Blue Moon Restaurant

This is our go to Sunday breakfast place. Nice views. Often a short wait but worth it. You can also choose to eat at the bar. In summer, outdoor seating also available. Good choice of unique dishes along with the standard breakfast fare. Good sized portions. I have tried much of the menu and never been disappointed. Shown here is the Fire Roasted Peaches French toast. If you don't see the exact combo you're looking for just ask, they'll put anything together for you. Service is a tad slow (it is a busy place) but friendly and willing to help. Parking can be a challenge = might need to park up the street a ways.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday around noon. The place was packed!! The mimosa flights are very, very good. Not bad for the price either!! $14 for 4 mimosas. Breakfast was very good as well. I had an omlette but will be going back to try the chicken and waffles. Service was good and the food came out pretty quick, especially considering there were over a dozen people in my group.
Highly recommend.

Very busy breakfast spot, but not too packed on the Monday morning we were there. Our waiter could have been around a little more frequently, but they appeared to have been handling a large table in addition to ours, so I understand. Our breakfast was delicious and not too expensive, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

This place was absolutely magnificent! I could not find one single knock for this restaurant. I went with a large group of friends, we were seated within minutes. The place was extremely busy! We had a nice table, that had a scenic view of the Mississippi River. We ordered bloody Mary's, delicious. I ordered steak, toast, eggs, and a waffle. It was some of the best breakfast food that I've had. Everybody in our party was more than satisfied. Our waitress was extremely attentive and professional. I highly recommend this business, it would be a challenge to find a breakfast place better.

We have eaten here a few times when we were in Onalaska. The food is always good. There are plenty of options on the menu. Staff are friendly. Even when we have come with large groups.

We had Blue Moon caterer our wedding on July 29th, 2023. Kim from Blue Moon catering was great to work with. She was very responsive and attentive throughout the entire process. Kim was patient as we worked out details with our venue (they were new and a contract had not yet been signed). We loved the food during our tasting- we were able to try a variety of different options. The food at our wedding was great as well but the pork option was a little tough. The price per plate included linens, silverware, plates, glasses, etc. Blue Moon set up all of these things at our venue the day before making things easy on our end. They were also there to clean everything up after dinner. It was worth paying a little bit more per plate to have these things. Kim was also very flexible with our final count- we changed this several times the week of our wedding with no penalty.

Nice place for lunch. Had a salat and it was just great. Also the team in the restaurant was very nice and took care of me and my colleagues even the restaurant was full.
Will definitely come back when in the area.

The wait was not too long for a Friday night, 20 mins. Food was delicious and I appreciated cottage cheese was offered as a side. (Not everyone enjoys fries) Portion sizes were perfect and quality was excellent. We came to visit our daughter in college and her roommates recommended it. Did not disappoint

Absolutely stunning, newly updated (inside and out) restaurant with a bar inside. The food is always phenomenal and the service is great!
When we get to the LaCrosse/Onalaska area we are always sure to stop at the Moon for a burger and some bacon jalepeño bombs!

Breakfast in La Crosse with friends, I can see why this is a well loved local haunt. It has ambience, menu (variety), and service. I liked "the green eggs and ham". Don't be turned off by the full parking lot, there's a lot of container space inside. Roomy bar to hangout while you wait. Good, homemade bloody Marys.

Get there early or be prepare to wait. Very clean and friendly establishment. The food is delicious but if they are busy it can take awhile to eat. The patrons seem to be of either geriatric age or college age so be patient because they are an educated crowd from all spectrums of the rainbow.

Th Blue Moon has been a staple to Onalaska for many, many years, and every time I drive past, the parking lot is always full. I finally stopped in for breakfast and found the inside just as full as the parking lot. The service was excellent in lew of being so busy. I just had three eggs, toast and coffee. The coffee was very good and with a bottom less cup.

I ate lunch here today and as Always, delicious food, great service, Anna was my server, and comfort atmosphere! Compliments to the Chefs and keep up the great work to All! Thank you! 👍 🤗❤

A "staple" in the LaCrosse area! Excellent service & food! Full bar and very reasonable prices! Many local residents fill the seats and are always very welcoming! When you are in the driftless area of WI Blue Moon Restaurant is a "must" to stop in for a drink and if you want some great meals, BREAKFAST, lunch, or dinner ... you'd LOVE it!!

Great little bar and restaurant with friendly service and an awesome variety of American food! They have a great selection of burgers and appetizers including both traditional and boneless wings with a variety of sauces. You cannot beat the beautiful location either with a scenic view stop directly across the road.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. Will our server was friendly, efficient, and made us feel welcome. The new style, decor, and updates are exactly what it needed. We'll be back especially with their amazing view!!

Great experience @ Blue Moon! I was told that they had recently remodeled, and the exterior & interior look great. Our waitress was fast, checked on us often, and very friendly.
Everyone's breakfast was delicious, and the "hair of the dog" was very good also (mimosa flight & bloody mary's)!
