If I could max out my credit card at a store, this would be it! My most favorite gift store I have ever stepped into! I was greeted with such kindness by the owner, Barbara! I cannot say enough great things about her! She spent so much time helping me pick out the most perfect items for my new home! If ever you need a gift for someone, this is the place to get it! Great everyday items as well as those specialty things you can't find anywhere else! Highly recommend!!

Love this store! It has the most beautiful and unique gifts, perfect for weddings or birthdays. Also they keep up with unique one of a kind holiday items! The staff is friendly and always eager to show new items that have arrived. I read some of these other comments and it saddened me. I have been to this store multiple times and never had any issues. Was always treated kindly and you could tell the owner Barb puts a lot of thought into the items she selects. She is friendly and my experience has been that she is always over the top excited to share the items she brings into the store. Anyhoo I just wanted to put in a review to say I am so glad this store is open during these tough times and that the staff there is working so hard. These small business are really going through it and I don't like to see some them take a hit and possibly have to shut down! I have never ever had a bad experience at this store.

I have to disagree with the review before me. I needed a gift for a gift exchange on this coming Wednesday for a good friend of mine, I googled for MacKenzie Child in the Cleveland area since I live in the Youngstown area and we don't have a good selection to pick from in this area. It directed me to the Eaton store, I called and unfortunately the store was closed until Tuesday. I contacted the store located in Little Italy and spoke with a gentleman, I explained the situation and he told me he would have the owner (turns out it was his wife) contact me within the hour, she called me back within 15 minutes. I explained what happened and my situation and we went through the MacKenzie site together while on the phone, after deciding on a gift, she told me she would open the store for me if I could meet her at a certain time....She arrived right on time she was SUPER NICE AND ACCOMMODATING! Barb gift wrapped my item beautifully and I even went ahead and purchased a gift card also, I can't wait for to see her again and take my friends there!!! Thank you Barb and your hubby for all you did for me! I am a customer for life now!!

P.S. Barb even left 2 other customers in to browse while she helped me, and they said they would be back also!

This is such a beautiful store with great gifts and pricing. But more importantly are the husband and wife team there!! I bought a couple gifts for my wife for Passover and they gift wrapped it beautifully and even delivered it to my wife personally. I just got off the phone with my wife and she was so shocked and so excited. Thank you so much… Continued success. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic selection of Italian pottery and home furnishings. I have ordered 60 custom hand painted mugs from Italy with Barbara, and she communicated throughout the entire process so I never wondered what was going on. I highly recommend LBV in both Eton Collection and in Little Italy. Pete and Barbara have great inventory and their shopping events at Christmas are great fun, too!

Outstanding selection! The owner is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Best bridal registry in the city and perfect hostess gifts. The quality is fabulous. She treats everyone as if they were old friends. A Cleveland gem!!!

What a nice store! They have a great selection of beautiful items for entertaining and home decor. I love the bejeweled picture frame I got there.

I was actually ok till I got to the checkout. The woman behind the counter was actually scolding me for something I already bought. Was put off by her gruff tone.

Poor customer service! Purchased an item as a gift which arrived broken. I was contacted by the stores' owner who under the circumstances apologetically offered a refund which was not the stores' normal policy. I Packaged and returned the item and received a check minus $40. When I contacted the owner to question the difference I experienced a totally different conversation. Pete, the owner, was rude and continuously spoke over my questions, essentially saying I was being petty for arguing over "40 dollars"! He also emphasized that he had given a refund as a "courtesy". I could have purchased the very same item online and had it shipped with minimal hassle however I chose to patronize a locally owned business to help support that establishment. As a business owner myself, I have and will continue to resolve issues fairly especially when the party holding the issue is reasonable! It is unfortunate that this is obviously not the credo of this stores' ownership.

In response to your response, please realize that you were not privy to the content of my conversation with Pete over the telephone hence, you should not be stating fallacies about the recipient's like or dislike for the item. The item was well liked by that party! I did not ask for a refund I was offered one. additionally, this is a platform for the consumer to express his/ her experience. I seldom take the time to post on Google but I felt the necessity to do so for this experience. Please keep your $40 and rest assured I will not be patronizing your store.

The review from the lady named Gabrielle is 110% accurate. I’ve experienced this owner’s tactlessness firsthand. Ms. Andrea: please don’t let your respect for someone blind you to whatever red flags they throw up. The owner may be kind to you, but she is not kind to others. I can’t recommend this place.

My friends and I were simply window shopping— of all the times we’ve been to Eton we’ve never stopped by this store— as we were walking in, one of my friends made a joke that made the group of us laugh (loudly, I will admit). The owner heard us and called to us from the back, saying “are you guys going to behave, or am I going to have to call security?” She yelled this at us two times before we could even see her! The three of us immediately stopped and looked around for her. She was hiding in the back and yelled at us all the way to the front of the store. Being a group of black college kids, we were immediately offended. When we didn’t respond to her and turned to leave, she must’ve felt some kind of way, as she ran up to us and changed the subject, talking about her window displays and acting as if she wasn’t just incredibly rude. She lost a customer that she almost had, the items in the store are incredibly beautiful and I was actually planning to buy something I saw in that window. It’s a shame I’ll never go back.
