Eylul is amazing, she recommended the Turkish brunch which was a medley of hot cold appetizers, homemade jams and with homemade breads. It was so unique and tasty. The platter was enough for 3 people. I would definitely come back again as they have such great service and attention to detail.

The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.

Update; A year later and this place still amazes. They added new items to the menu, keeping it fresh and speaking of fresh, they made my betters half, vegetarian in a split.

The place and the service was amazing!
We decided to have all appetizers instead of a meal and share.
Started with Cinar salad. PERFECTION!
Followed by;
Stuffed grape leaves (I am one that is not a fan. These where tasty and not bitter)

Hot humans. Just go try it for yourself. I could not describe how excellent it was.

Calf liver. OMG if you like liver this is a must have. You know that it good when everyone is having it.

Finally Zucchini pancake. Eh.. They are supposed to be drizzled in yogurt, ours were soaked in it and I found it to be a bit oily.

All in all it was a great place and will be on our rotation of options.

One of the best "Albanian Liver" I've ever eaten in my whole life. I loved them so much. They were fluffy and so tasty. Red onions give the best acidity to consume the deliciousness of the livers.

With its other two branches around NJ, Cinar Restaurant is the best example of authentic Turkish cuisine.

Try Cinar Borek and cigar borek with tomato jam also.

All minced meat kebabs, marinated chicken shish, Turkish Manti (Dumplings), and mezzes are delicious.

Cinar is an owner-operated restaurant, and they have a natural background in Turkish cuisine. By the way, the restaurant is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle)

Lamb Shank is to die for!

Bon appetite! - "Afiyet olsun" in Turkish :)

If you’ve never enjoyed the the wonderful flavors of Turkish cuisine here’s your opportunity to discover these delicious flavors right here in New Jersey at Cinar. Tunc Ozlu, owner of 3 Cinar restaurants brought his mother’s recipes and created what I feel is probably one of the most eclectic menus for a Turkish restaurant.
For our tasting menus dinner, we were treated to “Pink Queen,” a tasty blend of yogurt and beets that we spread on hot fresh pita. This was followed by the creamiest hummus I have every tasted, and I eat Mediterranean cuisine alot. Then we had the Coban Salatsi, Shepherd’s salad, which is one of my faves. By now people were groaning and we haven’t even gotten to the appetizers. The roasted eggplant babaganoush was tender and delectable and vanished as soon as it was on the table. Another favorite was the cigar boreks, light Phil dough filled with feta and rolled and deep fried. They disappeared quickly also. In a past meal Tunc served up zucchini pancakes that were so good you wanted to punch your mother for never making them.
Finally the main courses arrived. Tender chicken kabobs with chunks of breast meat juicy on the inside and crusty on the outside hit the table with the best adana this side of Ankara. By now, the table was groaning from all the food on it. I actually thought I heard somebody’s button pop.
Dessert was made up of three favorites; naturally one was their home made baklava, freshly made vanilla pudding (Kazandibi) and one of my faves, knafe, made with spun pastry called kataifi, soaked in syrup called attar and filled with a sweet cheese and then covered in crushed pistachio nuts. I had a demitasse of Turkish coffee to wash it down.
If you want to try some of these fantastic dishes, all you have to do is find the nearest Cinar and make reservations. Oh, if you mention freerangechowhound’s recommendation you can get a free glass of ice water.

Great food and great service. We decided to try this place for the first time and we were very impressed with the quality and taste of all the dishes. For appetizer we ordered Cinar Salad, Baba Ganush and Fried Calf Livers. Delicious. all of the items were prepared and made perfectly. The Baba Ganush was literally made like home made dish, with some smokiness to the taste and absolutely amazing. Calf livers were tasty, very tender and absolutely not dry at all. Perfectly prepared. Then for the main course, we decided to share a Kabob Platter for two, added a lamp chop to it for small additional price. The entire dish was amazing and pretty straight forward prepared to perfection, but here is where this place shined the most. Usually Chicken Adona is a bit dry, but in this place it is very tasty and very juicy. The flavor is out of this world and all the food came out perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. Price wise, I would say they are pretty much the same as other places in the same category, so to finalize, we love all of the food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back again. Looking forward to also try their Livingston location, which I am sure is just as good.

We ordered the liver and mixed kabob for two. Oh boy it tasted even better than food I’ve had in Turkey! Every bite was full of flavor, tender, and balanced. They must have a 5 star professional chef in the kitchen! Our server was wonderful and quickly attended to all our needs.

Cozy place with a great combination of authentic and modern look. They have a huge selection of Turkish cuisine to pick from including you can rarely find around. Our server, I forgot to ask her name, was very friendly and made excellent recommendations. I believe you will find more than you expect.

We passed by here 10 times a week as we are going to work and home. My wife said we need to visit for lunch or dinner. We decided to go for lunch good choice. The restaurant is a really good looking place. It covers all the aboves comfortable, romantic, elegant and upscale.

Our server name is Ozge, she was super cool. We read in English so my when placing our order we butchered the order of course. Well as a café drinker of course I had to order Turkish café. My wife ordered a ice tea warm bread and a dipping sauce was brought to the table. My wife order the Lamb meatball kebab with rice and veggies. I ordered Turkish dumplings only to be told none were available :( I was so looking forward to eating them. Oh well time to move on to my second choice which was my first desire. Lamb Adana kebab with mash potatoes and veggies.

The veggies carrots, green beans and potatoes with mushrooms. Mushrooms are disgusting that's just me my wife loves them. The veggies sauteed perfect I couldn't have asked for better. The Lamb Adana with the red peppers DAMN GOOD tasty juicy tender. The mash potatoes buttery with a pinch of garlic. My wife said my taste like gyro you have to excuse her she doesn't eat a lot of lamb. My wife loved her meal and said we have to return soon. Which we will with our daughter who is a vegetarian and Cinar has her covered.

Had a great dinner here. Started with the cold hummus which was served with warm sliced pita. For entrees I had the lamb shank and my wife had the chicken kebab. Highly recommend the lamb shank, especially on a nice fall or winter night. Both dishes were served with sides of vegetables and rice. Ended with an authentic Turkish coffee and some kazandibi which was a delicious cinnamon dusted custard dessert

Eylul was an excellent waitress and the food was too notch. We split the combo platter for two to sample the protein options and weren’t disappointed!
