup cups. It was delicious! Service excellent! Can't wait to go back!

Very cute little ice cream stand with reasonable prices, a lot of variety, and great ice cream! Very family-friendly with a special kids' sundae menu and a kids' play area in the back. They also have many vegan and non-dairy options. It's very popular, so there was a wait, but it was worth it!

Friendly staff and extremely generous portions of ice cream! My son got a kiddie cone (chocolate) and it's what I expected the size of my double scoop would be! My partner loved the Strawberry Cheesecake fantasy as well!

The staff were very friendly and fast for how long the line was. They had so many options.

We visited nibbles because of all the great reviews and it did not disappoint. I got a small turtle frosty and it was fantastic! Too bad it was cold out because they have a lovely seating area for families to sit and enjoy their ice cream and play around a little.

The options are endless! Nibbles they said...I don't think so! My small banana split was enormous. They are always busy but they crank out the ice cream! Weekends they are open later which is nice. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating is limited, but I imagine most people take it home or back to their campsite since its right out front of Higgins lake state park.
I was delighted to find they also serve Guernsey ice cream here! Some of the best butter pecan ice cream, period!!

Went there the last couple of days for the raspberry sorbet - it is so good & very addicting - also it is dairy free - people are very nice & accommodating

Great service, great selection, great prices. Easy to get to from South Higgins Lake State Park. Ice cream was delicious too!

Nibbles is "must go" every weekend. Such a broad menu with alternative choices. It is my kids favorite place and now the grandkids too. Friendly, efficient and yummy!🍦

This place is really great, but whoo-boy the LINES... especially in summer. Be prepared to stand around a while. But hey, that just means it's popular, and for good reason

The portions sizes are huge and well priced! We got 4 scoops of ice cream, two in special waffle cones and our total was $13. (They take cards too!) We could barely finish our ice cream because the scoops were so big. Girls at the window were friendly and the line went fast. Great stop!

Their ice cream and sundaes are huge and delicious! We loved that there were sugar free, no sugar added, dairy free, organic, and vegan options for ice cream as well as toppings! The staff is very friendly, and you can tell they love what they do. 💗

Best Place 2 Thumbs Up we have a family of 15 that came to Nibbles and we did Not go Broke.
We ordered kids cups for the kids and Boy they where Huge very generous portions.

Large portions with many options! Such a treat! Couldn't finish a small though.

We got a variety of different ice cream options throught our stay in the area. Everyone loved it. I got a plain waffle cone and it was not fresh. It was not that the ice cream made it soggy, which I understand but it just sucked. The guy with glasses and a beard was friendly one day but mean the other. Could be a possible case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Been here 20x had one bad experience the guy didnt push the ice cream down hard enough and the top fell off 15ft away just walking, then didnt want to replace what fell and gave me a small scoop, saying they are not responsible. Well I paid $8 for 2 scoops and they are laying out there in the road because you didnt push it down enough, sigh... IDK that was last year this year they did a good job of pressing it on so it didnt fall off and the TRAVERSE CITY CHERRY FUDGE - Hudsonville Ice Cream is ONLY something I can get while in Michigan at this location! I went 4x this year and it was great, I did have a leaky waffle cone once so if maybe they can solve that issue, it would be better... 5 stars though regardless

Ice cream was outrageously delicious. I ordered a single scoop and it was almost too big to finish. Orange creme was sooooo good. The had a huge scoop and was also stuffed all the way to bottom of cone. Met Aaron the owner, he was humble and nice. We will most definitely be back!

Nibbles is the very best ice cream parlor on Higgins Lake ! They have wonderful flavors and even offer gluten / vegan / sugar free flavors which is amazing for this area! It has a new owner who has made some great changes ( goodbye to a sad looking mural ) including safety features that protect his employees and customers ! His staff of young ladies is a plus as they are eager and happy to serve the ice cream! You have to try the chocolate coated waffle cones ; plus try a chocolate malted ( my hubby’s favorite ) They have lots of area to sit / you can walk to it easily from the south state park as well! Parking can be a crunch so you may need to plan ahead on that ; you can park at sharps corner or even on the other side of the street so slow down for safety ! Nibbles is a MUST DO visit !
