A Taste of History

We went for Holiday Lights and dinner with Santa. It was worth every penny. My oldest and youngest loved it so much. We'll definitely be going again.

We had dinner with Santa. The food was excellent 👍 very kid friendly, no wait, clean. Staff was great.

If you're looking for an affordable option with good food and an easy in and out with kids while at Greenfield Village, this is your place! My husband and I both had the pulled pork baked potatoes. They were big and a lot of food for the price (May 2023 they were just under $11). My kids had macaroni and cheese that they split and a fruit cup. They both enjoyed it and it was enough for both of them (granted my youngest is a year old and doesn't eat a ton). We would definitely choose this again over the food trucks or the other restaurant (it looked neat but was a sit down style and prices were much higher).

Good food. Fun atmosphere. High prices. $5 hot dogs and $12 sandwiches. That doesn't include sides or drinks. Ouch.

Delicious local fare. Home baked meals and treats with excellent service. Cafeteria style service, several choices for the most discriminate eaters.

Love love love!!!!! Worth it. For the experience alone. It is expensive. However, it is worth it. It was so cute to see the littles grab trays and pick out their own lunches after walking around all day. Totally worth it. Consider a membership!!!

Kale salad with peanuts was incredibly yummy. Corn and pea chowder was a little too spicy for me. but was creamy and delicious.

The greens with smoked turkey and roasted sweet potatoes were a perfect lunch.

We love eating at A Taste of History. There's a decent variety, the good tastes great, and the prices are reasonable. As with everything at Greenfield Village, the service is awesome.

I respect that prices are going up. That Greenfield Village works with quality products or at least they used to, with that being said, id like to add, People used to say it was expensive. I didn't think so. Now, yes. Some item prices are definitely getting out of hand.

Just held our annual Thriller performance at Hallowe'en Nights. Thank you Greenfield Village for hosting all of us zombies!

What a great time with the grand kids. Food was great for having to serve so many people and table staff was on top of everything. Even the coffee was good!

I had the fried chicken breast with gravy and mashed potatoes I'm not sure it was good really good

We ate there. I was hungry and was not disappointed. Yummy.!!! A little pricey but what isn't today.

Great meal. The dessert was not great.

We were able to accommodate ourselves as vegans, my parents as meat eaters, and my picky kids. The food is fresh and wonderful.

The food is delicious! The "dressed greens" is my favorite with the chicken salad sampling. The macaroni and cheese is a family favorite as well. The staff are helpful and friendly. A great place to stop in while at the Greenfield Village! The decor is historically done with many cool items to see!

All I can say is that after a day of experiencing a fantastic tour back in time... a brief moment over a beer or Cider with a molasses cookie makes for a perfect day 👌

So much to chose from! You never leave there hungry. It's kept clean and the staff is very friendly.
