Edge Of Town Cafe

Came for a late Saturday breakfast, they were hopping, but we were sat immediately! Food came out extremely fast and was delicious! We had the Meat omelette, it was huge and stuffed with meat! Hash browns were perfectly extra crispy without being burnt or greasy! Had a ham, egg and cheese croissant…seriously delicious. Added a side of crispy corned beef hash, it was the canned kind like we prefer, not greasy and very crispy without being burnt! Even with the price of everything going up, they have great prices and our server, Alyssa, was super fast, friendly and efficient! Definitely a little hidden gem off the beaten path, we will be back!
Stopped in again, Sally was our server this time, super efficient and friendly! Food came out quick! Tried the special Country Fried Steak, it was delicious. Hubby had the grandpa special with pancakes, bacon & sausage! Pancakes were perfect! We will be back—AGAIN!

Wow this is a really nice place to eat. The interior is fantastic and cozy. It has very clean restrooms. Handicap accessible. Clean tables. Staff appropriately dressed for service, even in such a small cafe. Will definitely come here again. French fries were awesome. Wraps were good too! Thanks guys!

What an awesome experience! A nice atmosphere, great food and an exceptional staff! I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you haven't tried it, you will not be disappointed.

Follow Up: I have gone back several times. Always great food and friendly service. The chicken salad was outstanding!

I dont usually do reviews, however, when it comes to family owned restaurants, this place keeps my opinion true. I believe "ma and pa" restaurants always have the best service and food, because they have to, to keep customers coming back. This was my first visit here, I will be back!!! Well worth it!!! (On a side note, on the negative reviews I read, I did not experience what they are saying at all.) Excellent experience!!!

Perfect diner, small, the food is great. Service was wonderful. I ordered takeout it was ready when they said it would be. I visit every couple of months for the meat lovers skillet with rye toast. Very good skillets here.

Pros:
- Our waitress (Sally) was kind, excellent, fast, and didn’t forget anything.
- We were seated quickly.
- Our food was fast, looked great, and tasted fantastic, and exactly what we asked for (tasted better than I imagined!)
- The bathroom was clean, newly remodeled (I think) and everything functioned in it.

Kid-friendly:
- I had my child along and the waitress was so kind and understanding (we don’t experience this everywhere)
- Kid-friendly cups and a kids menu ($6 per meal)
- We brought along books and never even needed them, by the time we had gone to the bathroom and washed our hands our food was there!

We will definitely be back. 😊

Wonderful service and food quality.

Our grandpa goes here daily for breakfast and when we are in town he brings us. The owners are amazing with him and super friendly. The service is always fast and you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a good place for breakfast or brunch we highly recommend! The pancakes & biscuits in gravy are delicious!

Extremely friendly staff, small town diner on the edge of town. This place is a little slice of heaven served on a delightful plate of your choosing of foods. I would highly recommend their breakfast options myself, but you really can't go wrong with whatever you get from the wonderful people here.

The staff is always friendly and the food comes out quickly. We have always been provided with great food that always comes out hot. Pricing is very fair and the portions are perfect. We never leave hungry! Great job. Keep up the good work.
