Stoney Creek Hotel La Crosse - Onalaska

We're just settling in for the night, but so far, our stay has been exceptional.
Our kids 8 and 9 enjoyed the pool. They gave us a late checkout, so we'll all try it again tomorrow and see what it is like swimming outside with the sun out in the indoor/ outdoor pool, which looks awesome.
The room with its rustic cabin decor is great. We look forward to finding time to try out the jacuzzi and enjoy the balcony views.
Update:
Breakfast was decent we enjoyed ourselves but could use a kids cereal option like fruit loops or sugar cereal.

The beds are extremely comfortable but the pillows leave something to be desired I'd recommend supplying your own.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning.

My husband and I got married here this past summer of 2023.
We had a wonderful experience from the second we walked in to tour the venue to till we walked out together as a married couple.

I toured many venues beforehand and was not impressed with many, I was looking for convenience, a good price(they offered me a payment plan which was helpful!), the venue size was very roomy for our 110 guests, due to it being a hotel we didn’t have to worry about transportation for our guests, We had VERY helpful staff help us throughout everything and coordinated the day of and night before for rehearsal dinner. Bridal get ready room, Grooms get ready room, Everything was in one place we didn’t have to run around due to us having our wedding at the hotel. The decor they offer with your package is just a bonus they set up their decor for you too. Bonus for your guests… they have an indoor and outdoor pool. I will always be forever grateful to Stoney Creek for working with us to have the best day ever.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this hotel is one of the best. Each and every single staff member that I have encountered has been friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was sensational and literally had everything that I needed and more.I wish I had booked more nights. My every need and want was attended to and made my stay here feel special, not just another hotel room. The uniqueness of the hotel and room decor is priceless and adds a special feel to your stay. It's not a chain hotel by any means and that is what makes it more fun and still comfortable.

Had our 5-year anniversary party with friends and had a great time. Bar in Hotel was a lot of fun although the wings were all cold and had to be sent back to heat up! Rooms were spacious and clean, had a great time.

9/2023 We have stayed at Stoney Creek locations before and like them, so stopped here for an overnight stay. The king room is well decorated, and the bed comfy. My only comment is their bathrooms seem to be a tad small. The young lady helped us with a list of places to eat that were within 3 miles. THere is plenty of other retail around the hotel, but you don't hear the traffic. Check out and breakfast the next morning were great.
Will stop here again if i the the area.

I'm delighted to share my wonderful experience at the hotel I'm currently staying in. The customer service here has been absolutely exceptional. Not only are the staff members friendly and welcoming, but they also went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Upon my arrival, they pleasantly surprised me by allowing me to check in earlier than the usual time, which made a significant difference to my travel plans. Their flexibility and eagerness to assist truly made me feel valued as a guest. It's evident that the hotel places a strong emphasis on providing top-notch customer service, and this early check-in experience is just one example of their dedication to ensuring a memorable stay for their guests.

What a very unique experience! We loved our spacious suite, our beautiful balcony view, the bar & patio, the pool/hot tub and all the other special details of this hotel! It was the absolute perfect place to stay for our visit here.

Our daughter had her wedding there! They were very accommodating to her and her family, and dogs. Food was great! Hall for wedding, bar, and dance floor was awesome! Our king room was very nice!

Stoney Creek is our home away from home when visiting family in the LaCrosse area. The rooms are welcoming, the staff is always so friendly amd accommodating and many memories have been made by the pool and hot tub. We will be back!

I'd 10/10 stay here again! Super cute decor, front staff was extremely kind + helpful, and room was very clean + nice. $25 dog fee. Bonus points... it had a ceiling fan to keep the climate good throughout the night. We stayed in a double queen room. Loved it!

I love the rustic cabin like feel of the hotel and room.
All of the staff are so nice, friendly and helpful.
The rooms are reasonably priced.
There is a good variety of food for breakfast.
I would highly recommend this hotel and I plan on staying here again for more than just 1 night.

The STAFF goes above and BEYOND! While staying here my rental car battery died. I had a doctor appointment we flew into town for in 20 minutes and I asked for help. Toni the front receptionist was so kind, jumped into action, she got me a ride from Dan the main person (also very friendly) and my daughter and I got to our appointment! while we were there at our appointment (Spencer another staff member) jumped and moved my rental car to the back lot and recharged my battery! They also told us to call for a ride back to the hotel once the appointment was over and we did! Dan picked us up and gave us a ride back!! i can’t even believe the kindness of the staff at this location! Truly saved the day and what a blessing!

My daughter and I loved the themed hotel, decor, pool and arcade area! We had a blast while staying here. The coffee was good, the breakfast was yummy and for the price it was worth every penny! The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. We’ve stayed in many hotels but never had such a warm and welcoming experience 10/10!!!

LOVE our yearly trip here for dance! The Continental breakfast is good, pool is awesome! It has one of the half indoor half outdoor pools and the whole pool area is very nice. They have a bar downstairs with pool and darts. Lots of entertainment on site.

Fabulous pieces of artwork need to be paused by the viewer beholding full appreciation and this is ultimately how one must conduct themselves for authentic discernment visiting museums such as the great Chicago art museum. The talents and the gifts of the artists are gifts from God. The talent of interior designers, creative florists and masterful head chefs are all gifts from God. These gifts are abundantly on display here within this incredibly unique setting featuring stupendous views. The art, structure and interior design of this hotel is unmatched in this part of the country. I visited from Vermont and was truly enchanted. However, although these gifts of God bestowed on our talented human condition are only accentuated by our willingness to develop them, one must also pause and take in the ever abundant professionalism, courtesy and contagious enthusiasm of this hotel staff spear headed with caring sincerity by general manager, Kara, as this is the selling point that will drive you right back for another visit. I mean the art work is nice as is the fireplace, but the welcome from Ally upon my arrival, and answers to questions I presented to Austin, the understanding and patience of Keaton, the empathy and radiant smile of Leanna....are more impressive than the worlds greatest whirlpool on the lower level and the wall art that should have found its way home with me....these good folks truly treat you with utmost respect and I have always believed that when we encounter such people it is because they respect themselves. And such respect carries over into work ethics and inviting hospitality setting the bar high for standards of excellence throughout this entire region and its prospective travelers.
(I appreciated the great medical rate I was offered and happily accepted....I did not know of such a rate and it was brought to my attention. I guess it was the hair that alerted them of a medical condition.). lol

I really like this hotel. I picked this hotel for a family reunion and the hotel staff were very accommodating. There were 13 of us and we were able to hang out in the lobby seating that they have there. There were also other random seating around the hotel. The pool was down, but they did let me know in advance and they had an alternative pool that we could use. The rooms were very clean. We didn't have room service as it wasn't needed.

My only complaint would be that I didn't love the layout of the rooms, but nothing can be done about that. I just prefer the sink to be on the outside of the bathroom. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room. They also only put 2 towels in the 2 queen bed room and I thought that was odd, but all we had to do was ask the front desk for another one. You will also hear people in the hallways. So if you hate that then don't stay here. I couldn't hear anything from the rooms next door, only noises coming from the hallway.

When I asked for a chilled bottle of Moscato the front desk worker went above and beyond to go get it and glasses

We just stayed here and it was delightful. The hotel has so much character ! It was quiet and the staff was very nice. Will definitely stay here again !

It was lovely experience staying at Stoney Creek. I was for State Garden Club Convention. Room was lovely with the down comforter. The experience from room, staff, food and catering. It is a place I Iook forward in returning in the near future.

Amazing hotel. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Hot tub and pool where clean and they provided towels for us to use at the pool. Indoor outdoor connection pool was fun for the kids. Breakfast was wonderful and they kept everything full. Rooms are good sized and clean. My family included a teen and a 3 year old and both had a fun time. The hotel it self was clean and the decor was wonderful. They have a rustic decor style. I would most definitely stay there again.

We made a last minute reservation and we were scared that we were going to get a terrible room. We were wrong! The room was very clean, the bathroom was immaculate. The hotel is very spacious and clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful during checkin and checkout, we didn’t have to wait long at all. They were close to a few restaurants. We ended up going eat at Luigi Italian Restaurant Cuisine and Bakery and the food was amazing!

Recommend both places!
