Taco Fresco

Asada fries are top tier. I'll always enjoy a steak taco or burrito as well. The tres leches cake will smack your taste buds so hard you'll come crawling back for more. The service has always been excellent. Also, the waitress Amber is pretty cute too.

Amazing fresh gourmet tacos at a reasonable price. This is a destination restaurant....I drive 45 minutes for these tacos and I'll drive it again. Not to mention, the service is impeccable! The cupcakes are divine.

The fried avocado taco was probably my favorite. My son loved the Asian steak taco. I have also tried the steak, fish, and shrimp tacos. There hasn't been one, that I haven't loved.
And they really fill them up with lots of meat!

Oh wow. Some of the best tacos I've every had. Everything was super fresh, plentiful, and creative. I had all 3 special tacos (I was hungry!). The pesto portobello taco...was AMAZING. The other two tacos (steak and shrimp) were also very good.

OMG hands down one of the best taco places around! Service was great very educational about the menu. Authentic Mexican food with fantastic flavor!! Definitely my new taco joint!

I never liked hispanic food very much, but that was before going to Taco Fresco!

After reading about the Blue Zones in Central America and how the corn tortilla is a nutrient rich part of the Centenarian diet, I decided to try Taco Fresco against my dislike of tacos. I ordered a Shrimp Taco, a Chicken Taco, and an Asian Steak Taco, and they were all fantastic! Three tacos was a lot of food, though.

Each taco came with two corn tortillas, though one can order flour (but why would you?). The tacos were light on ingredients, but ingredients were seasoned very lightly, and each ingredient tasted fresh and flavorful. I do not like cilantro at all, and I was very happy that I wouldn't really taste any. I think that they mostly used parsley.

If I had a complaint, it would be that Asian Steak Taco was too spicy. But that is probably only because I am not a fan of spicy food, and overall the taco tasted amazing.

I have since gone back and plan to go back several times in the future. Tacos are reasonably priced, so eating out at Taco Fresco is something I could do anytime. The service there is also very friendly, and their Margaritas are very good too.

My second favorite place to eat in Whitewater next to Fanatico. But Fanatico is more expensive, and I will probably eat at Taco Fresco more often than anywhere else in Whitewater!

We are regulars at Taco Fresco. Being Vegan its often difficult
to have food prepared that meets our standards. The chef here
has always worked with us to make sure our choices are prepared accordingly. It is a small laid back place with a. welcoming atmosphere. Red and green sauce are to die for!

Awesome! Fresh, quality ingredients. A tremendous value. Wish this had been a restaurant when I was an Undergrad at UW-WHITEWATER.

We stopped in here and had some lunch. The price was reasonable. The food was phenomenal. I've never had fried avocado before. It was delicious. It's one of those smaller places that treat you like family. Thanks for the delicious lunch!..

The chef is very kind and cares about the people he makes food for. The waitress is also a ray of sunshine. The daily duo puts a smile on everyone face the moment they walk through the door. The food is even more impressive! The chef creates some of the best food including the most unquie tacos in all of Walworth county! If you haven't tried taco fresco you should definitely give it a try! I am a repeat customer of theirs with no complaints, I'll definitely be back for more myself!

wow just wow the steak taco changed my whole perspective of things, got the fried advocation taco, pretty unusual but pretty decent the salsa stuff on top was good and complimented it greatly, for $5 pretty expensive but still would say it’s worth it. Next up was the Southwest Chicken Quesidila thing, had all sorts of shengangians going on inside and it was properly seasoned and everything but it was super good would definitely get it again. For $11 would say it Carrie’s its value nicely. finally is the steak taco, it looked kind of disappointing at first but upon taking a bite it was amazing just wow. I’m not sure what they put in there but it’s probably comparable to crack. I also had the agua fresco with watermelon and like which was very refreshing not too sweet unlike others. Overall a great function. The chef in the back cooking up everything is a culinary Artist. A modern day Picasso to say the least.

Such an easy 5 to give. You will go broke eating here too much, but the portions are really fair. 4 bucks for one taco, but my steak taco had a ton of meat and oh so good. A real gem, with records playing while you eat and service that has always been attentive and caring each time I have been there. Queen, get in my ears! Tacos, get in my belly! Enjoy.

Up to 5.99 a taco and I am not changing a thing on this review, get an Asada Taco and enjoy high quality steak and a Chicken Morocco with some of the best spices.

Sensational tacos. They do not crimp on loading the tacos up with flavor or ingredients. Creative without sacrificing quality. Borderline decadent. They are not messing around. I need an excuse to get back to Whitewater. Will be dreaming and daydreaming about my meal.

Amazing tacos my favorite was the fish taco with mango sauce. At 6 for $20 you can't go wrong!!

If I could give the food and service (Stephanie was our server - awesome! ) at Taco Fresco more than 5 stars I would. All the veggies tasted farmer market fresh, even fresh herbs. Perfectly seasoned meat. Serving sizes were very generous, prices more than fair. Highly recommend!

Cute small taco restaurant with fresh ingredients and friendly staff. We were just breezing through town but we'll be back for the food.

Absolutely amazing. Staff is incredible, friendly, and helpful. Food is tremendous. Plan for about a 15-20 minutes wait for food, as everything is prepared fresh. He uses lots of local ingredients.
