Caffè Roma

I'm originally from this area, but I'm visiting from Florida and discovered this Italian cafe today! I went in for a latte and got a cannoli for breakfast.

The gentleman behind the counter was very courteous, making an outstanding latte! The atmosphere is very cozy, and I felt very comfortable while I enjoyed my breakfast.

If you really enjoy coffee, this is the place to go! I'll be back over and over when I am here!

What a great place. Takes me back to the old country. What a great guy Mike is. The double wall espresso cups are great. They keep the espresso warm thru the drink. We are definitely going to make this our new stop.

Caffe Roma has the best cappuccino and service in town! I am new to the area and decided to stop by the shop after my family (who visited me from Nashville this summer) recommended it to me. Everyone, including Michael the owner, are attentive and friendly. Now I stop by the shop frequently and am always met with friendly attitudes, the aroma of high quality coffee, and a welcoming environment full of conversations in Italian. Caffe Roma is always clean, offers an assortment of pastries and desserts, and offers cow’s milk alternatives like almond milk. I highly recommend you check them out and order a cappuccino and a Nutella cornette!

I stumbled upon this caffe while trying to kill time before meeting up with a friend. Was greeted with such enthusiasm. The atmosphere felt like a legit Italian cafe. I ordered a cappuccino, it was DELICIOUS! I was reading a book and didn’t mind the friendly voices who entered, it was apparent that this place has regulars that even stopped by to say hi. The barista realized I was reading and was so sweet to suggest if I wanted a quieter spot to read; they have a back room which is so cozy. I easily lost track of time while sipping my coffee and reading. It was definitely a great unexpected experience. If your ever in the area, or attend the church across the street, I would recommend giving this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Used to come here a lot when my sister lived in the apartment next door. Work in East Rutherford now and still as good as I remember. Also great atmosphere with the local Italians hanging out. Definitely recommend!

Not many places where you can find great espresso in the US, but this is definitely one of those places.

This place was amazing! Felt like I was transported to Italy. Great macchiato, cornetti, and lovely service! I wish I lived closer, or they had a place closer to me! I would go all the time.

Everything here speaks of Italy starting from the scent of coffee, to homemade arancini, to Sicilian cannoli, to finish with the customers who frequent it. A corner of Italy where we meet to chat and savor the wonderful homemade specialties. All products are fresh and Italian, the owners are always ready to welcome customers with a smile and extremely friendly. Do not miss this little corner of paradise

Best tasting cannolis I have ever had. Staff was polite and attentive. Service was prompt and quick. I am very happy with these cannolis and will definitely be buying more of them soon!

This is absolutely the best espresso I had in United States. I have been passing by this place for a while but for whatever reason never stopped. Today, I decided to give it a shot and it was amazing. Creamy with rich flavor, it was great. Also, very decent priced. There is one table outside as well. Overall, will definitely be back!

Never had it but the fact that espresso is spelled “expresso” on their store front gave me a good laugh 😂

I love their decaf cappuccino here! Mike, the owner knows everyone and will probably remember your after your second time if you talk to him.

Its my go to place everytimr i visit the area. The service and coffee both are awesome.

The coffee was wonderful as were the cornette. They have Sardinian olive oil for sale at a decent price. It felt like a little piece of Italy.

Amazing cappuccino and expresso! Everything here is Italian and delicious. They have freshly made arancini here and pizza squares. It is mainly a coffee place. with cookies / biscotti and deserts . They have italian products here to buy including juices coffee, italian tuna and olive oil. All products are imported from italy. They have lottery here scratch off and regular lottery . great place for a quick pick me up for a caffeine drink .

Hands down best coffee shop around. I went there a few years ago and didn't think much of it. Now with a new owner it has completely changed! Nice Italian ambience, very very clean, excellent choice of Italian espresso beans, and an overall eclectic feel to it with style and taste. I'd definitely recommend it and will continue to bring my laptop and sit for a classic Italian espresso.

A real Italian bar where you can have an absolutely perfect espresso. The pastries are great too, they even have fresh bread!

I’m in love with this place! Excellent coffee. Excellent and nice people. Pure Italian! I love the atmosphere. A lot of Italian people, drinking their espresso, chatting Italian. Each trip for coffee like small Italian trip. Highly recommend.
