Great place for everything from a Bloody Mary and apps to dinner. Wonderful people and atmosphere. One of our regular stops.

Never have I been to a restaurant where the food took me back home. Their pizza tastes just like my dads and is SO delicious! The Garbage pizza especially! Rosey the bartender greets you as you walk in and is very knowledgeable with her cocktails. We have had burgers, Reubens, and the hot beef as well - a job well done on all! It fills up fast during the dinner rush, but there is a very lovely outdoor patio area in back to enjoy those summer evenings. Definitely don't sleep on Brookside Bar & Grill - it is well worth the drive! (FYI, they don't auto bring you glasses of water, you need to ask for it. Cheers!)

Was here for a special event so sat outside. Bar service a little slow but everyone there was happy and I loved the live band on a Saturday afternoon. Loved the waterfall as well!

An excellent place to grab dinner indoor or outdoors when weather allows it for the couple months of warm summer weather in Minnesota.

Burgers were well liked by our table, though I chose the fried walleye sandwich, and was less than thrilled. Perhaps I don't have the same taste for walleye that so many northern flatlanders love. Fun fact, despite its superstar status in Minnesota, the majority of walleye somes from Canada due to farm fishing rules for walleye in the US.

While the inside is nice enough, you're going to sit outside on the back patio if you can nab a table. Here you'll find live music and good beers.

I enjoyed excellent service and delicious broccoli cheese soup and strawberry rhubarb pie a la mode

Prompt, friendly service (thanks Makalia!), excellent quality food (try the chili…chunky, beefy, and spiced just right), and a HUGE selection of local craft brews on tap…what’s not to love. Come early as seating is somewhat limited if the back patio (near the water) is closed for the winter. Highly recommend!

Fast friendly service. Place was busy but the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza looked wonderfull and tasted even better than it looked. The hamburger was as good as it get. Had a real good time.

This place is awesome! Worth the drive. So much fun. Get out of the metro and check this place out. They have PULLTABS!

Great selection of tap beer. I had the potpie which was very good and creamy. They have daily specials and a menu with great variety.

Great patio area. Nice lunch in the shade for the win.

My friends brought me here while my husband and I were in town to visit them, and we loved it!! It’s feels so cozy there because the staff and other patrons are so friendly and welcoming. We ordered the pizza and it was SO good! Highly recommend that along with the cheese curds and chicken wings. They have an awesome selection of beers and fun cocktails to try also! Can’t wait to go back the next time we visit!

I can't believe we just found this place...but I'm so glad we did. Their outdoor space is wonderful - plenty of room to grab a meal or even some seats to just grab a cocktail & chat. The inside space is great too (although small, so meal times might be pretty full). They have a nice variety of food, beer & cocktails. It's our new go to spot.

Vanessa goes out of her way to be a great server! We really appreciated her at the Brookside! Plus you can't beat the delicious food that is consistent there. Love the Chicken Torta. The bacon on it is great and you cant beat the fresh bakery buns there!!!

Great place to eat. We had a wonderful time. They have live entertainment. The band was really good! Every day is a good day to go. It's our new to go place. Met some nice people.

We were camping at the nearby state park. Only a few miles away. We had a great experience at Brookside bar and Grill. Good food, good beer, and a good atmosphere. Definitely worth your while if you wanna grab a beer and a bite to eat.

Great spot to stop by...especially Sunday afternoons...band playing.Nice mix of folks. Very busy but they do try and serve as best they can. Love the Reuben and the Rachel...both meats cooked on site. Try it you'll like it.

One of best bars in MN, hands down. Rosie is a cocktail goddess!

My friend and I rode our bikes two hours to get to this bar because we had been told it was a special place. We had a couple of drinks and then it began to down pour rain outside. Shortly after the rain began the power went out, the music stopped and they weren’t able to serve food. It turned out to be a great surprise because it allowed us the opportunity to get to know the owners, Rosie & Grayson. These two allowed us to stay in there bar for just under three hours while treating us like family and even including us in a birthday celebration they had for one of their friends. All the while, the power was still out. This is a bar you will go to and not forget! Brookside Bar & Grill is one of a kind, you won’t find another bar like this one. Thank you Rosie & Grayson for the great experience!

Service was great, fast and food (French toast) was delicious. Perfect stopping spot for 1/2 way through a 55 mile bike ride. Oh yeah the Morgan/Coke was excellent.

This place far exceeds your typical pub fare. While the menu comprises all of the regular bar and grill food you might expect, the ingredient quality, portion size, and flavor goes way beyond expectations especially for the price. Everything I have had was superb, the staff is amazing, the atmosphere is "north-woodsy" inside and has a beautiful patio out back. You can hear water tumbling in the distance as the local creek runs into the St Croix . I love this place and recommend it to anyone.
