Stop & Shop

I just have to comment. I'm not the avid food shopper, but I need to eat. This place has everything.
But, seeing as I'm not well versed, I always have to ask where things are, or how to do something.
You will NEVER find a nicer, more courteous staff as you will here.
It's humbling to have to ask for help to find something, and they smile and point you to where, or even take you right to it.
THIS makes me come back every time.

Nice staff working there, lallu at the cashier was nice, helpful and always smiling.
I like this store, but today when l went there, l do it almost avery day, l came across, by chance, with some ramadan decoration which was kind of hidden in a corner, just wondering why, when the Jewish holiday, what ever is its name, is coming, u dedicate some shelves to show their stuff, don't we, as Muslims, deserve the same treatment?

I like this grocery store. The shelves are always stocked, and they have items I can only get/find here. It is a big spacious store, so I don't feel like I have avoid isles because there are other customers in them. They always have at least one or two registers with (actual) people to ring up your order. The prices seem comparable to other food stores in the area.

I like this store BUT...how can we get cart returns in the parking lot?? The only option is walking it all the way back into the store and on cold/rainy days or when you have small kids this isn't convenient. This leaves carts all of the place in the lot and on windy days they go sailing...cart returns please!

First time here. Super clean, quiet, all employees are professionals and I enjoyed the shopping. 👍

E.thing is always fresh.. I love their italian subs , only one thing they need to do is add more meat.. its too muchhh bread without the extra meat added.. but the sub is very fresh and tasty..this place is great!!

I’m almost 6 months pregnant and the kind women at the check out register asked another staff to help me bring my grocery bags to my car. It was so thoughtful and very appreciated. Thank you to the staff at stop & shop in West Caldwell!!

Awesome store. Always clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly. Nice seasonal section and magazine section. There are two types of self check out, either scan your own items at the register or scan items with a hand held device while shopping, and both are great and save time. (They still have regular cashier check out as well)Plenty of parking. Conveniently located on Bloomfield Avenue.

Place is always clean, the staff are kind and courteous, and produce is fresh. I've never regretted visiting this Stop & Shop.

When I shop here I’m always greeted. I love the tech of being able to scan, self-check out, and yes, I say hi to Marty. TY

My favorite branch.Its always a clean and fresh environment.Carts and baskets are always in stock! Flyers are attractive and prompts you to buy even without an intention. Bathrooms are available for public use.Ample free parking within the strip mall so errands can be a breeze.Chase bank /ATM within the vicinity as well as several other banks close by.Produce section is immaculate, cheese/bakery is tempting.Freshly served food is available too for take out.Meat and seafood department is always inviting.Its so well organized you can find everything quickly! Cashiers are always pleasant and checkout is fast.

Even at self checkout there is staff that is getting your bags ready while you pay. Very friendly staff, specially the black lady with short hair and the white dude in glasses.

Best food store in area clean unlike shop rite which is dirty . Lots of room to get carts around shelves always stocked ...fruits and veggies fresh. Staff is great courteous and nice. I love this store only shop here

My wife thinks it’s the saddest place on earth just cause it’s not Whole Foods. I think it’s convenient but what do I know ?

I had forgotten my wallet in my car, luckily my friend was in the car. I was totally stressing the cashier and bag guy were very UNDERSTANDING and PATIENT!!

Stop & Shop blows away Shoprite & Most other Grocery Stores. They simply have the Best & Freshest of Everything that you could ever imagine needing or wanting to eat. They are more expensive than Shoprite or most other Grocery stores, but it's well worth it. They have the freshest baked breads, pastries, cakes & deserts, as well as the Freshest fish , poultry & meats in their respective Departments. You will spend at least 1/3 rd more here than @ other Grocery Stores because they have so much more to offer that you find yourself purchasing Gastronomic Delights that you can't find at most other Grocery Stores. The Staff is Always there to help you get what you need & to get in & out in a timely manner. It ranks up there with KINGS & WHOLE FOODS. You can shop online & like most other Grocery stores, they will have your Groceries ready for you to pick up or some stores Do Deliver. I Definitely Recommend them.

I went to another store closer to home before predicted snow and it was mobbed..went over to stop and shop and was pleasantly surprised. Not as crowed, well stocked, good prices, and very clean. My new go to!
