Farinolio

Definitely recommend this place if you want a taste of Italy. They even have samples daily. First time customers receive two shortbread jelly cookies. Sandwiches are amazing and fresh and made daily.

My daughter and I had a great experience at Farinolio for the Roma dinner experience. We are going to Rome and Tuscany in June with the rest of our family and wanted to do something to prepare ourselves for our trip. The dinner with 10 others was amazing and a great idea! Francesco, Laura and the rest of the Farinolio Family shared their experiences, recommendations and stories that made the experience memorable but educational. The food was absolutely delicious and a perfect combination. If anyone is interested in a thematic authentic Italian dining experience, you should try Farinolio.

Farinolio has been a staple for me and my family, the food is absolutely amazing and the staff is so warm and welcoming, everyone feels like family when they are there! I’ve attended quite a few special events, each one unique and always an amazing time with great food and wonderful company. I highly recommend Farinolio’s for all your breakfast/coffee/lunch/catering needs, you wont be disappointed!

Very unexpected delight right in downtown Westfield, NJ

I’ve had everything from the sandwiches, to the pizza and the cookies to the coffee. All are very unique and authentic to Italy.

Sandwich bread is very light, yet satisfying. Never felt super stuffed after eating, but always pleasantly full. It’s a testament to the high quality ingredients within each product.

The espresso is super smooth and delicious. Coffee is delicious.

I’ve traveled quite a bit and all told I think you’ll be VERY hard pressed to find anything quite like it in the States.

We had a private dinner experience for my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious and it felt like we were having a big dinner party at home - the atmosphere was perfect and our guests loved it. Laura and her staff were amazing. I cannot recommend Farinolio enough!

Good selection of fresh Italian foods. I got the Signorini (sandwich) and enjoyed it thoroughly. Imported drinks are a plus as well. It is also a good place if you're looking for coffees as well as non-dairy and vegan options. I would come back

The moment you open the door to this store, you'll be fall in love with fantastic smell. They make really fresh breads and desserts, and the taste is amazing. Also the coffee is very good. The staff are so friendly and warm. I really like the memory of my first visit to this place so I will go there often. It's a very recommended place!

This gem of a joint needs to be in every town in America. I believe their food is derived from Northern Italy so it's different than what most Americans think of as "Italian" food. The bread used for their sandwiches are made on the premises. The sandwiches and pastries are amazing! I especially am fond of the Boldini! They are going to be open 7 days a week I think the person at the counter told me. Run tho this spot for lunch if you're in the neighborhood. Oh and they cater too.

Amazing cafe in the heart of downtown. The food is fresh, authentic and delicious. Summer jazz nights make me feel like I’m in Florence sitting on a piazza! Oh did I mention the best coffee in town!

Literally had the best sandwich in my life. The coffee was delicious too. Croissants are to die for. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Overall, loved the place.

Such a warm and wonderful smelling bakery! Often pick-up for a sweet or savory treat (specifically love their pistachio croissants and arugula prosciutto croissants!!) Friendly staff, quick service and occasional generous food samples before 10am! I also love being able to see the chefs and cooks prepare the food through the glass window in the back.

Recently visited Italy and this place reminds me so much of the delicious treats I had there. The prices are a bit expensive but you can taste the high quality ingredients they use and so I think it’s worth it.

It's so hard to find really good Tuscan schiacciate sandwiches anywhere, but the ones at Farinolio are amazing. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is super friendly (and very understanding when I pronounce things terribly), and the food is delicious. Everything is well made and perfectly fresh.

Their coffee is solid, too! It's quintessential, excellent Italian coffee. If you want a solid latte that's brewed perfectly, definitely order some to go with your lunch. It's a 30 minute drive from where I live, but I love to make that occasional trip, buy a bunch of sandwiches, and feast. They're worth every minute of the trip.

Damn this place is hitting it out of the park. Food service and atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Had a prosciutto with tomato and mutz sandwich which was just amazing. Wife loved the vegan pizza with eggplant and red onion on top as well as her vegan salad. I tasted the pizza and it was really awesome btw.

Truly satisfying authentic Italian cuisine. This is a deli style place with incredible sandwiches and desserts. Sandwiches look like they are focaccia bread but its a unique recipe and actually much better than focaccia. We also had some desert and a latte. Pricier than you may expect but worth it.

I came to this place looking to try out their pastries since I saw the reviews and everything looks scrumptious. I went in yesterday around 2pm in the afternoon and as soon as I came in I was greeted by a employee named Yara (I think that was her name) she was so nice and friendly made me feel welcomed and I told her it was my first time there so she decided to give me a whole history behind Farinolio. She was so knowledgeable about everything and suggested to try their different food options. Like I mentioned in the beginning, I wanted to try out their pastries and when I came in they had already sold out on half of the options which is understandable, because Yara had mentioned they make everything from scratch in the morning and most of their food gets sold out in the morning. Regardless of it I decided to try the ones they did have in stock which was the blueberry muffin, sfoglia allá crema, bombolone, torta caprese, and a variety of cookies. Everything was amazing!! I loved that they have samples to try before you buy the whole thing. Definitely recommend trying this place out! They are also gonna be opening a new location in summit (if I’m not wrong). Hands down gotta come back in the morning to try all their pastries variety and some of their other food items!!!

Our favorite place in Westfield! The first generation owners and their staff and always calm, kind and helpful. It's a very family friendly spot, perfect for a snack or meal with friends and family. We've been here multiple times and the quality of the food is consistently superior. Our favorite vegetarian option is the panino with the creamy perorino cheese spread, fresh arugula, and caramelized baby onions. The bread is always freshly baked and perfectly soft, chewy and crunchy, very reminiscent of what you'd find in Italy. All of the treats baked in-house and nothing is too sweet (we are partial to the ones with dark chocolate or the hazelnut spread). We are regulars for sure! Keep up the amazing work!
