Citrus Cafe

Came here with my elderly aunt on a busy Saturday morning. We were seated quickly and pleasantly surprised by all the choices on the menu. It was so hard to decide what we wanted! Our waitress was efficient and friendly, but didn't hover. I ordered the Hawaii Five-O omelet with hash browns and a Swedish pancake. My aunt had the Farmer's skillet without the gravy. Everything was excellent! They cut the meat (ham, bacon, sausage) into tiny pieces, so every bite is literally the perfect bite. The portions are very large. I think this is the first time I've had a breakfast both large enough and delicious enough to warrant to-go boxes. 100% recommend this place! Just go already!

This is a sweet gem in the heart of Janesville. The freshly squeezed OJ lived up to its reputation, and I don't even like orange juice! We could've shared the pancakes between the 3 of us and been satisfied, but instead we all came home with leftovers. I got the special, which was a sandwich, fries, soup, and a drink for just over $10. You can't get fast food for that anymore! My son is really picky about burgers, and he repeatedly said that it was the best burger he'd ever tasted.

Had an amazing brunch with my mom. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food! Very satisfied! I follow a fitness plan at the moment and was very satisfied with my ability to find healthy options amidst all the delicious more indilgent menu items. Orange juice is just as great as they say and... BONUS... they serve mimosas and bloody Marys too! Only open for breakfast and lunch so plan accordingly!

Our new favorite breakfast place! We visited on a busy morning and we were seated upon walking in. Staff are very friendly and make the experience fun and welcoming! The atmosphere is very lively and your traditional family breakfast style. Menu is very large with a variety of items and beverages. Food is phenomenal itself. Highly recommend!

Great value with excellent service! This unassuming cafe is an absolute must for breakfast! Parking in the lot is limited but there is plenty of spaces on the road surrounding Citrus Cafe.

There are a few large dining rooms that can accommodate groups big or small. Large windows in the front of the cafe bathe you in light while you eat. It's evident they take great care in cleaning as the tables and floors are very clean.

We visited the cafe two mornings in a row with the service and food being consistently outstanding. Each time we were seated immediately and our server greeted us with a smile. They both were very attentive and checked up on us several times.

The portions are huge and each bite is full of flavor. The pancakes were light and fluffy with plenty of sponge to them. Biscuits smothered in gravy with just enough pepper. The gyro omelette had feta in each bite (literally). Hash browns with a crisp exterior and took up half of the plate.

It was shocking after eating here that there wasn't a line out the door waiting for this local gem! I'd recommend eating here to anyone and everyone. Certainly a spot that I will return to time and time again.

We were very impressed with being able to seat our party of 26 with not even a 24 hour notice!! Very friendly staff and the service was impeccable…. Great food and service was fast! Thank you so much for making our family get together a memorable one :) Highly recommend Citrus Cafe!!

One of the best breakfast restaurants that I've been to in the last 5 years! I come in 1-2 times a week and always get quick service. Whether it's the ultimate omelet or skillet with biscuit and gravy. It's always fast, hot and fresh. I can usually be seated and eat all under 30 minutes. If visiting the area I recommend coming here.

Excellent service especially since we were a party of 11. Our waitress made sure she checked in often and we were well cared for including our 9 month twin girls. Food was good only recommendations is to not make hollandaze so thick.

Took my moving crew to Citrus Cafe the morning we moved to Janesville. Lots of big hungry appetites. Our group of 6 were seated immediately and food was delivered fast and on target. Large portions, nice and hot, coffee kept full, friendly service with no mistakes - even with special requests. Our entire group rated the experience highly; service, atmosphere, and especially food quality and price.

Always the best!!! Florentine skillet and salmon eggs Benedict, wow!

Such a stupendous meal. And our server Tori was kind, quick and attentive. Definitely worth many visits.

So happy we found this place! Clean, friendly, and the best breakfast menu I’ve ever seen. It was hard to choose, but my husband and I both loved the food. I highly recommend this place and plan to come back next time we pass this way.

I have been eating @ Citrus Cafe since before it was Citrus Cafe and their Service especially some of their Long Term waitresses are the best servers you will find anywhere .PERIOD. Their food is always Top notch but their service is exceptional and what has always kept me coming back !! Definitely one of the Top 5 Restaurants in Janesville !! For Breakfast especially, You can't go wrong !! ENJOY 😊

This is our personal favorite breakfast spot. We travel almost an hour to get to this bustling little Cafe in the heart of Janesville. Best buttermilk pancakes I've had in my life. The menu includes just about anything you could possibly want for breakfast. Great place to bring the whole family. Exceptional service.

We came Hungry and we was Satisfied we had are Favorite breakfast mine was custom made because all I wanted was over easy eggs bacon waffles and hush Browns and they made it for me with out a Extra fee I was so happy the coffee could be made a little batter Tasted a little water down but the food was really good and good size The bathroom was clean 😊 and the workers was really nice 😀 they do have Special drinks to can order that Bring compliment to the place

Always a great place for breakfast. You have to watch the bill though as sometimes they don’t price the specials right. Minor inconvenience for such great food and people.

Food and service are great. There was a slight wait to get in which was much shorter than expected. We had breakfast while dining and it was all very good.They have fresh squeezed orange juice too. My only word of caution is to come hungry because you do get a lot of food.

Always delicious! Service is great, and even on a busy weekend morning, we are promptly seated and food is served quickly. I am obsessed with their Swedish pancakes!
