My husband is a patient here. Before starting CCC he felt like no one understood his chronic illness or how he felt. Now he has Dr's & Nurses who understand him & his needs.

I would highly recommend practice for primary care. As a Person who has a developmental condition from birth that impacts the Type of medical care type of medical care I need throughout my life. They really provide the type of ongoing support that my Family and I need.

Wonderful place. Staff is attentive and teaches, rather than tells thier patients about their condition. I've gotten so much help here.

Overall good dentist and staff, does take forever to get an appointment. My daughter has gone a few times for work done. She requires gas. She's not the most cooperative patient but they do work through it and try to keep her calm.

As an adult with cystic fibrosis who does require specific medical attention on certain things.. I’m not allowed to be treated here because I refused to be seen by Dr Coyne as he triggered medical ptsd in me causing me to have near a massive panic attack. I dismissed myself as his patient as I felt he was a threat to my health. I asked if I could change to Dr Scoffield and was told “No due to conflict of interest”. I understand it can make running into Dr Coyne while there perhaps awkward. I left this facility in 2020, so 4 years ago. In the meantime I’ve seen 2 different pulmonary physicians and while they’ve been of help to the best they can be.. they’re still limited to what they can do because they do not have all the access to cystic fibrosis related equipment ( PFE, respiratory therapist, nutritionist,ect..). While I’m thankful for who I’m able to see and what have you. I feel I must leave a review after a recent episode that could have been my pancreas flaring up, a GERD attack, or a fluke. Had I been allowed to continue seeing a team of CF experts at CCC I could be receiving proper enzymes and treatment but because I refused to let an incompetent egomaniac physician continue to abuse his privilege as a physician to intimidate me into unnecessary imaging that literally did not pertain to my cystic fibrosis, I had to forfeit any and all treatment at this facility. The rest of the team for CF was phenomenal but Dr Coyne is horrible and has no business touching adults especially adult women with cystic fibrosis. He should be let go so folks can get the treatment they deserve.

I had been waiting for nearly 2 months to hear from them concerning a referral for primary care services. I finally received a call back from someone there after several inquiries as to the status of my referral that was supposed to be being reviewed. I know when they received it. I know documented each time I called and what I was told. The final time I called I was told that the referral was in the system but I was never called. I was also told that there was a message in there from the doctor to the nursing staff and the doctor was waiting on the nursing staff to respond to them so the referral process could be completed. And then, yesterday, I received a call from someone there who stated, "Well, you seem pretty capable to me based on the information we have." I am diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder: Level 2 and I have Tourettes Syndrome with several co-occuring conditions on record. I asked the individual what they meant by that because I sent what information that I was told they needed to get the review process started. The individual also did not initially state that I was denied the referral for primary care services. To make sure that I understood what she was saying correctly, I asked some questions and then asked so what you are basically saying without saying is that you're denying me primary care services? They said, Yes, they were denying me such services. They said they have strict criteria and I don't meet that criteria based on the information they have. I asked the individual to explain to me what that "strict criteria" is. The individual did not explain what that strict criteria is. I asked if there was someone I could speak to that could answer my questions that the individual was apparently not going to answer. They said that they don't make the decisions and that it was up to the panel. What panel is this? As of a week prior, I was told over the phone that "the doctor" had a message out to the nursing staff to get back to them. That is what the hold up was at that current time. I asked what the message said and the person stated they were not able to convey that message to me. So what panel decides who meets their "strict criteria?"

The website specifically states, and I quote, "Welcome to the Complex Care Center where adults with complex childhood onset conditions can receive primary medical care and specialty services in one location. Our primary care team specializes in these conditions..." Of the conditions listed that do pertain to me, the ones I recognize are and have documented are "metabolic disorders," "Autism Spectrum Disorder," "Intellectual and developmental disabilities," "Multiple functional difficulties (e.g. communication, mobility, chronic pain)," "Others."

All of these things are documented in my past and current medical records. Some of which I sent proof of as I was instructed to do. I cannot send all of them initially and that is within reason to expect. So what "strict criteria" do I not meet? Am I not Autistic enough? Is it because of the way I speak? Is it because of the way I speak? Is it because I inquired as a responsible patient is to do when inquiring about their care when I'm waiting and not getting any responses when I call, not getting any response from Patient Relations. I do believe there is discrimination. There are also prior admissions of some egregious mistakes being made on the part of URMC and are recorded and stated in front of a witness by another employee that is involved with my care. Yesterday, I was basically treated as if I am not Autistic enough and told I told meet their "strict criteria." This and more is quite concerning and highly questionable conduct that's in their records pertaining to my healthcare. Something is definitely wrong and I know exactly what it is. It's in my medical records and it's in their recorded statements. I don't find that appropriate. There is a significant lack of professionalism, there is retaliatory actions for filing a grievance and providing proof. Denial of services I qualify for. Miscommunications, etc.

Horrible Drs.. the Dr refused to get blood tests I requested for my son thinking he had a vitamin d deficiency.. we had to threaten to leave before she agreed.. and of course as I thought he DID have a Vitamin D deficiency..to which she only prescribed a prescription for 1,000mg a day, which isn't even a recommended daily dose for any adult...he had to be put on 50,000mg once a week for 3 months years ago from his pediatrician.. however the dentist is awesome..I am keeping his dentist but found a better place for his primary doctor, psych meds, and therapy.. I wouldn't recommend the Dr at all..
