The Wine Bistro

One of our absolute favorite date night places! Enjoyed shrimp risotto this evening. Atmosphere is perfect to enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner. Full inventory at the ready! Don’t know which wine, the staff is very knowledgeable!

The last Wine Bistro standing in Columbus. We haven't had the pleasure since prior to the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. We chose to have small plates with our wine. The truffled mushroom bruschetta is to die for, and the fried baked brie was rich and out of this world!
The service was great and checked in with us appropriately. The decor was tasteful, and the seating was very comfortable. Perfect place for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner.

Kaylee Travis was an AMAZING SERVER. She worked so hard and was constantly making sure she met our needs. I have never been so overwhelmingly impressed by a sever. I will be returning and requesting Kaylee. If it’s not her request her. THANK YOU KAYLEE YOU ARE A STAR I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FIR THE WINE!

The wine bistro never disappoints. No corkage fees Mondays and Tuesdays. The salmon is the best salmon I’ve ever had. It is cooked to perfection and paired so well. We’ve also had the tomato flatbread and the penne dish- both were flavorful and savory. Don’t forget the Brie, a salad, or the delicious French onion soup.

The service is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere is energetic, filled with conversations and low lighting, but not too loud to where you can’t hear your table.

Lots of free street and lot parking options nearby. We never have trouble. I would consider it very wheelchair accessible.

Spent a Saturday evening during the holidays with the girls in our family! Spectacular experience. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The wine was amazing. We even had a Chai Tea Martini recommended by our lovely server. Our waitress was kind and professional. The service was amazing. And the atmosphere was great for a ladies night out or date night. You could talk in the restaurant without screaming. Everyone was so polite. We will be back ❤

Came for a quick mid afternoon bite. The restaurant is lovely, they had pretty good selection of wines on the wine wall.
I had a delightful chilled sweet wine with a delicious shrimp bisque.
I will definitely come back again.

What an amazing first experience! Our amazing hostess was more than. She was very helpful and knowledgeable with helping me choose the perfect wine to try.

We love this place. The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly. We had Coronda pick our wine and she nailed it.

Decided to try The Wine Bistro for a birthday meal, and we had an amazing experience! We tried a flight of reds and whites and loved them all! We split a braised veal meatball based on another Google review, and it was delicious as advertised! I had the spaghetti pesto with chicken and literally could not stop eating until my plate was clean! The shrimp and risotto met the same fate as both entrees were scrumptious! We split the key lime pie for dessert which was absolutely delectable and a refreshing finish to the meal! Travis was our server and was attentive to our every need. Can’t wait to go back and try more items from their menu!

Currently my favorite restaurant. I love the atmosphere here and the manager is great. The food always exceeds expectations and the wine selection is wonderful. Highly recommend if you havent tried it out.

The worst experience I have had. Took one and half hours to get food and the beef short ribs tasted awful. I will not be going there again

Love the food, atmosphere, and especially the servers, who are very kind and confident (shoutout to Ben for always having a great wine recommendation). Can be a little pricey, but for Upper Arlington, that is unfortunately pretty standard.

Great lunch. We had the bacon cheeseburger, Italian baguette sandwich, crab cakes, and chop salad with pear prosciutto and asiago flatbread. Everyone was very pleased. I tried the flatbread, and the crab cakes and ate the Italian baguette sandwich. The crab cakes were, by far, the best. Server was friendly and engaging.
We then had the blonde brownie with bacon, oh yeah...bacon! Perfect.
We'll be back!
Update... we came back and enjoyed the rustic anti pasto platter and the crab cake sandwich. Can't go wrong here!

The Wine Bistro was simply delicious. Rightly priced for the food we received, and we tried everything! The Baked Brie started just melted you away, the Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken was doused in this amazing sauce, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding was to die for. The overall atmosphere was quite surprising, very beautiful inside and pleasant outside on the porch. The servers provided great service, I will come back wanting more!

We pass through Columbus about once a year and always plan to have dinner at Wine Bistro. Their wine list always features affordable and unique selections we don't normally see elsewhere. The service is always excellent, with knowledgeable sommeliers guiding you through the experience. On this visit, our server was Blagoi, who became very excited when we asked some questions about a Macedonian blend they were offering. Turns out, Blagoi is Macedonian and was able to provide deep knowledge about the wine we asked about, as well as several other Macedonian wines they stock. Which is another cool feature of Wine Bistro. In addition to being a restaurant, they are also a fully stocked wine retailer, and you're free to select from anything they have on the shelves to enjoy with your meal (go on Monday or Tuesday night and they even wave the normal $8.50 corkage fee). Or, you can order glasses or try a variety of pre-set flights that offer an excellent entry point for sampling their list. As excellent as the wine experience is, the food is just as good. By now, we've tried pretty much every one of the small plates, cheese boards and salads they offer and all have been outstanding. The food is well prepared, and the portions are generous. Wine Bistro is a true gem that I can't recommend highly enough.
