White Heron Maine

This adorable tiny little coffee/tea shop is absolutely amazing. There are allergen friendly options for both beverages and food. There are also a lot of fun local gift options.
Staff is super nice and despite long lines, comes out decently quickly, but more importantly delicious.

The coffee is beyond tasty. The seasonal specials are a must try. The almond honey latte (dairy free) was easily one of the best coffees I've ever had.

Yum!!! Their tofu/chicken bowls are SO good and healthy. I always get extra of their delicious sauces (green curry one is amazing, low spicy). Their chia raspberry pudding is also the bomb! I live an hour away but always stop here when on a long drive down I95. Please open a location north of Portland! 😍

Don't drive by. This is worth the stop. We had lunch - North Country Canadian Bacon, Turkey, Cabot Cheddar, Maple Mustard, Lemon Aioli & Lettuce on Borealis Bread, Wrap or Udi's GF Bread sandwich and my husband had a salad with fresh greens and fresh turkey and a balsamic dressing. All made in house. They even roast their own coffee and make their own tea blends. Their bakery items - scones and cookies looked amazing.

The White Heron on 236 in Eliot is basically a pick up (not sure if they deliver). Coffee and sandwiches. This place is hopping! I've driven by but never came inside till the other day. Stay line but moved quickly. There really isn't a place to site and eat inside. They have a been with 3 stools inside and 5 chairs outside (no table). They were friendly and service was great. My friend spilled her coffee just after going outside and they made her another one very quickly. If you're in the area and looking for a quick sandwich & coffee or tea, check them out.

What a nice little place! They have a great selection of delicious coffee, and their food is delicious! My boyfriend had the Canadian bacon wrap, and it was absolutely amazing! My oat milk mocha latte was amazing too! On top of this, the staff are extremely nice! Be prepared to spend a bit, but it is our duty to shop local and support our communities!

My family is addicted to this place, specifically my little brother. They know our names and orders by heart now, and I'm pretty sure we know their names well too now. Right at home in Eliot where everyone seems to know each other. Two of my classmates from school work here and it seems that they like the job a lot—I suppose you can't complain when you only ever have to work seven hours at most and the whole time is spent talking with customers and coworkers. Stuff is a bit pricey but that's standard fare for stuff now (unfortunately), so at least it's all good too. Not the sort of place I would patronize regularly if I had the choice for myself, but I do not control how my parents choose to spend their money, and in the end I can't complain about supporting local business—it all comes down to preference.

Neat little coffee shop. They make great sandwiches and the coffees and teas are great too. They roast their own coffee and every variety I've tried has been really good. If you're in the area it's hands-down the best thing around.

Maybe I am just biased, but White Heron Maine has way too great staff. They always welcome me on my way in, and know what I want. They may know me very well, but it's just great. I can't even say I'm coming back cause I do every time. Great food, great stuff, great literally everything.

White Heron nails their takeout orders every time, and when they're out of something they have a suggestion for replacement that's somehow better than the the item I originally wanted. Their all day breakfast wrap is delicious, their drinks are well made (love the Be Well steamer and turmeric latte), and we both love their coffee/tea (my favorites are Jasmine Green and Dubliners Breakfast though you can't go wrong with any of them).

And since they're nearby, it's nice having an alternative to Dunkin or Starbucks. Even when they're busy they're friendly and I've never had anything I didn't like.

I love it here! The service is always excellent and the food is always delicious! I think I've tried almost everything on the menu since they have opened and have always been pleased. My favorite breakfast sandwich is the 207 with veggie sausage and pesto, yum! I tried their cumin black bean soup the other day and really enjoyed it.
Their coffee is delicious! I'm pretty particular about my coffee. I have found some of the chain coffee places have changed their coffee over the years. White Heron's is delicious and fair trade as well. Check out their daily baked goods which are always mouth-watering. My favorite is the Tahini chocolate chip cookie. As an added bonus, they serve their food and beverages in compostable containers!

We love White Heron and the always friendly staff! We grab a coffee here almost every day. The gluten free baked goods are delicious and the curried chicken salad is a favorite.

I got the breakfast wrap and it was incredible. Also had an iced white chocolate lavender latte and that was also fantastic. The people who work there were very friendly and I would go back in a heartbeat. This was my 1st time there, but it will not be my last.

This place warms my soul. Tea is serious business and these great people take it seriously. I was driving and was surprised by their new location on route 236 so I banged a u turn and got a "Stay Well Steamer" it has tea, ginger, cinnamon and frothed milk. So good. I will be back shortly for Christmas shopping. And maybe some things for myself. 😇

We had an egg and cheese and avocado sandwich, and an egg and cheese and spinach sandwich. Both were tasty, the Egg was cooked correctly, the veggies were right, the English muffins were soft and warm and tasty like they should be, too. Very good.

Fantastic coffee, amazing staff, delicious vegan baked goods, great location, and an overall wonderful business member of the Seacoast community. My go to place when I’m looking for the best coffee in the southern Maine Seacoast area!!

Great little joint right off 236. Amazing breakfast and lunch menu and coffee and tea. Super friendly staff, well worth the visit for locals and tourists alike.

Went on day one. Lots of White Heron staples plus added grab and go conveniences. Super cute inside! Coffee and tea is the best like always!

Highly recommended! Its refreshing to have a healthy lunch option near by that actually taste good. The avocado toast is perfect.

Just tried for the first time today, was so quick and easy. Everyone was super nice inside, and their cold brew is great!
