St Croix Chocolate Co

I found my new favorite chocolate EVER. I came from Minneapolis just to taste these chocolates. First I need to say I am a hardcore chocolate enthusiast(one of my first words was Chocolate/I never spoke when I was little unless I smelled chocolate) so I have high standards. I’ve bought luxury chocolates from all over the world and these chocolate absolutely compare. I bought 10 truffles, went into my car and ate the lemon espresso which I bought 3 of. It was so good, I went back inside and bought 7 more lemon espressos because it was the most delicious truffle I’ve ever had in my life and I knew I was gonna be so bummed if I ran out before getting home. It is everything I’ve ever wanted in a truffle in terms of taste and texture. I’ve had every lemon chocolate I can get my hands on and THIS… nothing can compare. It’s actually tart lemon, not overly sugar and fruity. It’s like they managed to put my favorite tart lemon bar inside a milk chocolate filling. Plus the outside is dusted in this really nice sugar shards. Holy smokes it was delicious. I probably talked to my mom for 2 hours about how much I loved this truffle. The second one I loved was the Apple Walnut. It has the most beautiful design on it, but the apple flavor is just an explosion and again- not artificially sweet and fruity. Anyways, highly highly recommend to my chocolate lovers. I bought 17 truffles and here we are not even 48hrs later and all 17 are GONE. I have no self control and I’m not ashamed.
P.s. could I get a cake made out of the lemon espresso? I would seriously use it for my wedding if so.

Delicious and fresh! Not only was the chocolate wonderful, and the staff friendly, the little town Marine on St. Croix is an enjoyable visit. There is path behind the General Store that leads to the waterfall and down to the river. Visiting St. Croix Chocolate and the Waterfall made for a perfect Sunday afternoon escape from the city.

My husband and I always love everything we buy and consume from the St. Croix Chocolate Company. Robyn’s flavor and design artistry is unsurpassed. Before we relocated to this area we used to use Vosges as the source for our Advent calendars, and the calendars we got this year from St. Croix are absolutely superior, we are even more hooked! We adore the specialties for each season, and we enjoy stopping in for single servings during our jaunts out. So glad this artist is sharing her talent with the world.

St Croix Chocolate Co: Worth the drive and worth the price!

I've known the owner of St Croix Chocolate Co since before she endeavored to start an artisan business located on the scenic St Croix riverway.

Every product I've eaten has been beyond delicious. I purchased the amaretto cherry chocolates this Christmas. Let me tell you, these are not the chocolate-covered cherries I used to get as a thank you when I was a young paperboy. The flavors were subtle and nuanced. Last Easter, I bought their daisy-shaped, lemon-flavored chocolates. Again the taste was decidedly lemon without being overpowering. I wish those were available year-round, but I understand the lemon flavoring isn't always available, so I'll have to be content to wait until next spring to get these.

If you're looking for a fudge shop or chocolate that's priced like a mass-produced Hershey bar, head down the road to Holiday Gas station. If you want exceptional, unique chocolates, have a scenic, calming drive to St Croix Chocolate Co.

Its small, but it is very nice inside. You have to wait in line to go in, but it is well worth the wait

More over Godiva, these are truly gourmet chocolates! The passion fruit ones are my fav.

We are currently enjoying the fall spice cocoa bombs and are in heaven! We stopped at the general store just around the corner and picked up some fresh glass bottle milk to use and it was worth it!
The chocolates are so decadent and they have some wonderful flavor combinations. I highly recommend checking it out.

Amazing combination of artistry and chocolate. Their new location is in a charming little town and their building is easy to find. The employees are very kind and respond to Facebook/email questions quickly. Their product and packaging are always beautiful and tastes even better!
This is a fabulous place for finding a special treat for yourself or as a gift. Even the drive to their location, if you want to go versus delivery, is lovely.

I have been to a dozen or so truffle or high end chocolate shops in MN and this one is by far and away the best. Robin and Deidre the owners are always very friendly and excited to share their newest creations. They are extremely creative with the style of their chocolate and are awesome about using local and seasonal ingredients. I have personal favorites but I have never had a piece of chocolate from them that I didn't like. If you are on the fence about giving them a try, don't be. St. Croix Chocolates is head and shoulders above the competition.

my absolute favourite place to buy chocolate! they have the best tasting chocolate (I have travelled the world and still think that) the chocolate is all hand painted and beautifully designed. they also have the best flavor combinations. The dark chocolate passionfruit is delightful!
