Whiskey Ranch Bar & Grill

My husband and I went there for lunch today. I ordered the Bacon Avocado Cheese Burger, Loaded Bloody Mary with a Miller for a chaser. He got the Shrimp Po'Boy Wrap. (both lunch specials), they were delicious!!! And shout out to our awesome waitress Kyleigh! This was our first time there and definitely will be on our list to revisit! A Must go to! 👍👍

What a great bar and grill! Super atmosphere but more importantly the food is really good!! We found it by Google reviews and decided to try it as we were passing through the area, bingo!! Wife and I share cheese curds, very good, better than most. I had the Brisket Burger. First off, the server asked for cook temperature - how nice!! I hate places that just cook everything to well done. I ordered and received a properly cooked Medium burger, a huge burger, topped with 2 nice pieces of brisket, sauced with some nice BBQ sauce, and underneather the burger was pickles, red onion, tomato and lettuce, and it wall all on a really nice quality bun. It was so big I could barely eat it! But eat it down I did as it was excellent! The fries were super, nice and crispy, not overdone or greasy. The wife had the Bourbon Bacon Chicken Wrap with fries. She really liked it and it was a big serving. The fires were the same, very good. Shout out to our server Makenzie who was friendly, attentive, prompt and helpful. I would ask for her again. Overall, 5 stars for an excellent experience, food and service!

My bestie took me here on Thursday. 11/16/23 It's her favorite place to eat where she lives. I had the Margarita. She had a cocktail. I wish I would've gotten the same she ordered. She let me take sip and it was delicious! Better than my Margarita. Let's get to the important parts of this review. We had Cheese curds for an appetizer. It was the same basic fried white cheddar cheese curds you get everywhere else. What happened to actual sharp cheddar cheese curds in Wisconsin? Personal preference. They were still yummy and we ate them all of course. 😋 She ordered a buffalo wrap and I ordered a Whiskey ranch wrap. We both got Waffle fries because I didn't see Onion rings as a side. That might be on my end for not even asking. They were kinda busy, but the staff was attentive and everything came out quick and hot. 😋 I've had different wraps at other restaurants, but I've never given a 5 out of 5. It was just perfect! From the flavor, and the crisp texture of the wrap. It's definitely a 5 out of 5 for me. The atmosphere was chill, but too dark for me so I gave a 5 on that because that's not on them. Again, the staff were polite, respectful and attentive. If I could give service a 10. I would! I'm sure since my bestie lives near by. I'll be able to enjoy the rest of the menu. 😁

We absolutely LOVE Whiskey Ranch. We have never had a bad experience there. The food is incredibly tasty, not a bad choice on the entire menu.

Great experience!! I had the brisket and waffle fries my wife had a chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and both were absolutely excellent! Light friendly atmosphere, everything very clean, lots of TVs around... we will definitely be back!!

Buckle up for a difficult decision on what to order. So many tasty options on the menu. Finally settled on the brisket burger. Glad I did. Cooked just like I ordered. Very good! Look forward to going back and trying other meals.

Stellar food. Nice low lighting adds to coziness. Friendly wait staff. Great beer selection. Two visits to Whisky Ranch and both were +10. Whole She Bang loaded fries are epic good. Fried greenbeans crispy and flavorful. Honky Tonk burger awesome both visits. My grown sons tried 4 of the other burger selections and rated them highly, especially brisket burger - they left full from large portions. French fries even extra yummy. Waitress and bartender above par professional and friendly. Try it!
Edit: added more photos from additional visits. Every visit consistently good. Found out today they offer a birthday drink, too late to use it for our birthday visit, but sounds amazing.

This was my second time in here, and it was as good as I remembered from the first time. I tried a burger this time, and it did not disappoint. My daughter had their ribeye, and it's the same story there, with a quality piece of meat. I can easily recommend this place.

WHAT A GEM. The food was all so good and the portion sizes are huge. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick. We had a huge party of people (17) they were able to serve us quickly but they had to split the group up across 2 tables. Our friend ordered an excessive amount of baskets of bacon, which made him the happiest guy in the world. All of us really enjoyed our meals so whatever you decide to order, I'll be good.

Fantastic food, amazing staff, and a decent atmosphere. Very amazed at quality and we all left full, satisfied, and with 10/10s on our lips. Well done! Thank you for the excellent meal!

Terrific service and great food! Our second time there and tried some different items, which were very yummy! Stopped on the way back from a visit in Illinois to look at a vehicle. We remembered this place when were hungry!

This place was great. Some of the best fried pickles we've had. Everything sounded so good on the menu that it was hard to chose. The beer on tap list was great and the cocktail menu was delightful. We can't wait to go back and try more things.

Love this place. Great food and drinks. Awesome atmosphere. Parking can be a bit troublesome but that's the same for most anywhere downtown. Went with my son and had the Big Louie Burger. He had grilled cheese with mac and cheese. My burger seemed messier than I remember the last time I had it but it still hit the spot. Pulled pork and onion straws on a burger with lettuce, tomato, and barbecue sauce. Yum! I'd say I'd be back but that's a given. Probably my favorite place to stop for food in the area is Whiskey Ranch

I just read another review mentioning about the double tall glass being just a mason jar style glass sort of small. I suppose that is accurate as I got one this day as well. $7.50 for that drink yet that seems to be becoming more average

WR has my favorite burgers hands down! We ate outside for the first time and service was great, which isn't usually the case with restaurants with outside seating. Great experience. My teenagers even go for dinner here and they are a fast food generation, that tells you something about how goof their food is!

Food was sooooo good and everything was priced reasonably. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly an unexpected gem here in beautiful Janesville. Nicole’s biggest concern was the clear lack of chocolate themed desserts, so my review is a 9.9/10. Y’all better not sleep on the prime rib

Come hungry because you will want one of everything on the menu! Service was fast and friendly! Refills for non alcoholic drinks and napkins brought before we could ask! Portions are filling, and so flavorful! I can't wait to go back!! I highly reccomend eating here!

We ordered the Mac 'n Cheese Burger and a Whiskey Ranch Chicken Wrap and they were both DELICIOUS! You get great portions of food and for a great price. Absolutely recommend their food - we have loved everything we have tried!
