Milwaukee Grill Janesville

A nice little dive bar and grill. Excellent soup, appetizers and entrees. Their burgers, steaks and fries are so yummy. Will definitely be back here when I am traveling on business.

Busy place at lunch. Bar area has smaller booths and bar seating. Main dining area is on the other side of the bar partition. I had bluegill with a baked potato that was very good. 4 nice sized filets. My plate was $21.50.

Good food at a decent price. The cocktails were very affordable and good. Very busy, so expect to wait to be seated. Service was excellent. Ambience was busy/loud (for a restaurant). I had the broiled cod for dinner and a couple of Cuba Libres.

Why have I not stopped here sooner!? Great food! We had appetizers (they give you an option for a small plate or large) and I had Chicken Tacos which were amazing. We dined on a busy Saturday night and although there was a wait they had table stationed in the back to stand by and get a drink while we waited. Will definitely be back!!

My favorite restraunt in town for many reasons. The service is wonderful, as is every meal I've ever tried! The peaceful energy while remaining casual is right up my alley.

Had lunch with my daughter and her fiance. It was my first time eating at this restaurant.
We were seated in a booth across from the bar and there were a number of TV's playing bowl games.
Our server Amanda was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were decent.
I would recommend the Milwaukee Grill to anyone looking for a good meal.

This place is a hidden gem. The best food ever. The atmosphere is an older dinner club atmosphere. Nothing fancy, but so comfy.

Although we had a short wait for a table, some people leaving gave us their nice spot at the bar to enjoy a old fashioned and some popcorn, which is so delicious. Worth the wait. We weren't rushed as after 7 it cleared out a bit and we could visit and enjoy the excellent food.

Wow! We absolutely loved this place! The food was so good. We started with the cheese curds. Temperature was a little cooler than I think it should have been, but still good. Then hubby had clam chowder and a rueben. He says 10/10 on the chowder and 7/10 for rueben. I had the burrito. It came with black beans and corn cake. Amazing! Wish we lived close as we would probably be regulars.

Stopped on our way through the area, and will definitely come back. It was some of the best food we have eaten in a long time. The service was great and there were so many things on the menu that I wanted to eat, had the Asiago Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans 😋 My husband had the Asiago Penne with grilled chicken and it was so tender it melted in your mouth.

Stopped here on our way through Janesville for lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our food was hot and plentiful. We have been here a few times and have always been happy with our visit.

There are a lot of big chains in Janesville and I'd rather go here every time.
The food is always good, decent portions, solid variety on the menu, and the service is always nice.
I almost always get the penne with asiago cream sauce and blackened chicken, highly recommend if you feel in the mood for pasta!
My mother in law usually gets the fish tacos and my fiancé really likes the salmon with orange butter.

We've been going to The Milwaukee Grill for quite a few years, averaging 1-2 times/week. We love the home cooked food, the food is delicious, the service is great! I would recommend The Milwaukee Grill over any chain restaurant any day of the week!
We've had numerous negative/bad experiences with a few of the chains here in town (won't mention names), and we will not ever go back to those places! The way management handled situations was totally ridiculous, highly unprofessional, and very UNexceptional to say the least!!
By the way, the clam chowder is one of the several items that is absolutely delicious!!

This place is AMAZING! Our food was exceptional. And the service is fantastic. We will return, and are telling our friends and family about this hidden gem.

One of our favorite local eateries. Great service, and excellent food keeps us coming back. On my last visit, I had the chicken and ribs. Both were excellent.

Honestly? Amazing! The buffalo shrimp tacos were an excellent of balance of flavors. The 2 piece cod broiled was very flakey. This is the land of potato pancakes and they did not disappoint at all. We wrapped up with an amazing brown butter cake which was recommended by our waitress not on the menu. The staff work really well together keeping the tables clear. The only issue is the minimal ADA accessibility as more than 3/4 of the dinning room is up several steps.

The service is excellent. The food is excellent and they have daily specials and vegetable specials.
Ample parking and easy to find.

Our server Sasha was new here at Milwaukee Grill but certainly knew how to take great care of us. She already knew almost everything about the menu, made good suggestions and was SUPER friendly.
