Lock Golf Academy

My wife and I hadn't golfed in years. Apparently, I had forgotten or never really knew how to swing a club correctly. Dan had us both hitting the ball straight within our first session. Looking forward to going back to build on session 1 after after we get some swings in.

I've been working with Dan for three years and he has completely turned me into a golfer! I started at ground zero and he has brought me to where I can play with family and friends and feel good about my game. He is patient, very knowledgable, honest, and professional. I'm looking forward to continuing my lessons next spring and improving my game even more. I can't thank Dan enough! Highly recommend him for anyone from "never played before" to "I'm almost a pro"!

Had a lesson with Dan, he was great and improved my overall swing and positioning, he helped me in several ways, I set up another lesson with before i left! He also had some great high tech video equipment so we both could go back and look, it was very helpful and very detailed, he is a great golf instructor.

Really enjoyed this lesson. Dan helped me with 4 issues that I was not aware of. Gave me some drills to company these issues which will allow me to play better golf and distance. Thank Dan.

Really enjoyed my lesson, learned a lot. Dan is a great coach and was able to diagnose my swing issue very fast! I made huge improvements based on his feedback and left with alot of information. Extremely pleased with the lesson and will return when I need more instruction.

Dan was wonderful! When I say I am a novice, I truly mean that I have never hit a golfball on a course in my life. By the end of my lesson, Dan had taught me all of the basics, enough that I was able to drive a ball 110 yds and start to feel confident on learning to play. Dan is a wonderfully professional human and was able to teach me using my learning styles and also incorporate video and photo to help me adjust. I will 100% be back when I am in the area again.

I just had my first golf lesson with Dan today and it was truly an eye opening experience. I had a terrible slice and was compensating for the wrong way. Dan have me a couple simple steps to consistently hit straight down the fareway. Nothing is better than getting the replay and getting the immediate feedback.

I will definitely schedule another session after I get an opportunity to practice what I was taught.

Down to earth guy that coaches in a way to make the improvement accessible to all, from the beginner to the pro. The technology he uses aides in making a better player, I wish I would have asked for emails of my good and bad shots, as he records and talks you through your swings well! Very positive and practical, along with action steps to take to improve your game far beyond the lesson with him. Dan puts you in the driver seat of your game and guides you to take it to whatever level you choose.

I went to see Dan when I was not confident in my swing at all. He was able to quickly identify what was wrong with my swing and provide instruction/drills that were easy to understand. I now feel much more confident in my golf swing and have a much better understanding on what I need to work on thanks to one one-hour session.

I had played golf for several years but wanted to eliminate certain mistakes that I didn't know how to. Dan was great in analyzing my swing and recommending tweaks rather than rebuilding entire swing which is exactly what I was looking for. Consistently breaking 90 now by practicing the corrections/drills Dan suggested. I would recommend Dan to anyone wanting to learn or improve their golf game given my experience.

Dan was patient and professional with his instruction. My swing was improved by the end of the lesson with effective tips and drills to carry through to practice and the course.

I have only had one lesson in my golf career and it was at Lock Golf Academy. Last summer before I met with Dan I was consistently shooting 97 and up (just hoping to break 100). After working through some kinks in my swing, I can now say that I am consistently shooting 90 and below. Dan has shaved 7 strokes off of my game. I would recommend anyone to him, he is great and easy to work with. Going back for another lesson, this summer hopefully a few more stokes off of my game again.

Dan was great to work with. He didn’t try to complicate everything, made simple fixes which lead to overall improvement. Very easy going, patient, & knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend.

Dan is a fantastic teaching pro! I cannot speak highly enough. He was clear and articulate. He was able to teach me so much about the fundamentals of the golf swing that I had never understood (or never clicked). He used a nice iPad app to take video of my swing and to highlight areas for improvement. This was very helpful! He was also able to give me a few excellent drills that I could take to the range to keep practicing. I will definitely be going back for additional lessons.

Dan gives great lessons with lots of technical feedback. He helped me see what I was doing wrong and suggested time in between our lessons so that I could practice what I learned.

Dan's a great golf instructor. You can tell he knows all the common swing faults and drills to correct them. He helped me a lot with not keeping my shoulders square at impact and helped my girlfriend with making more consistent contact. I don't know if we'll be able to continue going to him since cattails is so far from where we live but if he was closer we would definitely see him regularly.

Dan is an effective instructor, who helps you make corrections to your swing, without talking down to you. I've learned a lot during a single lesson that was able to shave 6 strokes from my previous best game. Highly recommended!

My friends and I signed up for 4 lessons. We were very pleased with his expertise and professionalism. I received great instruction that really helped improve my game. I will definitely return for more instruction.

Our entire family has taken lessons with Dan. He is an awesome instructor for all levels and ages. He is wonderful with the kids! We would highly recommend him to anyone.
